Osiris Hotel Cairo

The perfect place to start our trip to Egypt and to get to know Cairo. Nabil and his team were very helpful and kind, always giving us good advice. The room was clean and tidy. Very good value for money, especially for the location that allows you to explore every area of Cairo quite easily! Would recommend!

This hotel was really nice. They were really helpful, even upgraded our room, the location is fine, easy to get an uber around. It feels safe. It is on the 12th floor so it is relatively calm. The price is really nice. It is very clean and comfortable.

All the staff are very kind and attentive. They helped us a lot, since we needed a last-minute room and luckily we were able to check in early. Highly recommended! They also have a gorgeous terrace.

A recent stay at the Osiris Hotel in Cairo left us with a strong impression, particularly regarding its interior charm and culinary offerings. The moment you step inside, the ambiance is truly captivating. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, a perfect escape from the bustling city outside. The lobby, adorned with intricate Egyptian-inspired decor and soft, warm lighting, immediately transported us. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into creating a space that feels both elegant and comfortable, offering a serene and visually stunning retreat.
The dining experience was another major highlight. The food was not only incredibly tasty, but the portions were also notably generous. We enjoyed a variety of local Egyptian dishes and international fare, each bursting with authentic flavor and made with fresh ingredients. It felt like a true feast, with each dish prepared with care, showcasing the culinary talent on display.
However, our first impression of the building itself was a bit jarring. While the inside was delightful, the entrance was unfortunately not up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel. The street-level facade was unassuming and easy to miss, and it didn't hint at the beautiful interior that lay beyond. It's a small detail, but one that initially gave us pause before we discovered the hidden gem within. Overall, the Osiris Hotel is a wonderful place to stay for its beautiful interior and delicious food.

Pretty cheap / Great value for your money. Very clean, Very good service and friendly staff. Pretty quiet and you barely hear any noise from the city. Nice view from the roof during night.

The bathroom was dirty and there was no daily room service routine. The elevator was in a bad condition and dirty condition with elevator door windows. I would definitely not recommend anyone staying at this hotel for a vacation to Cairo Egypt.

We stayed at Osiris for 5 nights, and we were pleasantly surprised. It is still a budget hotel, so don’t expect anything too fancy, but we got everything we wanted and for a good price: a quiet hotel, a fridge to keep our water and snacks cool in the room, helpful service (+ cheap&fast laundry service), and located in Downtown (though I still recommend taking an Uber to get to places even nearby cos of the dense traffic pollution). Ordered food at the terrace restaurant and food was good too. Bed was comfy. Bathroom had good water pressure. I understand now why this hotel ranks 1st for budget hotels in downtown.
Also if you see other reviews some people mentioned a scary elevator — but it’s not that scary (it’s not like you can fall out! ) so don’t worry. Feel very appreciative to all the kind members of staff who attended to us.

The elevator is terrifying, tiny with no doors. The rooms are shabby, everything felt tired and grimy. The room had a weird smell and the breakfast looked underwhelming.
The location and price were great, but I would have gladly spent more money to be anywhere else.

Lovely hotel on 12th floor with a beautiful view. Room reasonable size. Bed very comfortable shower room clean and good size. Clean rooms every breakfast very simple. We had a group of 9 people 3 in one room and all of us very happy to stay.

This is a good basic budget friendly hotel in the middle of the bustling streets of Cairo BUT as it is located on the top floor it is quiet which is great. Lovely roof terrace and super warm welcoming staff! It is 2 star so dont expect extras such as tea making facilities in the room but you are only sleeping there so who cares. We were a couple but there were actually 2 beds which was heaven and they were very comfortable. Great sleeps! Thankyou Osiris Hotel.

Lovely friendly welcoming staff! The rooftop Cafe is a wonderful escape from the chaos below and to listen to the call to prayer. It is indeed a 2 star hotel so dont expect tea making facilities etc but the beds are super comfy and it's nice and quiet at night. You can have your room cleaned daily with fresh towels etc. Plenty of places in the area to grab what you need. Thankyou Osiris Hotel.

Price-value ratio is good.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The location is perfect.
The first night I was crying from the condition of the room So dirty. The water was not going to the drainage but all over the bathroom. Plus there was an animal. (Check out the pictures). The water from the sprinkler was going everywhere but on you. Outside there were 4-5 AC blocks. Very noisy. No soundproof. Dirty.
Next morning we changed the room. It was way better. So, make sure to have a big window.
Breakfast was very poor for two days. On the third one they gave us a better variety.

I recently stayed at this location and it was the most wonderful experience. The hotel is a little further away than the hustle and bustle of Cairo but by only a few minutes more but ever so worth it for the quietness. The staff are simply amazing and very caring in their hospitality. The rooftop terrace is a such a great escape and I especially liked the chirp of the birds. The hotel recommended Angie as a guide and she was such a joy to learn from when touring the pyramids. This is simply a great hotel to stay at and a chance to experience a more local flavor to Cairo. I highly recommend this place.
