I trusted the reviews about Pyramisa Suites Hotel Cairo and did not think that in a five-star hotel you should hide valuables!
A group of 40 people arrived with 31.10, 2020 to 04.11.2020, every day excursions from morning to evening all days.
The day before departure, after the tour found a passport on the floor near the suitcase, money in the suitcase was not — stole 200 dollars! We turned to the reception, three hotel employees searched our room completely, turned over all the things, moved the bed, lifted the mattresses.
Turned over my friend's stuff, her personal money, tried to pass off for my missing. The next day, the hotel's general manager reported that none of the hotel staff had confessed to stealing money from room 644 and accused them of spending the money themselves.  
People, be careful when choosing a hotel, here steal money from suitcases! Here are five stars ( (
It's good to have a local holiday in this hotel! At the first cleaning of the room did not put towels for the face, on the third day put one for two with a friend. Friends in the next room had to wait two hours for toilet paper after a request on the phone at the reception, spare roll do not leave.  For local holidaymakers at breakfast from under the table offer additional ingredients for scrambled eggs, the rest of the tourists they are not available. The experience of the service as a whole is terrible!

Although rated 5 star… its a disgusting place door locks dont work, dirty rooms, unclean and stinky and to top it all broken furniture. Unbelievable what a waste of money.

We stayed there in October 2019, the location is good and the suites are huge, as is the breakfast buffet which was excellent but busy. The bar was fun at nighttime with singers and the pasta station was tasty and fast.
The massage I booked was not really so good though.
The manager and assistant manager were both women and extremely helpful, and very friendly they looked after us and I would definitely go back, its not 5* but for the price its great.

Used to be affiliated with a previous employer. They are very helpful with price packages for corporates, and very quick abd professional in terms of reception and so. Conference halls are quite nice as well. Being in dokki makes it very uneasy to park or reach destination on time. Always pack a few extra minutes on your way.

Great location at the downtown of the great Cairo — capital of EGYPT — and have beautiful & warm atmosphere with a big helpful staff. There is four floors have been renewed with the newest gadgets and have many deluxe suites and rooms.

Suppose to be a 5 star hotel but its no stars hotel, 2 floors which are 5 stars reserved for rich arabs you cant get a room on these floors Please be aware don't ever stay here awful hotel, most management staff are liars they are aggressive and intimidating I would rate this hotel zero if I could. Awful time I had to endure here worst place ever the room was smelly and carpets were dirty awful customer service Stay at your own risk and don't believe what the Manager tells you.

We read the reviews before staying here and some of the complaints seemed harsh so we thought we’d give it a try — after all it is a 5 Star hotel so cant be that bad. It’s more like a 3 Star hotel for Americans. It was dirty and the shower sprayed water everywhere. The pool is only open from 10am-sunset which is usually around 6pm and was busy all the time it was open. The service was ok. It took 24 hours of me asking multiple people for a new towel after soaking one of them in the shower water that spayed everywhere. The bed was hard, but the room had great A/C and the pillows were comfy so we slept very well. Egyptians are always partying and there was always loud music playing in the lounge that could be heard in our room from sunset until 8am when we left our hotel. Fortunately we were too tired to really care and still slept great. The breakfast has a lot of choices — a few hot dishes like sausage a few other meats. They have a variety of breakfast pastries, yogurt, meats and cheeses, and will make a fresh omelet for you if you’d like. There was also Arabic coffee and tea served every morning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but probably will not be staying again on our next trip. If you have an event, it seemed like a very popular place to have weddings.

For a five star hotel, I cannot believe they serve only English breakfast and crescent for breakfast. The building is elegant and overall very clean. The location is also very close to downtown.

Like any Egyptians — not particularly well-groomed and clean, and the basement — it's just a sight!

Great location near Old Cairo and tourist attractions. The conference rooms had everything needed and staff was very accommodating in making sure all went smoothly. Staff were friendly and made sure the group was taken care of. Rooms were nicer than average with clean space and ample room.

Horrible Place, I resume just by saying that I could not take nor shower my children. The condition of the rooms was catastrophic. Its felt moisture the moist, the condition of the carpet just not possible to set foot in it. The bathroom so in an unsanitary condition that I thought it was wrong hotel. I have made pictures and video to illustrate it reel state of the hotel.
The staff very nice and very attentive because asking to change the room horrible it was raised in the immediate.
We arrived late at night around 5:00 in the morning as airplane delay, so we just wanted to sleep, the sheets felt the dodo of other people otherwise said it was not changed… I reiterate my shock of the state of horrible sanitation that we could not even use them.
Supposedly pool, the water was dirty and the greenish background. The lifts that date from 1800 AJ, you don't even feel safe using them. I just blame the management of the hotel as they deceive people by putting 5 * just have to put the real photos and 1 or 2 * to the max.

