Golden Rest Latacunga Hotel is a fantastic place to stay and easy to highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel, only one in the world entirely made of pumice! The service and room were both excellent. Fabulous breakfast of fresh fruit, juice and egg scramble made to order.

Highly recommend staying at REEC Latacunga! Our trip to Ecuador was unfortunately quite quick, so we only stayed here one night and wish we could have stayed longer.

Friendly staff and always willing to help, no matter how big or small the problem is, even if they are not able to do it by themselves, they will find a way or somebody to assist.

Positive: The location was good for our short trips to nearby sights. The breakfast was typical Ecuador style with eggs and bread, juice and coffee.

This is a gorgeous, well maintained piece of history. Every inch is covered with antique furnishings, cozy nooks, a fireplace in every sitting room, and one orange, fat cat (gato gordo naranja).

I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. A very unique experience with all the history and having a small church. The room was spacious with a fireplace.

Overall it is a great hostel for the price, but I personally was not too happy about my stay.

The hostel is very quiet, all the services, in the center of the city, close to everything, everything clean. Very good attention, with information.

I recently stayed in this hotel during a medical brigade. There were a variety of rooms/suites used by our group. I stayed in a room with two double beds that overlooked an interior courtyard.

Nice hotel in the center of Latacunga — friendly and courteous staff and a nice restaurant. Big and clean rooms and a lot of hot water.

I definitely recommend Rosim Hostel to plan hikes as the owner knows the area very well and is super helpful. I enjoyed my stay in the hostel and had nice chats with the staff and volunteer.

The stuffs're friendly and helpful. You can see mountains from the rooftop. (copotaxi, Il linisa norte, corazon…)

Good rooms, good bathrooms. Good kitchen with fridge. Wifi mostly works. Cheap but good. Good pool table to play and room to socialize if you want to under the roof, really cool in night. Recommend.

Excellent value for money. Lovely courtyards and service very good. We had to leave very early in the morning to catch a 5.30 am bus. They got us a taxi and we're on hand to make sure all was well.
