I attended a conference in the hotel the meeting room was perfect with an amazing view overlooking at the Baron palace, the staff were friendly and professional as well moreover the lunch taste and quality were perfect at the end and on behalf of the British university in Egypt I would like to thank Baron heliopolis staff for the great hospitality and service, you made difference.

The management in this hotel lacks any kind of common sense. Since 8 in the morning I woke up on a lot of noise from workers digging and doing work that can't by any means start that early.
In addition they always lack control over house keeping; you already receive your room dirty.
I had to stay here a lot of times recently since it is the most close to my work, yet I will choose a distant hotel but respect myself.

Great location and friendly staff.

Although it’s not in a tourist area it’s a great place if you’re there in business with the rooms being of a reasonable size and well serviced. Our only complaint was that there was no pool.

Great location, pathetic staff and worst service. The only reason why I stay here is because of the location and the ease of finding good food joints in the vicinity. This was my 2nd time staying here, not that the 1st was any better, but this one was worse experience. The internal aur conditioning system is insufficient to heat up the room during winters. I asked for a heater 4 times and it never arrived. They couldn't even provide us with a iron and a ironing board. The basin leaks in the main bathroom in 501, which by the way is a suite! The breakfast isn't that great either. The rooms look shabby though are clean for a short stay. I have looked for an alternative for the next visit. My colleague who stayed in 401 asked for a bottle of water and they couldn't deliver to the room so he went to the reception asking for it and the guy pronounced the price of the bottle and made face at him. That was the breaking point and he had fight with the staff. Really really bad place if your coming on a business or a vacation trip, seriously avoid. Keep this as your last option.

The only plus with this hotel is the location, it is pretty close from the airport. The rooms are decent for a 3 star hotel. I was put into this hotel by a client I was doing business for and I have had very bad experiences. The Wi-Fi keeps rebooting after every 20-35 minutes, hotel staff was informed about this but they haven't done anything in my 3 days of stay. I purchased Etisalat and Vodafone SIM cards, both didn't have good range in this hotel, so couldn't get a good internet connection. If internet is important to you then this in not the place for sure. Room service is decent but they do not have the staff round the clock that understands English well. The food menu doesn't have many varieties but there are restaurants in the area with delivery options.

The best thing about the hotel is the free airport transport. You save at least 100 Egyptian pounds one way. Given the high traffic situation in Cairo this is in between the Airport and the City Center. But the worst part is that almost none of the staff speak proper English. Poor quality of the rooms coupled with issues like waiting for around 10 mins at the reception everyday to get the room key activated… sending a request multiple times… does make you feel to look for better alternatives.

Nice hotel. Beautiful Hall. There is everything you need in the room. Clean enough. Of the minuses-rosettes only two and in a very uncomfortable place, the towel is clean, but visible nevystirannye stains.

Worse Hotel. Dirty and old. Service horrible. Very disappointed. Had to check out early and stay elsewhere my last stay. Letting the receptionist know I'm not happy. He didn't even apologies for the disappointment.

The hotel is one night that would take a break on arrival in Cairo, and in the morning to go to Cairo tours.

This hotel is very old and not upgraded with the time. Their service level is very bad and not recommended for stay. Only good thing about this hotel is the taste of food.

A hotel with good service. I stayed here for two weeks and in the last day I found 3 cockroaches in my room. I had to ask 3 times to clean my room which was really annoying. The breakfast was great and they changed somethings from time to time. You can get a fresh made omelette and enjoy a huge buffet.

Very well located, hotel was clean overall, room was clean too, bathroom needed updating. Wi-Fi was extremely poor, besides that the hotel was value for money.

The food was simple and not variable, the room was spacious enough, cleanliness was good, service was good too, shuttle bus was punctual.

Very poor level of house keeping and cleaning, almost everything is dirty and the path rooms are disasters, house keeping is another disaster, the hotel in general became very very bad.

