The place is very nice and kid friendly with adequate green space to enjoy or the kids to play around.
There is a variety of food in the menu and the food is delicious.
Rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. However, there is no entertainment in the room as the TVs are not smart and there is no Wi-Fi.

The staff was nice but 0 English.
The beds were not ready when we came in we had to ask them to do it. There was no hot water. Had to ask twice about it. Breakfast choices were very poor. Everything was an extra. Had to call the manager to talk about it after paying almost 300 dollars for 2 rooms for 1 night we were expecting a proper breakfast included as mentioned when we booked it. Our cheapest guesthouses during our trip in Egypt were better in terms of service. Very sad to end up our trip on this bad experience while we were looking for a relaxing experience: (.

The chalets are nice for a family or group of friends. They are clean, picturesque and cozy. Beds were comfortable too. In early October.
The restaurant was not good for breakfast and was good for lunch or dinner.
The settings on the garden are really nice. Many areas to use. Private distances. There are also the option of grilling with friends which was really nice. We brought our own stuff to grill and complimented the rest with side dishes from the restaurant and it was really nice and private.
The place is lovely.

The Resort is located at the heart of Tunis Village in Fayoum… 2 hours drive from cairo. It consists of rooms and small chalets… the food variety is limited. However, it is all oriental and you must order a day prior, Parking area is not very big so you must come early… and all of your transportation will be via toktok, Evelyn St. Is a walking distance from the resort full of souvenirs and pottery workshops as well as mini markets. Just make sure to carry cash as sometime POS does not work and you can bargain as well. Weather is great in the morning and cold at night.

Such a fantastic resort! My family and I stayed at Palm Shadow and we had an amazing time. The staff was very hospitable and took great care of us. We would like to give a special thank you to Mr Mustafa for his spectacular customer service and for going above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensuring we have a comfortable and relaxing stay. Definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Fayoum, lovely village and lovely people!

This is an excellent place where you experience the rural life of Egypt in the past century: great food, friendly staff, handmade pottery workshops, marvelous safari trip to The Valley of the whales which dates back to 35 million years ago!

A big ‘thank you’ to the entire staff at Palm Shadow Resort. The restaurant manager and team were wonderful with their service and quality of food. We really loved their lentil soup and falafel. The hotel manager and staff were very accommodating and helped us with things we needed, including booking and arranging a trip to Valley of the Whales. We will return someday 🙏Highly recommended if you stay in Fayoum.

Wow! Was a great experience. The staff were the best. I have to specifically mention Naseem, the best coordinator ever! She was so helpful and organized. She set us a memorable program! All other staff members were, in fact, friendly and welcoming, always polite and smiling. The resort is clean and beautiful. Food is delicious. Definitely will be coming back:)
