Our holiday to Egypt was absolutely amazing just because of the staff from Sheraton Soma Bay. They was very carefully, they pay attention to everything, was very friendly with us, all of them. Our room was very spacious and clean, we had clean towels every day, and cleaning in our room to. I wish I can have the possibility to go back there every month. I will miss it for the rest of my life. I'm in love with that place. 😍

The beach is great and the water is clear. The food was great. The staff was very friendly and polite in the room services especially Mr. Hamdy and Omar. The restaurant team was also friendly and helpful especially Mr. Omar, Mr. Osama and Amr. They have nice table to feed birds and pigeons and our kids were happy to see them. And many thanks to Ms. Salma from the reception who did an amazing job to make sure we having great rooms. The aqua park was amazing. The bell men were active. The animation was very good. Everything was marvelous. Specially the stuff. So pleasant and cheerful. It became my favorite till now.

My best birthday, one surprise after the next. From the Clean Team, who conjured up a cake made of towels in my bed and in the restaurant I got flowers and candles, at the end a very excellent birthday cake made of chocolate. In the bar there was dancing and suuuuper cocktails prepared.
But also in the entire SHERATON there is service 24 hours. Every wish is fulfilled. We are thrilled and happy every day. The ambience is unique!

Great hotel, very clean and well-kept. Nice and helpful staff. Food is tasty and varied. You can feel safely here. The beach is also looking good. Rooms are well cleaned, towels are changed and water is brought daily. Beautiful lobby bar, service there are friendly too.

Hotel is "old" but charming, staff are polite, kind and very friendly, food is amazing, ocean is great and the Riff absolutely beautiful, great, perfect, snorkeling or diving is an experience. First time here, but not the last time. Rooms are simple but very clean (cleanest we have ever had), bars great and pools nice.

Beautiful resort with lovely staff and amazing food! The suites are spacious with a separate seating area. The beach is gorgeous with comfy loungers and privacy fencing at each — all with a spectacular view of the water and mountains. Note that it is motel style in that all room doors are open corridors (outside) — which isn’t an issue except on windy days, you can hear the wind for sure. The buffet is amazing! It has a variety of food options for everyone including a hot station, salad station, large meat display section (turkey, lamb etc), deli meats station, fresh fruit station, rotating station, fresh bread maker, and outdoor upscale hot choices, and outdoor breaded something station (morning waffles, evening sandwiches etc). There is truly something for everyone! We did order room service once and the food was pretty awful — so I’d suggest eating at the restaurants as they do not disappoint! The location is great with a nice dive shop right next door, optional boats for day outings, and if you walk to the other side small cafes and shops just along the beach. Biggest drawback would be there is no free coffee in the rooms — only tea. I understand not wanting people to take the nespresso machine pods — but charging for morning coffee is cheap. Then offer a basic alternative in the room and upgrade option of nespresso.

Stayed at this hotel with the family for 6 nights. All I can say that it was an amazing experience. The staff here are beyond superb. Amazing views, food, and entertainment with world class service. Special Thank you to Asst. General Manager Mr. Ibrahim Abdo for making our stay memorable. We will definitely be back soon.

Nice staff, mostly friendly and polite. Especially the animation/ kids club crew did a great job performing their daily routine for children in the evening. My son loved it. The flat beach with it’s fine sand will be, together with the quality of the food, another reason to check in here again when coming to Egypt again.

The hotel is very nice but the atmosphere is horrible as if you are staying in a 1 star hotel or public beach! The hotel makes cheap corporate deals for very low standard guests. During our stay there was a MALE ONLY group from a company/factory from upper Egypt. Its our first and last time to stay at this hotel!

This is the most beautiful resort I have been to in my entire life. The staff (Mounsef, Samir, Bassim, and Yasser) are very professional. The food was great. The beach view is gorgeous. I will not hesitate to come back.

A lot of Things went wrong… Service and it was dirty… they are sleepers… one Year ago, never will come back there.

