Mindo VillasVilla

My son and I were on a self-guided birding tour of Ecuador. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We birded much of the Mindo area, but not onsite.

Wonderful place to stay and relax when in mindo area. A great place to begin your day, breakfast was incredible. The top floor above the reception/dining area is great for early morning birding.

My family & I enjoyed a lovely meal here! Friendly staff & delicious thin crust pizza!

We had dinner here and it was absolutely lovely! Everyone was super friendly, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the pizza it was so tasty! The crust was absolutely amazing!

We had the pleasure of staying at Subtropica for one night, and really wish we could have stayed longer.

We spent there 4 nights while in Mindo. Suites are clean and spacious. Staff is extremly kind and helpful. Can reccomend to any traveler.

Thoroughly enjoyed our large family stay at the EcoChalet in Mindo — so much to see and do in this fabulously located ecotourism spot in Ecuador.

Absolutely beautiful place to vacation in Mindo cloud forest! Our host Dominique was very kind and helped booked our taxis and excursions for our stay in Ecuador!
