Great hotel. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily. The pool was awesome. The gardens were beautiful. We saw many birds and even a capybara! Great for kids and families. The breakfast was delicious. Good location close to town but away from the noise.
This place is a gem! The hosts were so kind and helpful. Always in communication for whatever you need. The lodge is a 12 minute walk to town, we were traveling with kids, ages 4 and 7 and they were able to walk into the town and back. The breakfast in the morning from 8:30-10 was delicious. The lodge is perfect if you want to relax, as it is by the river and you can hear it at night. We enjoyed our time here very much!

The family that run Mindo Real are so attentive and made our stay very comfortable. They truly went above and beyond!
We loved the huge breakfasts surrounded by the delightful garden with birds flitting everywhere. We loved the pool, hanging out in hammocks and wandering down to the river too.
The rooms are a teeny bit dated but comfy, surrounded by the forest so we could birdwatching from bed and with hot water. Everything is very clean.
It is only a 5 minute walk into the village and we saw toucans on the walk.
