New hotel that looks new. Good beds and fairly clean. The hotel is however not modern. Staff are clueless and make sure you order your food properly because if the waiter don't understand you, they will just ignore the order. Room service took 4 hours, 6 reminder calls before they finally confirmed that the simple dessert dish I had ordered was not available (while confirming in each call that they had it and that they were coming). Bathroom has a foul sewer stench. No hotel information in the room. Kids are allowed to run around in the hallways late in the evening screaming without the hotel doing anything. Balcony doors don't properly close, allowing mosquitos in. There is of course no repellent from the hotel. Half of the items on the breakfast menu is never available. Same for the evening menu in the restaurant. Overall a very disappointing hotel that looks promising on the surface. Edit: The hotel did apologize for the poor service and provided a free dinner as compensation. They still have a lot to work on, e. G. Train the waiters on the items on their menu. But it appears as they are trying to improve.
