Just returned from a two week holiday! What an amazing place! Staff are excellent! Everyone wanted to help, nothing was a problem! From checking in to checking out! High standards of cleaning, rooms were immaculate and bed turned down every night with a chocolate on the bed. Plenty of towels and a fully stocked mini bar! Coco cafe excellent! Sundae bar excellent! (Claudia was an absolute angel and my son was gutted to say goodbye to her) Kids zone brilliant! Entertainment team exceptional! Especially Coca Cola, 911 and Mini Cooper. Staff in all the restaurants were friendly and attentive! (especially Leomarie) in the main restaurant) We will definitely be returning! One of the best holidays ever! Honestly couldn’t fault it!

Amazing hotel, grounds are lovely nice quiet area if you want.

My family is headed home after staying five nights in two pool-view, preferred rooms. Rooms were spacious, but hallway noise was considerable. A refresh is is probably needed to the rooms sooner or later. Views were lovely from both balconies. Martin, our butler, was fabulous. He took care of all of our requests and added a lot to the level of service we received. He was super responsive and really kind. The grounds were beautiful. The beach was glorious, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. We are early risers, so it wasn’t a problem for us, but pretty much all the poolside chairs were taken before 8:00 am each day by towels or books, etc, but very few actually had people in them until much later. Our favorite waiter was Wily in Oceana. He was adorable and very solicitous. Euclides was our favorite bartender. He was a lot of fun and remembered our drink preferences. Claudia at the buffet remembered us each time and was very friendly. The food overall was mediocre, but there was a variety of choices. No one went hungry! There were definitely highs and lows when thinking back about our stay, but we had a fabulous time and the staff made it great!

We had such a TERIFFICE experience at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana! The resort was beautiful and well manicured. The rooms were spacious, beds and pillows were comfy. And the staff were truly exceptional. Billy our concierge was so kind and helpful and fun. He really made us feel like family, and there wasn't anything we needed that he didn't deliver on. Nelson Junior was outstanding every day of our vacation, going out of his way to make sure we were attended too. William at the pool bar was also exceptional, we had a fun interaction with him every time! As far as the entertainment team, while they were ALL amazing, we really have to shout out Mini Cooper and Coca-Cola who made us feel extra special and provided us many extra laughs and lifelong memories! Can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay and all of the people we met! Until next time!

Wish we were here for longer. The hotel grounds are immaculate. The service from all staff is excellent. Good quality drinks and food, always plenty of restaurants to choose from. Our room was a deluxe pool view in the preferred club section and it was huge with a large bed, lounge area and wrap around balcony with jacuzzi bath. Highly recommended 👍

We absolutely LOVED this resort. Our butler Martin was amazing and took great care of us! We rented a cabana every day and it was so awesome. Our waiter Juan was outstanding! Always made sure we were taken care of. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dreams Royal Beach! Will definitely be back!

Amazing family trip to Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana. Food was great; rooms were awesome but most importantly; the service was outstanding. Luis was our preferred club waiter and he was the best we have experienced. Every morning he greeted us and knew exactly what we wanted to drink. The service he provided was 5/5! Thank you for making each day special!

The staff is above and beyond amazing, helpful and friendly. Absolutely nothing goes unnoticed by them and they are very, very quick to correct anything that may need to be corrected which is few and far between. I am not one to visit a resort time and time again, as there are far too many places to see, but should I be back to Punta Cana in the future, I will be staying at this resort. Also seek out Robert, Euclides and Samuel at the Interlude bar, and prepare for the most amazing drinks, and maybe even a show!

Excellent experience, spectacular rooms, spacious, safe, comfortable and quiet facilities. The attention in bars and restaurants was one A👌🏼, we were totally satisfied to have visited them. 🤩

This was our first all inclusive experience and honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else! JR, Spaghetti (I know I’m not spelling that right! ) and the entertainment staff were top notch. The beach was so clean compared to neighboring beaches. The bar staff was incredible! On a scale from 1 to 10, this resort was a 20! I can’t say enough good things! These Wisconsinites will definitely be returning!

Visited Dreams Royal July 28-Aug 4. Enjoyed every minute we were there. The staff were so kind and accommodating. Made us feel like we were the only people there. Loved the evening shows, loved the entertainment staff. They really appear to enjoy their jobs all the while working so very hard.
The only disappointing thing was the seaweed, although the resort tried so very hard to keep the beach and water clean. I highly recommend the resort!

