Vicente and Victoria were helpful with transportation and staff's friendly.

Good location, Great and friendly staff, good breakfast, only problem I had was that the room had paper thin windows, you can hear the planes taking off, a-hole Germans speaking at night in the outside where the kitchen is located, you can also hear the front desk from the room. Owners where friendly and apologetic. Dont stay in the Zen room!

We stayed in Villa 64 for 5 days in the beginning of September. We absolutely love it. The girls who worked there are very helpful and breakfast is delicious. Too bad we never met the owners of the Villa 64 (they were on vacation). We just want to say that we had really good time there. Thank you so much for everything. The place is awesome. We highly recommend staying there.

It was easy to find and well located in a bit of a safer area of the city. The air conditioning worked well and they offered a lovely breakfast. The internet is only available in the main floor common area which is a little small.

This place would've been okay if there were not loads of hidden charges depending on what time you arrived. If you arrived anytime before 3pm you were hit with additional charges between $15 — $30 (even if you inform them ahead of time it doesn't matter). We paid for a matrimonial and we got twin beds instead. In response to this they said that they would put the two together. It was quite far from town (about half hour walk) in a nothing neighbourhood. On the plus side, laundry service provided, albeit expensive, and there was a computer and a courtyard to sit in and the shower was hot.

Great place to stay at Guayaquil. Family run new hostel. Friendly and clean. 20min walk from centre which makes it very quiet place to sleep while still enjoying the city. Run by a french/equadorian couple who are extremely helpful.

If you are passing through Guayaquil and need a safe and priceworthy place to stay Villa64 is for you. Clean and good size rooms. And no matter what you need help with the friendly staff is there for you. I would say that it works equally great for backpackers and business-travelers alike. After trying a lot of different places and classes of hostals/hotels in Guayaquil this is for sure my new go-to place when I am in town. 5+ stars for the service and friendlyness.