The waiter stole my 100 dollars when they entered my room and the hotel ignored it. She took 100 dollars from the money I put in the safe. She thought I couldn't see it. I'm not going to use the hotel's safe anymore … I don't have any more.

Clean place, staff tries to be helpful,,, reception guys do their best to help as well… But I just cant understand their policies and regulations! If someone books a double room, so its normal and it is a right to receive a guest, while it is impossible at this hotel! Security guards play it tough! Disappointing strategy to deal with foreigners…

Budget hotel, best to book this hotel online. Good for short stay. Their buffet spread does not change through out the week. There is a big tariff difference between Egyptians and other foreign national. Provides airport pick up and drop. They also organize taxes for local sight seeing.

Awonderful place high rated hotel! Love it Just hoping make more offers in price a little bit high. But I enjoy it.

Old, kindof tired hotel with (mostly) friendly, helpfull staff. Clean room, great view and super value for money in a great area.

Hotel has a great location and all basic requirements with a reasonable prices.

Hotel is suited in a nice place, however is too old furniture and no facilities, even is to pricy compared to value and near hotels, mostly nice for short business trip, don't recommend it for families.

It was satisfied. Staff, service, food and room were all good. The bar was great specifically the bartender, he was fabulous, he made special cocktail just for us. I want to thank him a lot. The only issue was that. There is no smoking at the restaurant, but there some guests were already smoking and when we asked about that we've been told that they are vip guests and they can do whatever they want!

Nice hotel, clean, excellent area, great and polite staff I really enjoyed.

Though concerned, the staff was very accommodating of my MCS. They took me up to the room to confirm if there was any issue with using Detol to disinfect to sheets. I didn't smell any residue. The breakfast staff was helpful in determining what was vegan and what wasn't. Had a nice view of the palace across the street, though, in a recessed part of the building. Only issues I and my GF had was that: 1. Our key cards for the room kept inexplicably stop working. This was easily fixed by going to reception, but was annoying. 2. Our room was pretty shielded, so cell data wasn't coming through, and their high speed Wi-Fi was soooooooo sloooooooow. 3. The refrigerator was plugged into an outlet that powered up only if the foyer light was on. This pissed me of the most. When I sleep or I leave my room, I don't expect the stuff I put in the fridge to not stay cold. I couldn't move the fridge to another outlet as there was none close enough.

Nice and polite staff, clean rooms, good restaurants nice view on baron palace.

I was very happy with my stay here. The room was clean, the bed was good. The breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

I booked this hotel for convenience to the airport, free shuttle, value for money and the quality 4 star rating.
The car that was CONFIRMED to pick me up never came, the hotel refused to reimburse me for the cost of the taxi and tried to shift the blame to me. I requested a room upgrade and they did comply but the room is a shoebox corner room and the Aircon hardly works. It does have a good view though.
I found the reception staff surly and think the room (310) is shabby. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and the carpet is tattered and stained.
All in all only the price of $50 USD (no meals) was what was expected. But I don't see any better options for this location.

THe hotel is well placed in the city … rooms comfortable and clean and the staff very helpful … only one problem for me no milk with coffee and tea making facilities. But I had a fridge so got my own … breakfast was lovely … plenty of choice. Freshly made omelettes and fresh fruit and everything else.

Never stayed there, but the bakery makes the best Mille Feuille with sugar and fresh cream in town. Order it in advance so it's freshly made and the pastry stays crispy! ;)

A luxury hotel a bit old but beautiful delivery for a decent price (affordable: €60). The bar is very nice. However very far from City Center.

A 4star hotel in the heart of the city. Had a wonderful n comfortable stay. No Wi-Fi in rooms, u hv to pay extra for it.

Although not a superior place, in terms of facilities and luxury, the service quality is very good.

The worst experience ever. Dirty rooms, old furniture, noisy.

Old cracked rooms n no facilities, not any close to a fair hotel.
