Just got back from the second time we went here. Especially the Rotisserie was excellent! Superteam, professional and fun. Excellent food, great service! In the hotel we had a very good room, beautiful view of the lagune. Friendly staff, allways ready to help.

It was a wonderful holiday with great food and friendly people. Thank you! Only the "Lie book" could be changed a bit. Every day were occupied, several with towels, but for hours no tourists were to be seen.

Great Hotel with very friendly staff and always new Surprises. Daily changing theme evenings in the Restaurant. We feel very comfortable here and the Hotel can recommend, without exception, more! We would be happy to come back.

Super Hotel, super-service is always friendly. But above all, due to my various allergies, for me in the morning, at noon and in the evening, an extra cooked whole class because I had made since Provide. Well-Maintained Complex. I will definitely come back!

The hotel is supposed to be five stars but only diserve a maximum of 3 stars, the photos of it looks amazing but the reality is different, the rooms were nice with no ventilation system in the bathroom only one window, the hotel was small not well lit in the night, the hotel shared bathroom smelled like sewage, the food there was very bad. In total I didn't get value for the amount of money paid. I was supposed to be there for 6 days but checked out after the first night.

We were in Egypt for the first time at the Steigenberger Golfen Resort El Gouna and were absolutely thrilled!
Very hospitable and competent staff, great large room with large balcony, very clean, very good food! Great hotel complex with golf course! We felt very comfortable and would go on holiday there again at any time!

Essentially a peaceful colony on the Red-sea. Be prepared to be completely immersed by incredible waters and sandy beaches. Amenities galore with the all-inclusive option, from drinks to snacks available all day at several different bars in convenient locations. The buffet provides a wide variety of delicious well-rounded meals and scrumptious desserts. Staff is beyond helpful, and well versed in German, Arabic, and English. Rooms are spacious and can comfortably room three people. Be sure to book a room on the laguna, the view from the balcony provides unparalleled beauty. Overall a wonderful choice for your stay in El Gouna.

I have been to many places and Hotels in the world – El Gouna and the Steigenberger Golf Resort have now conquered my heart. Starting with the reception with a welcome cocktail followed by a ride with a Golf cart in the ABSOLUTE dream of a room with incredible architecture and a wonderful view on a huge balcony. Has been cleaned every day Tip top. The food is also, as a vegetarian, I have nourished me so far of French fries & pasta – not here…! The selection is mega big, and what has convinced me personally really is a very special international and Egyptian dishes from the sweets and the fruit, I don't have to start even Mega! The Service and all the staff, whether at the Pool, in the garden or on the beach, were welcome, without exception, helpful, and incredibly adorable. You realize that the work as happy and well treated. Tanja, the animator is alone, but for ten :-) she is very sporty and has given super classes in the Pool and in the sun. As a party escort is for everyone to have Fun and make it the biggest party-pooper, and swing your hips. The Pool is clean and spacious and there are enough sunloungers and umbrellas available. Even here, you will be supplied on request with drinks. The lagoon beach is also very pretty and very quiet. The water, unfortunately, something less beautiful than that of the open sea at a partner hotel Paradiso – because the Sand is not so pleasant.

Very nice uncluttered hotel complex. Very large clean rooms. Super friendly operation. Food is very good and is partly freshly prepared in front of the guests. Guest care Is very friendly and humorous.

With benevolence 4 stars. Unfortunately, the quality decreases from year to year. The facility is undergoing a renovation backlog. The bathing goats on the beach partly too little and in a worn — permeated state.
Eating meat foods could be more generous. You have to point out cleanliness in the room.

Very luxury hotel with nice service, good restaurant and amazing nature around.

The Resturant there is very special among many ones in El Gouna. The atmosphere as well is great.

Very bad hotel. The service was very bad. Very small swimming pool, no activities, beach is lake, no enough seats by the beach. Food is not that good and too much flies in the resturant. The guest relation shouted at my wife in a rude way. Descrimination is so obvious as we felt we were not welcomed.