Our stay was exceptional due to all the very hard working staff! Cannot say enough good about the care that goes into the details here! Butler Billy, housekeeping, servers, and concierge all are amazing!

So far it’s wonderful. Beautiful grounds and lovely staff. Hope the next four days are perfect. Do not book the trip to Sanoma island. I spent 700$ for my family to go and we spent 30 min in a gas station parking lot. Then we were on a bus with 25 people. Stopped at another convenience store for another 34 min. Then stood on a beach waiting for the boat to take you to the island for another 30 min so you spend 2.5 hours of your excursion at gas station stores abs standing around before ever getting to the island. Had a fabulous vacation there in January 2020. Great staff and the most friendly staff I have ever meet! They do what ever you ask them to make your stay even more memorable! We upgraded to the preferred club and I have to admit it was NOT worth the money for it! You get pretty much the same as everyone else besides 2 restaurants and they weren’t even good so don’t waste your money on upgrading! Also I never got to go into the pools and they had 5 and all 5 were absolutely freezing so cold that no one was swimming not even
Kids, has to go swim in the ocean if you wanted to get wet! Food was ok but not the best, ate the same food all week not much to choose from and always had 2 restaurants closed as the others were open so why advertise for all restaurants to eat at when you can’t? Check in was so long and had to wait for our room and when we got it the fridge wasn’t working and safe was broke and didn’t get no whirlpool tub on the balcony as they show so it was a hazel! The resort it self was beautiful and so clean and staff was incredible but I have to say not sure if I would go back just because the pools were so cold and so may restaurants to choose from but only some are open at a time, and the food was just okay for me and I’m definitely not a picky eater!

We just returned home after being there for over a week. They have a fantastic staff throughout the resort, restaurants, bars, entertainment team, UVC Club, Incredible. Also, our butler Cesar was the best! He was always accessible for us and always did whatever he could do to help us!

My family and I just spent a week at this resort. I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff and especially Warnes who helped us out with whatever we needed. The food was exceptional at this resort, especially the French and Asian restaurants. Just a heads up that the resort is under construction so the entire resort isn’t accessible at this time and certain areas can be noisy. It didn’t interfere with our great holiday though!

The staff is very poor, when we asked for something it was never carried out. Most of the restaurant is closed. And we upgraded to VIP The management apparently don’t no what VIP means.

Pushy staff — constantly trying to sell you something — you can’t say no or they say they are so poor they need to pay their bills — followed us around until the last day. Ate at the Italian restaurant and because we didn’t buy a bottle of wine, we were snubbed and they literally stopped serving us. One waiter said to another — in Spanish, don’t help them. He did know I understood him or didn’t care. Anyway I’ll definitely think twice before going back.

My family and I just returned from Now Larimar and had a wonderful time! This is our third trip to Now, but first with our 16 month old. Everyone was incredibly pleasant and accommodating — it was a wonderful experience and very family friendly! Special thanks to Rosa Iris for making our vacation extra special!

Amazing hotel, to advise and to repeat vacation. In particular, I can not stop to talk to Cesar the best concierge and butler in the world, has made us feel special and at home, a 10 in attention to all the workers. We will return!

Here with my husband, daughter and son in law celebrating their wedding anniversary… beautiful resort. Having a great time… staff is very accommodating and over the top friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Clean rooms and very good selections of food and drink. Would highly recommend and we would all return to this resort again in the future.

Good resort. All inclusive with lots of activities, especially in the evening, to keep you occupied. The premises are kept clean and staff are friendly. No mosquitos that I was able to see. There is a kids club with lots of activities for kids to keep the little ones busy while the parents can go explore by themselves. However, the maintenance of the rooms could use some improvement.

For an all inclusive resort, it was wonderful. Staff was polite, courtious, and up most helpful. Food was not always flavorful, but there are abundant of places to find a variety of food. They are more then willing to pour you as many drinks as you like and before you leave the staff becomes your friends. Love it here!

