Located right in the heart of Zona Colonial. Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and peaceful grounds. The staff is courteous and professional!

Excellent hotel the bad thing about that place is the dirty dishes in the Hallway of the rooms but I also loved the kindness of Miss Olga Lidia with eyes 👀 beautiful brown very good nice girl mediated a very good service Everything clean in my room for and the pool clean water and soft music.

I had the pleasure of staying in one of the superior club imperial suites that has a separate elevator entrance.
The room was large & tastefully decorated incorporating the age & history of this building. The four post bed was a nice touch & in room espresso machine was very welcomed. I loved that they had noise cancelling headphones for the TV so not to bother others & the super cool bathroom with circular stone shower was a joy to bathe in with the luxury toiletries. AREAS
My club imperial room included private access to the lounge that is only for club guests with drinks available all day & an aperitive in the evening with two free drinks & snacks it’s a great was to start the evening. The pool courtyard is where you’ll spend most of your time cooling off from the incredibly strong rays of the sun, the massive ancient tree next to the pool provides ample shade. There are so many courtyards & beautiful seating areas, my favorite place was the orchard courtyard that has a vast array of local flora from mango trees to herbs its such an inviting place to sit back with a cocktails & enjoy the evening. FOOD
Breakfast is served at the sublime courtyard restaurant. They offer a huge variety of hot & cold high quality foods especially fruit.

Its a well known hotel just at the corner of the the colonial park at colonial zone. Personally I don't like it because of the sizes of the rooms. Is too small and the price is very high. Services are just normal like other places. Food services is nice but no attention to the customer. Is very clean and the waitresses dresses so clean and organized. Overall rating, is not that bad. But the price is high.

Very good location at the heart of "La Zona". Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean although a little dated. A few hiccups: there's a very unpleasant odor on the sidewalk that reached our balcony. The parking lot is very small and you have to leave your car keys on the front desk. And lastly we felt there was a lot of noise from inside the hotel at about 6-7am and the reason is that they were polishing de floor… Come on guys it was a Sunday! Other than that we had a pleasant stay, went to a lot of pubs and bars which are less than 6 minute walk from hotel. Would highly recommend the Kah Kow Experience in Calle Las Damas for a nice tour of this chocolate factory.

Clean room, good breakfast with fresh fruits and some healthy food.
Perfect location to visit all sightseeings around.
Free parking, it's a bit small, but we have to remember the age of a buildings in Colonial part of the city.
Staff is friendly.
We definitely will come back again.

My time at Hodelpa Caribe Colonial Hotel was very pleasant I have no complaints.

It is in excellent hotel for business trips or family and friends who visit the country and need to stay in a quiet place and will be from the colonial area.

I paid a room with two double beds several weeks in advance, but I arrived and they didn't have any room like that. They had given it to another guest. Then I asked for two simple rooms (which if they had), but they refused to thank me. Despite his very serious mistake the only solution they gave was to send me and my family to another lower-class hotel, walking. I had to demand that they at least pay the taxi. Otherwise, on the street and without reimbursement. The front desk was a lousy deal. I asked for claims book and they didn't give it to me; I do not know how it is in the Dominican Republic, but in my country that is an illegality with very serious fine.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location in the historic center of Santo Domingo, the rooms are uncomfortable, ugly, and it seems that the mattresses brought them Columbus when he discovered the island, the bathroom if you walk D front salts from the small back. But the worst thing is the treatment of the reception staff.

Not the best hotel I ve ever been. Nice rooms but service was very slow. We arrived at hotel before noon but were told we could not check in before 3 o clock. Then we had to wait again because room was not ready. Finally arond 5 o clock we checked in. Waiter in the restaurant was very nice and friendly though. Breakfast was good. Room in the front was nice and big but very noisy.

I was at the end of July and it is very well, very good attention, the room very comfortable and clean. Very good location, close to the pedestrian the count and the first Cathedral of America.

Comfortable hotel in the colonial area of Santo Domingo. It has parking and has access for disabled people.
Friendly and well attended reception if available, best book on the third floor, recently refurbished. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. Right bathroom.
The rooms facing the main Street have a terrace while the interiors do not. The main street is bustling, cheerful and with enough traffic so maybe, if you have sleep difficulties, you may be more recommend the interior rooms.
Nice breakfast and full buffet style in the dining room next to reception. It has a small terrace where you have breakfast in the open air.
On the rooftop there is a terrace where you could relax and overlooking the city.
Prices according to the quality offered.

Es un hotel muy céntrico, atractivo por la zona en la que se encuentra. Por la estructura colonial de la época, es adecuado. Tiene un buen servicio aunque las ofertas en paginas de Internet no venden lo que publican con el tipo de habitación.

Terrible experience. I reserved a night on this hotel for a special ocasion, a month before, however, they gave my room to someone else. The staff was very unhelpful and disrespectful. There are other great experiences for the same price in the Colonial Zone.

Right in the center. Good value for price and the rooms are a touch different to the other hotels I use.

Worst hotel EVER! I we spend our honeymoon night there and when it was time to leave the next day there was a lady who went to the room to see if all the drinks were untouched! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Nice place, unfortunately I got a room where the shower wasn't too great. I think a good shower is important in a humid environment.