It's not a 5 star but a 10 star. This is a very beautiful place however it's outside of Cairo and take 5 hrs from there. The whole staff are friendly.

Best natural views with best sandy beach… and friendly staff.

A beautiful house reef, very polite staff and great room service, the apartment was with 85 m2 and a top sea view because beach front, the money worth, just the buffet dinner in the evening was like in a station hall, very noisy and extremely air conditioned, we got no day a table on the terrace, no matter what time we arrived, a pity if you fly into the warm in the cold season and then sit in it, alternatively there was a sea view restaurant and an Italian, but you had to reserve, but annoying on holiday, since I want to eat if I am hungry and lust, not when the time dictates, at the pool bar there were drinks only in plastic cups, for a 5 star hotel does not go at all, but we will come back and have a slightly different hand, because in the whole it was a very nice holiday, the time, because school holidays in perhaps not the right.

We had an amazing stay in the Sheraton Soma Bay. The service was amazing even if you book the Alm Inclusive package. The staff is really friendly and have always a big smile in their face. If people complain about the food I don’t understand their point. Every evening there is a different kind of fish beef chicken and much more. Sometimes it helps to talk about some points with the Management instead of writing a bad review.

Worst service ever n bad attitude from all the working staff.

Good facilities. Horrendous food. Staff tries their best to fix things through offering complimentary food after one speaks up. But that isn’t your strength point guys, It’s the same low quality food that for some reason is always drowning in an oil puddle…

My stay in sheraton soma bay was under my expectations, it was very bad exprience starting from receptionist who was very rude and it takes us very long time to check in, they couldnt find the payement on their system, dinner is very poor quality, sticky chairs, very slow refill, and the staff is lost and didnt respond, soft drinks not included in half board, 3 times fire alarms within same day, staff didnt even respond with any actions telling us its false alarm without any investigation, this is urgent safety issue for me, in my opinon its a very low standard hotel,, 4 stars hotels service is better than this.

Lovely hotel with nice staff and an absolute stunning location, surrounded by beautiful crystal clear water! The cherry cake is the beautiful house riff! We were here as a couple and had an all inclusive booking.

It wasn't bad but the food wasn't the best and if you are not all inclusive you will have to pay 35 Egyptian pounds for a small water bottle instead of the normal 3 pounds. On the other hand you get two complimentary water bottles in the morning at your room with the house keeping. Even though the views are really good from the sea view rooms and the reception and the sea is spectacular the food experience wasn't the best like knowing you have to pay for drinks with your dinner (which is not cheap) is a bit disappointing.

Exceptional and amazing place, The stuff is helpful, The beach is so beautiful, The pool is so large, There are internal road to do sport and a moderate gym, the food is delicious. The only negative thing is the price of food in the restaurant, the price is so high and there are not any other restaurant in Soma Bay.

Any great resort needs great services and the Sheraton definitely came through. We went for a family trip over the weekend and we were not disappointed whatsoever. The interior as well as the architectural design was amazing; All based on Ancient Egypt. Even the elevators had ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs on them. The staff at the restaurants were amazing; super friendly and did not waste time at all. The shows were very cool and showed the cultural side of Egypt which was very refreshing to witness. There’s not much to see when you snorkel but the water is BEYOND amazing. It’s so chill and clean you feel like you’re in a natural pool. Awesome place!

The beach is so beautiful. The service is very good and the water park is so fun and exicting! And the swimming pool is so cool and don't forget about the jacozy it is so relaxing.

Actually this hotel ruined my vacation: this is the case in a few points
1 — in this huge hotel there is only one pool full of children screaming and yelling in a loud voice with their mothers in Full outfit not swimwear where the hotel doesn’t mind or interfere
2-breakfast and dinner buffet have a limited number of options and variety with barley acceptable quality (just Edible) but not tasty
3-no drinks in the dinner buffet where they sell overpriced coke and juice (I found hair in a piece of meat)
4-Entertainment at the hotel is only for kids, no decent program for adults-just noisy loud Arabic songs that are not even suitable for a 5 star hotel
5-they only good thing around here is the staff, but unfortunately that’s not enough to make ur vacation good enough
Conclusion: I advice others to book in any other hotel either than this one.