Loved it is the second time I have stayed, excellent service from the time you arrive until you leave. At reception Juan Manuel welcomed us with such kindness and warmth in the treatment. It's a great hotel! I went from the tour operator Travel Professional Group. The flight went perfectly, to the hotel a very fast transfer. Good hotel guide. In the Dominican Republic rested for the third time, there is something to compare. There is everything for a measured quiet rest, the conditions I really liked. I will start, probably, with the staff — attentive and tactful employees, courteous, polite, friendly, reception warm. Their duties are performed very qualitatively, try to please. For a firm 5! Next, food. A lot of different food, always fresh fruits, vegetables, delicious juicy meat, seafood, fish. Restaurants ala cards liked, visited everything. I can't say I liked it any more. But, the service in each is simply impeccable. The beach is very nice, clean, lots of sunbeds on the beach and near the pools. Used the Preferred Club service package. The hotel rooms are large. Great bathroom with shower, toilet, Jacuzzi. White towels, good cosmetics. The furniture is in excellent condition, a comfortable bed. The cabinet is roomy. TV, safe, kettle, hairdryer. The air conditioning is not bad. Cleaning is normal, there was no dust. Animation is just on top.

It's great. I don't understand how anyone here might not like anything? The room is super, clean. The food is as tasty as a year ago from the staff as was exactly a year ago there were 5-7 people. All the animators except one other, but still still interesting. Internet and tennis court FREE! Algae are cleaned all day. They're mostly off the coast.

Can’t say how nice and efficient the staff was. The entertainment was great and food spot on. Only gave it a 4 star because of the beach. Had seaweed and water wasn’t as clear. They hotel did work it’s hardest to clean the beach. We walked about 5 miles north and the beach was clear and blue. Overall I would come here again for the food, entertainment, and pools. Had a great relaxing time here.

Staff are very friendly and the accommodations are nice. The distinction between proffered club members and regular guests is noticeable and annoying. You will also be constantly asked by the sea pro people to buy an excursion while you are in the pool at the resort. Nightly entertainment is awesome. We had our wedding there Bd it went well and our wedding planner Angela was amazing to work with. She helped us have a great wedding night and made sure our night was special.

Great entertainment crew, BabyFace, Cappuccino, etc. Foam pool party, to karaoke to a great fire show on the beach. Variety of restaurants and also buffet. Food was good but not great. Great beach with tiki huts for shade, and nice bars. Shopping was very limited to get souvenirs. Seaweed season when we were there 6/30-7/6 but still beautiful sand. Disco club at night great for all ages. The hard working staff and friendliness of the Domincan Republican employees is what makes this resort truly special.
Owners, please care for your staff at NOW, because they are invaluable and so special. They give their guests the best!

Good time of day. I have to say it's just no words! It is a PARADISE IN PARADISE! The hotel is gorgeous, the service is super, food is diverse. And what mangoes and pineapples! Mm mm yummy! A huge area full of greenery.! Class! We stayed in room 2236 from our room was gorgeous views of palm trees! Class! And I especially want to mention lady Santa, she always knows how to lighten the mood. It was delivered to our room the program the next day. Many thanks to her! I also want to mention the guys from team entertainment — SUPER MAMBO, MINI BABY, RED BULL.! THE BEST! My husband and I did not regret having chosen Now Larimar Punta Cana. Omg! Such a beautiful resort! I was treated like royalty the minute I arrived. It started with a nice cold towel and refreshments. Check in was a breeze! The entire staff was very nice and friendly. The resort and beach is very clean and well maintained. There is something to do there for every age group. The food and drinks were very good as well. Also, when they said it's all inclusive, they really meant it. If your a heavy drinker, you should upgrade to the preferred club to get premium drinks. I didn't because I was good with my daiquiris and Caribbean drinks. I will definitely be back. Highly Recommended!

Our stay here was restful and enjoyable for the week. The entire hotel staff was were very friendly and always around to server and help you. The accommodations were very nice and up to standards… they do a great job at maintaining everything. The food here was the best and they have a great selection at the buffet and à la carte restaurants. We're already planning our next trip here. I'd definitely recommend this resort to anyone!

We stayed in Now Garden but were able to use the facilities and restaurants at Now Larimar also. It was fabulous, the staff are so attentive and it was so beautiful there. We ate in all restaurants except the Mexican and enjoyed each of them. The French restaurant had a high end feel to it and the service was superb. Hopefully we can visit again one day.

