The unpleased guest, First of all: I am writing out of the experience of an AIESEC intern/volunteer. The one star is only for the experience of the most aiesec interns. Don't believe the pictures this website shows to you. It's true they have nice rooms like this with an AC, cupboards, a fridge and a bathroom in the room. But u as a normal intern are not worth enough to get any of these. I have seen rooms which didn't even have a fan, AC? What do you dream of? The matresses have molds and my skin startet itching and peeling after a few nights on it. I asked several times for a new one, nearly a week nothing happened. The bathrooms down the hall are super dirrty, one doesnt even have a light, the other ones you can not lock from inside which doesn't make you feel save as a woman. Warm water? Another dream that you have to get rid of very soon! To be honest the guys rooms are the worst. 5-6 boys in a small room so that you can not walk 2 steps, you can't even open a suitcase on the floor. They slept with the suitcases on their beds. If you want to change anything they ask you to just pay a good room even if aiesec is responsible for a proper accomodation. The kitchen has nearly nothing and you can only use the fridge if you are in the better “invitation hotel“. Advice: If your ep manager of aiesec tells you that you will stay here, try to negociate a room in Dahab hostel. It's way better!
