Hostels in Cairo GovernorateHostel

“My stay at Sol Pyramids Inn was excellent. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and has a perfect location near the Pyramids. The staff are friendly and helpful.

This charming Egyptian inn offers a peaceful and authentic stay with a breathtaking view of the pyramids in the distance.

Very nice clean place with a beautiful and cosy living with a view. Ibrahim and Youssif and all the staff were great and very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and abundant.

This place is very good and yousaf so good man.
Lovely.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The place is incredibly cozy, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away.

My rooms were both clean and have balconies with nice views of the city. The hostel is in a great location. Although the elevator sometimes malfunctioned it was remedied as soon as possible.

For this price completely ok, the team is very friendly. Me and my friends really liked it! You can also get to know many travelers around the world.

What a great hotel and what an amazing stuff.

This place is well located on one hand on the other, next to a main road, which can make the room noisy, depending which side you get. Ours was, but fortunately, we have a good sleep.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent stay.
Great experience at Heritage Hostel. Nour was extremely kind, flexible, and always helpful. Khaled accelerated our early check-in when we arrived in the morning.

The staffs in the hostel are amazing and friendly. They will help you with anything you need. I highly recommend this hostel.
Thanks to Dud’, Luly and Lamia’

Great location and great staff. I stayed there with my wife and we absolutely loved the place. It's close to a lot of restaurants and subway as well. The museum is walking distance.

This was a beautiful hotel very clean the beds are so comfortable. Ac unit is great and refrigerator works wonderful. Mustafa was amazing he helped us so much!

Good location. Very clean. Good price. GREAT staff! I recommend. And also they offer breakfast but added to room payment.

The staff are terrific and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The hostel is in an old building, but it adds character to the stay.

The friendliest staff you can find! They are so attentive and caring, always up for a chat and some about the area.

I stayed here for several days, and honestly, it felt like a second home. The place is clean, well-organized, and super handy in every way. The staff are genuinely friendly.
You never feel alone here.

Wonderful and peaceful hostel right in the heart of Cairo At Tahir Square. Very silent inspite of traffic in the area. Walking distance to Egypt museum.

It's a good budget option with a great location.

Great place to stay in Cairo! The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Egyptian Museum.

A good experience overall, nice rooms, nice staff specially Noor, he has been delivering wonderful meals with respectful attitude, and the wonderful receptionist Dina was helping us all the time,

Compared to most in the neighborhood and for the view and the quiet… I think this hotel shows well. The staff did everything they could to make us feel at home.

Castle Hotel is well managed by pleasant and efficient staff.
We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Absolutely no grievances. They have thought of every little comfort that makes a guest happy.

Castle hostel is very good value for money and is on a good location for buses/trains.

Couldn’t get a better location in the heart of the main city downtown Cairo.
The atmosphere was tops, the staff was fantastic they couldn’t be more helpful and made us feel part of them.

Great location in the middle of city. Great personnel, value of money, it is hostal and not a hotel!

The breakfast was good, the people were very friendly and welcoming and the room was clean!

We had the best time here, perfect location to explore old cairo, the room was clean, and each day a different kind of breakfast was delivered to our door at our requested time.

A fantastic 3-night stay! The hotel is safe, clean, and very welcoming. Mido was exceptionally helpful and went out of his way to ensure I had a great visit. I felt very comfortable here as a guest.

I enjoyed my stay here! I think the property is reasonably priced for the quality of the stay. The rooms are clean, hot water is reliable.

Had a really nice stay here 🤍 The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere felt safe and cozy, and everything was clean and comfortable. I met lovely people and enjoyed my time a lot.

An absolute gem in Australia! I keep coming back to this hostel because of the incredible hospitality and the great facilities.

1st stay was in May 2025. +1 year later, still a no-brainer whenever I'm in Cairo.
Cosy, comfy, clean, air-conditioned rooms at a great price & people are incredibly welcoming!

I was a bit overwhelmed when I first arrived on the street, but after getting to the third floor and the reception realized it was nicer than the rest of the area.

Freedom hostel is a great place to stay in Cairo, friendly staff (shout out to Islam and the ladies working there), comfy beds, quiet, chill atmosphere, good breakfast, covert close to the many

I loved everything about my stay here! the hostel is well maintained, the beds are clean and comfy, the breakfast is amazing and everyone is very kind!

Staff like Awab, Ali and Yousef were so helpful, polite and chill with amazing personality. Very friendly atmosphere. Everything was great. I will miss you guys! Hope to see you one day again.

Pros: the biggest pro are the staff, both Yusef and Aly are amazing and the light of the place. They are always there to have a chat, help you out and give great recommendations.

During our Egypt travels we stayed in WakeUp twice and enjoyed it both of the times.
We booked through Agoda with a discount (10€/night for double room).

5/5 for the price, the location, in the hospitality. I had some miscommunication issues with my tour guides and the lovely staff helped me to fix everything and get it straightened out.

Fabulous experience in 5 stars hotel best service in egypt best stuff best price.

The best hotel in giza amazing experience highly recommended 100.100

Close to everything. Great hosts and colorful. The rooms are good not 3 star but great for a cheap holiday.

Been going there for years with my husband. Great people.

I stayed for more than 1 month in this hostel and the service was great, amazing location and the stuff there was professional and helpful.

Aww what a lovely room with a balcony spacious nice and clean and sherif on reception so helpful and polite.

Salah was a great manager and we had a nice welcome and our own room with ac. Nahed was always so friendly making sure everything was clean and brought breakfast to our room.

Under the circumstances of being in downtown Cairo, I think it was the best choice for us. It was clean and the room was okey.

Fantastic hotel! Really gorgeous and the view is amazing! Lots of space! Highly recommend to stay here! You won't be disapointed!

My stay at Nile X Hostel was exceptional. Huge thanks to Kareem and Mo Saleh for their fantastic hospitality—they truly made my trip memorable.