Overpriced compared to other resorts in the most beautiful and comfortable area.

We had such a great stay! The staff was incredible. We brought our 3 year old boys and everyone single person went out of their way to make them feel special. I love that you don't have to make a reservation for the nightly restaurants. We didn't experience any wait times. The property is small enough that walking to the beach is easy. I gave the hotel 4 stars bc the rooms need renovation and some of the common areas look worn; however, the staff members make up for it. Good work Now Larimar!

The resort is fantastic. Great amenities. Lots of fun stuff to do. The main reason for my 3 star review is the food. It was atrocious. That said, I didn't get to eat at all the restaurant, but the three I went to were aweful.

Just returned from our vacation to Now Larimar Punta Cana. We had a great time. This visit to the DR was our sixth visit, each at a different resort in a attempt to find the "perfect fit" resort for us to return to each year. Now Larimar was a good contender, but will not be the "perfect fit" for us as the lack of pool shade areas is a large negative for our family. There are plenty of seating around the pool and there was never a problem finding a seat but there is only enough shade areas for 12 people. There are no umbrellas or grass huts around the pool to provide areas to get out of the direct sun. The servers were great, never went long without someone asking if we wanted anything to drink. Greisly in the buffet was awesome and provided excellent service. The food was not wonderful and sometimes it was hard to find something to eat at the buffet and the restaurants were also just so/so. Overall, great vacation and if there had been more shaded areas at the pool for guests this resort could have been the fit for us.

The hotel is in general pleasant. But a little old, the furniture is shabby both in the room and in the restaurants. The grounds are cozy. The food is generally good, the choice is. But I liked the breakfasts a lot more dinners. The choice of a huge, from 6 kinds of a frresh, to Donatov and donuts, pancakes, red fish, champagne. The staff is very friendly, helpful, smiling. The atmosphere of carelessness and tranquility. At sea there are seaweed, but they try to clean. The sand is white, small, not heated. The sea is clean, turquoise. Except for the algae sticks that we have. But given may, it may be the cost of the season. The rooms have a Jacuzzi bathtub. There is a bath on the balcony and a shower in the bathroom, and there are rooms where the jacuzzi is in the bathroom itself. The Russians were about 20%.
But the most unpleasant is cockroaches. I killed 10 grand.
The animation is not the best, but the guys try. Soft, not intrusive during the day and there is evening program in the evening. Another disco from 23:00.

Service was great. Resort was beautiful. Good drinks, name brand liquor. Only downside was the food. I would rate everything I mention above a 5 star on its own. The food… 2 stars at best. Avoid the Mexican, it was literally terrible. The French restaurant okay, the American restaurant was "good" in comparison. Hibachi was good too but requires reservation. Buffet was iffy at best. Really if food is important to you I wouldn't recommend this place.

If you're looking for peace, you're wrong. The whole day from several side sounding, from which one can only hear the drone of the bass. Even with Mexicans, a "cozy" meal 82 db is pressed on the ears. With the Asian, three show chefs will reach the atmosphere of a year's market. The grounds are very spacious and well maintained. The rooms are large and the bathroom with whirlpool, separate toilet and shower. The food was plentiful and very good. The staff are super friendly. Unfortunately, the buffet restaurant also has the ambience of a station hall with the corresponding noise backdrop. The Italian in the neighbouring hotel can eat outside but comfortably.

Big and nice resort. Spaceous pool area and also a very nice beach. There are different restaurants, some are very good, like the asian one or the mexican. Others are rather bad, like the Italian one. For breakfast and lunch there is a big choice on the buffet.

Family orientated; whilst not overbearing, the poolside apartments are beset with noise from kids and regular "parties". The overly loud music is all based on "Drum and Bass" and must be targeted at teens; a quiet time you will not get at NOW Larimar. The settings are very well maintained and the staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. The rooms are clean and airey. The beach is clean and well maintained, though if you have a plan to use it, make sure you bag your spot early because it gets busy. Spend the extra on Preferred status; it's not much more money and it gives you the run of the place. If you're prepared to holiday in Punta Cana and enjoy the indulgences of Sun, Sea, Surf, Sand, perfect Pools and a FREE bar, it's churlish not to go the extra mile. Avoid the Sales Presentation. This is a typically American formatted high-pressure selling technique that literally blasts you with initially huge numbers that decrease with each barrage. It'll last all morning and leave you stunned. My advice? Sign nothing on the day and go away and "do the numbers" to decide if what they're offering suits your projected lifestyle. Azure skies and not too hot; a perfect time in April/May time.