First at all I would like to thank the hotel's staff specially the management and control that behind the scenes of all this wonderful level of service, the staff are really so friendly, helpful, hospitable, polite and insisting to make you happy and satisfied about everything. Rooms have good space, great view and always clean with big 40' smart tv. The aqua park is pretty good for either adults or childs and its staff are very concerned about safety. The beach is smooth and clean with a clear water with alot of activities. The gym is good enough to keep you pumped up for a week. The kids club as well, one of the most important thing to be mentioned. A big thanks to the animation team for such a great effort, really liked every night show. What I really liked the most the main restaurant for two reasons, the first thing that there is a kids area inside the restaurant that makes you leave them eating by themselves while watching the TV to enjoy your meal without any annoyance. The second thing, the unique and outstanding staff starting from the restaurant manager, cheif/Rafik, cheif/A'laa, Mr/Yasser and Mr/Mahmoud, they are one of a kind, they made me feel like home, very kind, always smiling and very hospitable. The food is very delicious and fresh. Finally I strongly recommend this hotel specially for families with kids you will have an unforgettable experience right here. The real definition of generosity. It's gorgeous here! Have been to many 5-Star facilities around the World and I have to say that Sheraton Soma Bay can keep up fully. I Wouldn't have expected at the Price. Super Staff, quality and delicious Food, clean Rooms. Easy Top.

Over and over again and always beautiful. Although something is getting older, the cordial and very attentive Employees who have been working here for Years are compensating for a lot. The colourful Plastic tower Placed in the beautiful Desert Landscape should not have been and the Means used for this would have done the already existing and now 20-Year-old real Estate very good.

The hotel has an amazing beach with beach activities like volleyball. Very close to all other hotels. It has a huge pool and a great water sports center with excellent instructors.

Nice place, the restaurant is very very good quality. The outdoor mobility could be cooled and the animations diversified.

Excellent hotel on the edge of the Red Sea with an almost private beach and spectacular pharaonic-style swimming pools. I was in February and for the cold I did in Europe, this place offered sunshine and complete relaxation. It is a bit far from Hurghada airport, but better because it is quieter and less boisterous. In this area were being built (when I was) new hotel complexes that will already be finished so one will not have the feeling of being in a hotel in a desert. The meals were very abundant and of excellent quality always. I especially remember the breakfasts where I ate the paddle fresh beet that I have eaten in my life.

Best geographical location in Soma Bay. Hotel unfortunately needs to be renovated. Slow service in the main restaurant and not so attentive.

Had a wonderful time at the Sheraton resort. Especially if you are traveling with young kids, this is the place to go. Beautiful corral reefs that can be explored while snorkeling, wildlife everywhere in the water, good service and good food.

Me and my girlfriend spent one week at sheraton soma bay. Soma bay is located about 45 minutes from cairo airport. Its a calm and relaxing area (not like hurghada with 1000 hotels next to each other). Staff was very friendly, room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable! Food was delicious. The hotel beach is calm and beautiful. The riff is amazing — we highly to recommend snorkeling there. Of course 5 stars in egypt are not like 5 stars in europe but the standard offered there is far better than other five star hotels e. G. In hurghada! We recommend sheraton soma bay for a relaxing beach holiday!

