I've had the pleasure of visiting Hostería Cabañas Germany in Shell, Ecuador, not just once or twice, but three times now, each stay lasting at least a week. I can confidently say that this is the absolute best place to stay in Shell. Nestled in a truly extraordinary location, surrounded by nature and tropical rainforest, this charming establishment boasts comfortable rooms that are meticulously cleaned daily, with recently renovated bathrooms that are spotlessly maintained.
Yet, what truly sets Hostería Cabañas Germany apart is the unparalleled warmth and assistance provided by the owners, Germania and her mother, along with the other family members who go above and beyond to cater to their guests' needs. The atmosphere here is authentically familial, creating a genuine sense of home away from home, all while maintaining the utmost professionalism.
If you're seeking a haven in the heart of nature, with a level of hospitality that is second to none, look no further than Hostería Cabañas Germany. I can't wait for my fourth visit, and I have no doubt that it will be just as memorable as the previous ones.

It is a wonderful place! Host ladies are the most helpful and kind, the rooms are excellent and perfectly clean (and the bathroom…! Check the bathroom! ) plus the stunning views from the porch… We liked it so that we are coming back — it was our third visit over few years and the place just gets better and better :) We highly recommend!

We had a lovely time. The hosts are very warm and provided all that we needed. The views are spectacular from the property. Our family had a chance to unwind and relax and soak in the beauty of the place. Very tranquil to see the birds and hear the rain from a beautiful cozy lodge sipping hot chocolate and coffee.
