Margarita and her team are exceptional. Welcoming. Attentive. Informative. The location is excellent. The open restaurant looks into the jungle with large numbers of colourful birds.

This review has been a long time coming. Visited in February this year and had an amazing time.

The experience exceeded expectations. The property is beautiful. It does matter which room you get. We were lucky to have a room at the top section of the property that was far enough from neighbors.

This place is way beyond perfect. Location, Food, Service, Views, Grounds, Amenities, etc… My family of four came here and enjoyed ziplining and a large swing over the river (included).

Fantastic place. Accommodation is excellent. Grounds and trails are well kept. Saw the Long-wattled Umbrellabird up close plus many other species. Food is really good. Highly recommended.

We had an incredible stay at Zafiro, hosted by Denys and Mario. The place was immaculate, with an exceptional level of cleanliness.

The food, ambiance and service were incredible. I had the trout with mushroom sauce and my friend had the sirloin steak. Highly recommended! We sat at the table facing the river.

We spent 2 nights at Hostería los Cedros de Mindo in mid-June 2023. We enjoyed the quiet and peace of the facility.

A stunning property with exceptional birding opportunities. Very calm, quiet location with easy access to town by cab.

We had a great stay, we stayed 7 days. I would recommend 4, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The bird watching is amazing German feeds them several times a day.

Incredible place for a stay! You really feel like you're sleeping in the rainforest. They even have bird feeders so you can watch the birds in bed!

Excellent, good value stay. Location is great near the town centre and also near hummingbird place. Room includes a stove so can cook basic meals. Hot shower. Good Wi-Fi. Would stay again.

A very pleasant and romantic place just a couple of blocks away from the city center. We chose the room with the river view as it was very large. Breakfast is complimentary, freshly made.

We had the opportunity to celebrate Pentecost with my community in the inn, very friendly everyone.

Had an enjoyable two night stay here. Ate in the hotel one night which was an enjoyable meal. Breakfast was basic but did the job.

Personally, I love these sorts of places, ie a hotel that is immersed in and at one with nature.

This place is a dream come true. Words can’t express the beauty of the view from every angle. What further elevates is the detail and set up of the home itself.
