Just one night here and loved the place; great food, great jazucci after a full morning of walking and bird-watching. The 'rosti suizo' breakfast, with coffee and mango juice hit the spot.

We stayed at ten different hotels/lodges/camps in Ecuador over three weeks, this lodge was our favorite! The lodge is outside the town in a quiet but lush area.

Truly phenomenal! Casa Davina puts all that mother nature has to offer at the center of guests' stay.

We had the pleasure of staying at Subtropica for one night, and really wish we could have stayed longer.

We spent there 4 nights while in Mindo. Suites are clean and spacious. Staff is extremly kind and helpful. Can reccomend to any traveler.

This is located in the Ecuadorean cloud forest near Mindo. The rooms are good, comfortable, and the staff friendly.

Fantastic place. Accommodation is excellent. Grounds and trails are well kept. Saw the Long-wattled Umbrellabird up close plus many other species. Food is really good. Highly recommended.
