WARNING ⚠️ BED BUGS.
We were there a couple of days ago and got bed bug bites. At first sight everything seemed clean. The 2 people working here were very kind. We had a huge problem with the shower and they helped us right away. The place is a normal hostel with only private rooms. The kitchen didn't have pots and they got some for us to cook.

Pros: the location was perfect, they will help organize all tours you need, free parking, great prices, very friendly, hammocks are a great way to relax.
Cons: the rooms are a little dated and not 100% clean, the lower part of my bed was collapsed in (but the bed in general was comfortable).
Suggestions to the hostal: add hummingbird feeders near the hammocks… it was nice watching them early in the morning for the flowers, but attracting more would be wonderful.

Great location in the main road just up from the Central Park. Fantastic hosts Henry & Marisol. Loved the free drinking water. Wi-Fi and electricity was off and on. Showers only lukewarm and no electricity meant no hit water. We came back from a long trek and only wanted a hot shower but couldn’t. Nice patio and raised platform out front. Ok for the price.