Actually, I would give 5 stars, but there were 2 things that have bothered us extremely.
-which may be smoked at meals, is in my view totally inappropriate.
You sit there as a non-smoker and from all the tables around you get a smoke.
-Sun beds are reserved for many hours with towels, but no one is on it. No one says anything about half an hour.
But here it was often 4-5 hours, where you did not see anyone on the couch.
It should be said that there are not enough sun beds for everyone.
Otherwise very nice staff and it was a clean and nicely maintained facility.

First of all: very very friendly staff!
The rooms were extremely clean, the grounds were well maintained… every now and then you saw something dirty but this did not bother and was not very much! I would return to this hotel again and again because it was very nice! Also in the traditional tent where you could smoke shisha and drink tea it was a very pleasant environment. The food was also adorable!
And again to the staff: always greeted, were friendly, helped where they could! Thanks for a very nice week!

My first vacation in Egypt is a complete success. From day one to the departure date. Starting with the staff that works very friendly, helpful, German speaking, funny and simply always enthusiastic.
The buildings are in good condition.
The rooms are quite large and also well furnished. The food (buffet) was top. So many different offers of food, whether soups or meats, like fish. The pool areas are very clean and well maintained. The general facility is super-kept in shot. My conclusion for the Steigenberger ️ Resort is: "Anyone who was here in Egypt (El Gouna) will certainly not have been there for the last time".

I have visited El Gouna 7 times, stayed at different hotel categories and I can say that Steingerberger is by far my most disappointing visit. Aside from getting food poisoning (I ate all my meals at the hotel), I constantly felt disappointed. Yes the facilities are nice, but the service you get is suboptimal. Staff is friendly and polite yet there is a clear lack of training and attention to detail. From dust on room floors to a hurried insolent waiter at the restaurant (fil…led with all inclusive guests), to room service not being able to take an order in English, to not being able to reach the hotel by phone prior to our visit (! ) you wonder why you paid so much to get such an average service. As for my food poisoning incident, the deputy manager and manager reactions could only be described as inconsistent and in one of the cases dishonest. First of all, there was friendliness and offering to help, covering pharmacy expenses for instance, a suggestion to meet with the head chef to explore possible allergic reaction to ingredients, then there was a strong denial of even the possibility of food poisoning under their state of the art system. When asking for a doctor to get an injection to stop the continuous vomiting (and possible dehydration), all I got was: you can go to El Gouna hospital. Clearly there is no operations manual at this place, people just improvise. Do yourself a favor, stay elsewhere.

I really love the hotel it is equipped with everything from towels to to fancy restaurants by the pool I would recommend steigenberger if your planning to stay at gouna.

After a week of Nile cruise that was really worth living, I was looking forward to a week of Steigenberger since this hotel chain belongs to the elite of the hotel industry. For a 5 star hotel, however, it was average. Room large and well maintained. Plant also but everything has already seen better times. The food average, the first days varied. After the 3 day on top.
Pool not heated and not deep enough. 160 cm.
Staff are friendly.
Coronation, however, and that's why I actually write a recession (live and let live) it cannot be that paying guests are crammed on their couches at the pool as the hotel has a larger wedding party and the pool area for the Vacationers is taboo.
For lunch there were only a few servants for the guests with, the wedding seems to be a priority.
Either adjust the stars to 3 or it must be massively changed!

Great place but restaurant and bar unworthy of the place.

We stayed at El Paradiso this year and were deeply disappointed. Our luck was that we were allowed to stay at the Steigenberger. Pool & Food etc. A short counter-sign of a ticket and my holiday was saved. The food was absolutely great. The ambiance was pleasant. No intrusiveness by employees or people who want to sell animation. We only went back to sleep in the evening. I never felt like I was a guest from a different hotel. Four stars since I didn't have a room. The four correspond to almost five for what we have taken advantage of. We decided to come back to the site next year, God willing. But then to the Steigenberger. Let's stay healthy!

Amazing place, fantastic lagoon view, helpful staff, varied food and delicious taste.

