Looming Hostel Hostel

Very uncomfortable, private washing opportunities are non-existent, everything looks extremely worn out, there is no creativity, the furniture has not been restaurated. I'm going to tell you honestly, it looked like no one hasn't really tidied up the terrace for a reallllllyyyy long time. The stuff write afterwards on your personal account, to ask, what went wrong, that I didn't put 5 stars. Weird… will never go back.

Amazing place, they recycle and give things second life. They use natural cleaning products. Staff are friendly and nice, and helpful. Beautiful, modern/hipster place, also kids friendly. Have amazing roof terace. Loved the stay there and would come back.

Wonderful hostel with small rooms, making friends with other guests was so easy. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Tartu.

The hostel is a good place to stay for 1 or 2 nights. The volunteers are frendly, funny and clean. When we arrived we thought to stay 1 night but the experience was so good that we dicided to sleep there another night. The bedrooms are very clean and confortable. Is a good option for visiting tartu.

Cool place to stay! Awesome staff, neat and friendly atmosphere, a bed in 6 bed room seems very far from other beds. Here you have terrase to hangout, sunbathe and smoke! Its 20-25 min from city centre and close to train station, but worth it.

Nice atmosphere, clean and comfy inside decor. An ideal youthhostel, but a bit far from the center.

Looming Hostel was my home for almost a month. I think that this sentence pretty much sums up everything: The staff was the most helpful people that I could have encountered, they welcome everyone to their lives so you can have a touch of the real Tartu lifestyle. I am a student here in Tartu, and even though I had a terrible amount of work I could always manage to study at the hostel since it has a really calm and warm atmosphere. They even helped me to deal with all the University bureaucracy! Thank you, girls for the amazing time at the Looming family!

Picture shows the view from the terrace. Pretty relaxed and comfortable hostel. I wouldn't consider this place a party hostel. The staff here are very friendly and willing to help out if you need anything, e. G, good places to eat, attractions, etc. Would recommend this place to my anyone.

Lovely hostel in a nice area. The hostel was clean and the beds were decent. Terrace was great and the hostel offered multiple common areas which were actively used by the other guests. Very nice atmosphere and all staff were very helpful. Thanks to their friendly attitude we had a great stay here. All and all a solid 5/7, perfect score!

The hostel is small, clean and with a very interesting design. There is an open roof on which in warm time it is possible to sit, eat. But such a minus that half of the rooms overlook this roof, as a result if warm, it will be very noisy in the room from people sitting on the same roof.

My personal interest is about better Recycling of Urban Waste. I went to Estonia to learn. Looming is among the best attempt to sort and recycle different urban waste in context of "social dwelling" (e. G. Hostel). The staff are humble, and said "they are still learning to recycle better, whereas Hong Kong where I am from, is way behind. Green Manifesto.

Really cozy and friendly place! Best hostel in Estonia! I have lived in hostels more than half year of my life and it's hard to find so helpful staff and clean & cozy place They even left me a letter when I arrived after the staff had left. Great work guys!

Helpful staff, cozy without feeling cramped, green and neo-hippie atmosphere made this place amazing for us. Cool roof terrace and very roomy kitchen for own cooking. Literally my only complaint was that the shower drain was clogged while we were there.

Simply the best! Incredibly friendly atmosphere, nice stuff and interesting people coming every day. You just can't visit Tartu without staying there!

Great experience being there at looming hostel, owner and staff members were amazing and lots of backpackers coming here makes it super awesome to spend few days and talking to different people from different countries.

One of the best hostels I've ever been lucky enough to stay at. Just a lovely little comfortable friendly spot. Wish I had been able to spend way more time here. The staff are great and you can tell they all really care and make an effort!

Very nice "eco-recycling" hostel with friendly staff and great balcony.

One of the few small and friendly hostels you will definitely remember. With free parking.

So far the best hostel in Estonia i've visited. Building, location, rooms, showers and especially service. Keep up the good work there.
