Trinity Hotel

The location was convenient, but the room was not clean upon arrival. The sheets had stains, and the bathroom smelled musty. I expected better standards for the price I paid.

Great hotel in a central location, surrounded by lots of restaurants and cafés. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect for a comfortable and convenient stay!

The hotel's location is excellent and close to restaurants and cafes. The hotel is very old and the room maintenance is at a low level. The lighting in the foyer did not work. The shower and toilet had mold and stains around the tiles and the toilet was wobbling. It should be noted that the room does not have air conditioning and in the hot seasons it can be less pleasant. The service at the reception was pleasant and courteous.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, so I feel well-informed to share my honest review.
While the location is undeniably convenient, the overall experience has been consistently disappointing. Here are the major issues I’ve encountered:
— Price Fluctuations:The room rates change unpredictably, almost like the stock market.
— Poor Hygiene:The rooms are infested with cockroaches, which is unacceptable.
— Maintenance Problems:The shower and sink frequently flood, making the stay quite uncomfortable.
— Unprofessional Management:The manager, a woman named Tseday, is extremely rude and unprofessional. She treats guests as if they owe her money, creating a hostile and unpleasant atmosphere.
That said, I do want to highlight the reception workers. They’ve always been friendly, helpful, and professional, which is one of the few positive aspects of this hotel.
Although the hotel is in a great location, the poor management and lack of upkeep overshadow any positives it might have. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

Arrived to find they couldn't honour my Expedia booking. They charged my Expedia booking to a night I was supposed to have paid for by my tour company. Had to find an alternative booking. Will be reporting to Expedia.

It was very disappointing. I confirmed booking ahead via phone with pick up from the airport but on the day no one came and they wouldn't pick up their phone either.

Unsafe that my friend got robbed and the management were so rude that they couldn't even admit their mistakes I don't recomened it at all.

The following are the positive observations:
1) Although my room is average in size. It is well furnished, neat and bed was prepared nicely.
2) The place is relatively safe although I rarely left my room.
3) The hotel is located on a main road and can easily be reached by both public and private transportation.
It also offers an underground parking space for residents👍
4) I've ordered Clubsandwich and fresh Orange juice. The sandwich was thick, nicely done and really huge that I couldn't finish it in one meal.
The food had exceeded my expectations considering the price 500 Ethiopian Birrs 👍💯
The hotel offers free breakfast as well which I am willing to try in the morning ✌️
Here are the areas which needs your attention:
1) I have ended up paying more than I've been told for the room.
2) The premises is fairly close to the Airport, yet many of the taxi drivers have difficulty identifying it's location! It would be much easier to tell the driver that it's close to Edna Mall.
3) The receptionist that handled my requests was not really professional and had totally ignored my presence in one occasion!
4) The food preparation was super slow!
5) The electricity power was not stable. There were several outages.
6) The TV has not much to offer in terms of channels! Too many local channels, and no sports or international channels available!
7) The exchange service does not include all types of currencies, so it would be wise to exchange your foreign currencies at the airport.

I am so honored to have stayed at such a wonderful place not once but twice! My husband and I have made this the official place we recommend when visiting in Addis Ababa. It is only 5 minutes from the airport and close to several places. The staff is so friendly and polite and ensures you are getting the top hospitality. Great value and quality!

Here on Vacation, and attend a wedding plus visiting family and friends! Trinity Hotel is a hidden secret. The Management staff were very friendly, nice, and accommodating! The facilities supervisor and team were attentive with keeping the rooms clean and comfortable. Each morning our Hostess and servers provided a breakfast that was really great! We will definitely be back and also recommend this The Trinity Hotel (BOLE) to Family and Friends for future visits!

I am still currently staying at this hotel. This is one of the best hotels with an excellent center location, great pastries and food. I even ordered 2 big cakes for a birthday celebration at this hotel. This hotel gets customer service right, and the guards on security are always helpful and assist customers carrying there luggage and other personal belongings. I would highly recommend staying at trinity hotel: great food, rooms are big and showers are hot, and they have satellite television. The cleaning staff do an excellent job cleaning, disinfecting, and also sanitizing the rooms. The cleaning staff and also servers work hard around the clock to keep up in satisfying the guest's needs. Also, the manager and owners of the hotel are amazing and great people. I stayed in top 5 star hotels in Addis, Europe, USA, and Dubai but nothing can compare to the top notch customer service and family environment of trinity hotel.

Trinity Hotel is located close to the airport, yet in a busy neighbourhood surrounded by shops and across the street from an interesting church. We stayed here twice during our time in Ethiopia, the first time for four nights, the second for one night. On both occasions we were picked up and dropped off by the hotel's airport shuttle. The hotel has a restaurant on the first floor, with varied buffet breakfast each morning (a mix of Ethiopian and Western food) and we also ate dinner there twice — everything was really tasty. The rooms we stayed in had a safe, hair dryer, fridge and balcony; beds were reasonably comfortable and there was always hot water when we tried to use the shower. There is street noise and when we stayed on the third floor, some noise from the hallways, but it is a 24 hour hotel. The fourth floor was quieter — this could have just been a quieter night though. The best thing about Trinity is the staff — everyone we dealt with over our time there was friendly and really did go out of their way to help us. On our last night, we arranged a taxi for the following morning at 5:45 am to take us to the train station, which is approximately 40 kilometres out of the city. The receptionist who helped us called us a couple of times to make sure the driver knew where he was going and checked in again to ensure we had made it to the station okay. I wish I knew her name to say a special thank you! We really appreciated overall their concern for our safety and enjoyment.