Good price — performance ratio, but not a steigenberger level. At the second layer for dinner, no ingredients are available 40 minutes before the end. This was communicated to the blonde lady of the guest care, who took it rather disinterested, with the notice to forward it accordingly.
Otherwise, room request was fulfilled to the fullest satisfaction.

Very helpful staff. Very well maintained. Will definitely come back. Unfortunately only in April but I very much like to come back.

Not quite what one promises from a Steigenberger hotel. The rooms are large and clean. The choice of food is could be bigger what you have offered was tastefully good. The pool is small and cold. Also the quiet pool. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful. This experience I made in October 2017

Our last hours in this beautiful hotel have arrived. Highly recommended. Beautiful complex located directly on the lagune. The people are very nice whether it is the gardener in the morning who beckons when you stand on the balcony or the servive forces in the restaurant/pool/ beach. The food is varied and delicious. I take my hat off to all those who have made our holiday a unique experience. Also a huge thank you and great respect for those who act in the background and who you don't see as a guest. Also worth mentioning is the spa recreation pure at the best prices. The conclusion continues as you have been since peak. We will come back and will highly recommend you. See you.

Great place Great hotel! Compared to the neighboring hotels much better food. Unfortunately the pools are cold (October) and in particular the cozy water bar at the second pool is not usable because you are sitting in the water after a short time freezes. For stretch swimmers of course no problem. It is a pity that the abundant solar energy is not used for heating.

Were the first time in Egypt and were very impressed, very neat and clean hotel, staff super friendly and nice. Eat something for everyone. Come back with certainty. The staff were very helpful. A very nice holiday, highly recommended!

The worst service. They make up rules to extra charge you. I really didn't enjoy my stay there. Towel cards got stolen from our room by their house keeping. Then they want to charge us for it! Made us pay for an extra bed while we paid for a family room that takes up to 4. But they always know how to twist facts so that its your problem not theirs! The employees are not friendly always treating us like we are not welcomed! In our own hotel! Totally dont recommend it. Its also far away from the marina. Any other 3 stars boutique hotel in gouna is much much better than steigenberger in my opinion.

The place is vast and amazing, everything is good, the stuff is friendly and helpful Near the marina and downtown Has 4 pools plus acces to paradisio beach and hotel's beach Clean.

I haven't tried their food but its certainly one of the better ones in Gouna.

It is a really wonderful hotel with excellent quality. It is highly recommended for everybody who requires the highest standard and circumstances.

I stayed here last October and had a fabulous relaxing holiday. The hotel is outstanding along with the food. I'm seriously thinking of booking again this October.

The staffs are super friendly. The buffet dinner are awesome. Nice view. Spacious hotel room. Quite and relax. However, the inter communication between the booking team and the front desk team should be improved. During my trip of visit, the front desk reception however couldn't find my booking info as I had booked the room few months earlier before my visit. This had cause me and my partner to wait for the front desk team to check with the booking team before we can proceed with our check in which took more than 30 mins. This is the one of the point which I deduct from my 5 stars rate to the hotel. Other than this issue, everything's perfect! Had a really relaxing 3D2N stay.

A very nice hotel and a perfect coaching.

Hotel is being run as a hotel not a bed and breakfast like most of the hotels in the country. Clientele are to my standard and the food was amazing. Well done Steigenberger.

In advance, I write don't like negative reviews. Therefore only the positives: great staff, extremely helpful and friendly. Eat well, it lacked absolutely nothing! The negatives and that is unfortunately too extreme to hide it: the entire hotel is urgently needed a renovation, it is simply most disintegrate. There are walkways or in each room. About hinaus… das topic cleanliness here is quite clearly not the bio of no. 1! Children's chairs in the restaurant are so dirty that one finds food of the last few days and weeks it. This is disgusting and harmful to the health. I'm sorry, but what is the best staff if basic things do not fit. We will revisit the hotel.

My wife says she was 6 times in Egypt, and 5 of them in the wrong place. I was unfortunately up to now only 2 times in Egypt, but only one time in the wrong place. We will go again definitely Steigenberger golf resort in that! We have felt just at home!