A well maintained hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are well equipped and clean. Food adequate and very tasty. Many fresh herbs are used, often typical oriental dishes. The shishabar het very tasty fresh mint tea. The location is perfect. 5 min walk to the diving base. 10 min. By bus to Kitebase this runs every hour. Or rent a bike on the beach and drive through Soma Bay. At the beach there is serving or you go to the beach restaurant for lunch. Beach without stones and just perfect for pure running. For snorkeling you need 10-15 min walk to reach the end of the bridge, this is not directly in front of the hotel. Nice guests and also lots of children. In front of the hotel there is the Somasplash, where the kids can let off steam for a few hours on the water slides. Costs 10 euros per day for one child. We felt comfortable and for our children there was something for everyone. Recommended.

It's a nice place w good food and family environment. But there is nothing to do. Shortness in staff. There is no life guard on beach. Recommended for couples and families.

The facility is really nice. Well-kept pool area, spacious and large beach with comfortable soft chairs. For All Inc. Guests is important to know that the Italian restaurant can be booked every night and you don't have to go to the buffet restaurant. Also long drinks with local spirits are included! Just ask if you are unsure, because only beer and wine will be boring for a long time.

Good beach but the food is bad and very few options for a 5 Stars hotel. Rooms are good and clean. The hotel is full of Egyptian families with many children so if you are going with your kids it's a good option, but if you're single or looking for peace and relaxation then definitely not recommended, you'd get children headache syndrome.

An excellent place, but the service sometimes are so delayed and you have to ask multiple times. I hate the idea that most hotels don't provide drinking water during meals but for breakfast. During my previous visit the buffet had a wider variety and higher quality, this time it's good but with lower quality except for a dish or two. I loved the chefs and their will to help all the time. The beach is wonderful, the gym is cozy and nice. There're two ping pong tables and one billiards (pool). The hotel offers bike rentals. They have good water sports that are very nice but pricey in comparison to time for each. The hotel corridors sometimes have an awful garbage smell which I don't know the source of.

I was in January of 2016, the second Time at the Breakers. I have a lot of it, criticisms of thought, but I must confess, that to me is really not the only point of criticism comes to mind. The Hotel is located in a super neat and clean condition. The rooms are spacious, clean and cozy. The room service does an excellent job. All the employees are always friendly and never pushy. Pretty excited I am to eat — daily changes to the Dinner offerings. All dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients and taste fantastic. Regular evening Events are held (Arabian nights, DJ, Party, etc). The beach has fine Sand, is, however, not suitable for swimming, since the Hotel has an own house reef. Those who go for a swim wants to, can run a few meters and find generous, beautiful sand beaches (for example, in addition to the Kite-base). For divers, the Hotel is a true Paradise. Directly connected to the ORCA dive center Soma Bay (term rooms center about 30 seconds ;-) ). A very special thank you goes to Stefan, the Chef from the Breakers. He has his Shop under control and is always there for his guests because (as can any guide pack). I come back in any case.

Vacationing wife 2 weeks. The hotel is just a fairy tale. Not noisy expensive vacation. The audience is relevant. Includes all you can and even more. Gone again? Yes, even live would remain.

Hotel good. Booked Suite isn't that great. Extra charge for luxury suite 50 euro per day. Conditioning, pools and beach Super. Staff extra class. Friendly and obliging. The food is the only thing really was wrong. Incredibly bad. Always the same. Ideal for someone who take off

Amazing beaches, great coral diving.

Good German hotel for a relaxing family holiday. Everything is clean and culturally. The sea is lovely but shallow. Next pontoon and coral. The Russians are well. Children animation is of course very слабенькая. Кормят delicious, full of fruit, evening «thematic» kitchen, children's menu. The staff is polite, helpful bartender Joseph! A good employee and very polite and tactful person with a feeling of humor. Additionally any money for the cleaning of the room or its replacement is no need to pay, do everything and so on просьбе. По evening show programs, can not describe, for children at this time were already asleep. There is a gym and Billiards, and sauna, everything works fine. If shopping is interesting, that this hotel is not suitable, to Hurghada far. Before selecting alcohol, specify whether it is the cost of your tour, then billed, the order in the room the same surcharge. The hotel is 2 weeks, in General, only positive impressions.