Breakfast menu is static and does not offer wide selection. We had the same fruit last 3 days which was just melon and nothing esle. The rooms need regeneration as locks don't work, Drain blocked, walls need painting carpets need a clean. We switched 3 rooms to get on e that was just ok. Staff helpful but rooms let the business down.

This company has great potential but I think the management and ownership is very poor. The water cutoff in the hotel so I left, and booked another place. They refunded me remaining days with no problem. My main complaints are of the building seems like it’s aging and not well maintained — both electricity and water cutoff during my stay. The employees and staff are great but it’s clear the owners are in la la land and don’t know how to up keep their assets. My wife and I also bought a brand new flat built by the same pyramisa group, within months plumbing in the entire compound began to fail. Their company is a disaster, I highly recommend you stay away from this hotel or any pyramisa products. Save your hard earned money and spend it with a company that deserves your business.

It's the worst hotel you can imagine.

It is a hotel with good infrastructure that requires some good size renovations room good restaurant good care beds and pillows to improve.

Satisfactory to good. Modern building. Starting to show its age (1970s? ) but perfectly acceptable. Rooms clean. Slightly finicky Wi-Fi but free in rooms. Good breakfast. Secure. Good location.

Really nice, I recommend it for anyone who wants to visit all areas of Cairo. It offers many quality entertainment and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

For Egypt, an acceptable hotel.

Location of the hotel is among the best, across the main road from Cairo Sheraton. The hotel is spacious and includes a number of suites, but lacks the personal touch it had always missed, even before its renovation. F&B is on the unsatisfactory side, lacking character and gusto. Makes your stay longing for more!

Its old rooms, should invest in beds, mattresses, pillows and the most important lingerie, shame the quality of this being a 5 star hotel and counting on cotton and Egyptian silk.

Good Hotel but? Restaurant service is very poor. We had half board and Just one dish served to everyone all night long. Gets cold and hard very soon. Breakfast is good service. The tourist operator stationed at the hotel is rip off expensive and the tours end up being rubbish and rip off against promise. Your drivers soon take you off tour to shopping traps where they earn further commissions. Book your excursions independently or catch taxi to sites. Avoid normal taxis at rip off prices and instead use Uber cars.

Worst service ever! Rooms keys hardly work even when reactivated. Reception staff never been helpful to solve the problem. On the contrary they keep pointing that it is the gust's mistake although they know well it is the hotel's no maintenance. Although the room was paid full for 7 nights in advance, they weren't keen by all means to tell the truth nor help having a comfortable stay and finally after 4 nights of suffer they changed the room for me. I travel a lot around the world for so many years and even used several hotels in Egypt, but I never experienced such uncomfortable stay! It is never worth the money, Egypt has too many better hotels than this one! It is a never 5 Stars hotel … I wouldn't give it more than TWO STARS!

The rates is cheap compared to other Hotels The rooms are clean and couzy. The breakfast is very good. The nile view is amazing one of the best and the side view is also good you can still see a part of the nile, I did not like the pool view though, it was dark and noisy.

I am in the hotel now, have been suffering all day and been late for the event I am attending because every time I use the key it does not work and I have to go to the reception and they are not even considerate enough to fix it the first time, I have to go up and down several times. Right now, I have been standing in front of my room for more than 20 minutes. I phoned them because after a long working day I'm tired. They said they are going to send someone and uptil now they have not. I will file a complaint to the institution that booked us here. Very upsetting.

Definitely not a 5-Star Hotel but at most 4 star hotel for western standards.

Nice place, nice food and nice staff, near downtown and touristic place in Cairo and Giza. lacks free Wi-Fi and parking is expensive.

The hotel is nicely located, it's convenient with easy access to Cairo city centre with wide range of options To Restaurants and shops. You can also enjoy a nice walk along the Nile. The itself is equipped with all usual facilities of three/four stars hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful.

This place was so wonderful, the staff made me feel like family. The food was great and had all types of cuisines from all over and was reasonably priced. The bed was comfortable and it is walking distance to everything! I would stay here again and again.

Just nice lobby after that bad rooms, furniture all thing looks so old there is no upgrading to any thing in the room.

Quiet hotel near the Russian Embassy and the Nile. Carpets, gold, nice furniture in the cafes. Chic rooms! 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a spacious living room. The atmosphere was brilliant for the 90s — now somewhat outdated. Breakfast is normal, but baking really a lot. In General — when the hotel need a one-night — a very good choice! You can and to take a shower, nobody is forcing wait and sleep after a bus.