I was disappointed. A blackout for three hours or so. Cleaning service in the late room. He offered cooking show, a total disaster nothing show. They didn't offer any apologies for the lack of electric power.

The Preferred guest experience at Now Larimar was amazing! Well worth the extra to have access to more services, amenities and personalized staff. As for the resort, the food was great, staff was friendly and the grounds were well kept and gorgeous. Beach was spacious and clean. Pool areas and bars were big, and there was a great choice of quiet or party atmosphere. One fault was the high cost of off site excursions and trips. Otherwise Highly recommended.

A resort with everything and for the taste of all the customer service characterizes beaches that leave the mouth open where you can have your dream wedding, do not forget anyone include everyone and always with that kind personality risueña and willing to have the Dominican people Five points for all the staff and don't forget that we are always "excellent" here:D.

We have a great time so far, my family had enjoy all the amenities. The spa and steam room was awesome, my wife and I relaxed. My son have a good time in the pool and in the beach meeting other kids, and also the game room. The entertainment every night was enjoyable. The housekeeping was excellent, but some of the waiter's in the restuarant should focus one customer at a time.

The hotel, like most of the others in the area, has excellent beaches where there are spectacular sunsets, ideal for weddings. The festive and Caribbean atmosphere feels great at the pool in the evenings at very hot times you can have a really good time there, but also has more quiet and relaxed spaces.

This resort was beautiful with an amazing staff! Jumbo Mambo was a staff member with a great personality. He made me and my family very comfortable. The night club located in the resort was enjoyable but did close very early. They have multiple food options but unfortunately none of the food options was Dominican food which was a bit upsetting. Being in Dominican republic I wanted to experience their culture and it was hard to do that within the resort. I would recommend that the resort should have a Dominican restaurant located in the resort. Other than that keep up the great work! P. S if you are looking to do an excursion I would suggest the Monkey Jungle, it was an unforgettable experience where you are able to interact with monkeys and our tour guide (Sammy) had so much information to provide us with during our ride! He had amazing energy and made our excursion wonderful. So remember Monkey Jungle and request Sammy! You won't regret it.

Is a luxury hotel with matches services included. It has access to the beach, swimming pools, a small gym and enough entertainment options to have fun without leaving the facilities. There are several options of restaurants where you can taste Mexican, French, Asian, American, Italian and a buffet with very varied food for voracious appetites. The staff is friendly and you just have to ask for what you need so that Alhuien will help you get it. No matter if you go on vacation or for work, it is a good place to enjoy the natural beauty and friendliness of the Caribbean.

If you think you're going to an all include, take a lot of dollars to tip, because if not the second day you're going to have to attend you alone. The catamaran that is included. In order to use it you must pay a $10 insurance per day and you can use it only once for half an hour. If you want shade on the beach, take your umbrella because there is no for everyone and nobody takes care of it. The same to find a lounge chair in the pool.

Hello, who wants to see the Caribbean island, absolutely must come here. It's gorgeous. The hotel now Larimar/Bavaro and Garden are located on the Atlantic. On the sea there are always daily dependent times more, sometimes less seaweed/plant remains. The staff admits it, but the grass is faster. To see even more of the Caribbean, you can take a trip to Saona or Cantalina. If you want to see the underwater world while snorkeling, the tour on Catalina is not enough. I was quite disappointed because you saw some plants and fish and that's it. I thought I'd see more. The equipment to snorkel even underwater, there is extra to buy. The normal snorkeling is only on the surface. Saona is recommended, above all the guide was top, has told much during the ride over Dr, was funny, reliable and has translated into four languages everything. An excursion is about $95. If you are already flying here, you should simply change the money with us in Germany. Is simply practical and the remaining money, can also be changed back in Germany. The food in the hotel is varied and delicious. The main restaurant is almost the same every day. But you also have the possibility to dine at the hotel in Ala Carnte, here you can choose from: Mexican, Japanese, Italian, American and French. Small shops are also available and of course stands or Dominicans on the beach who want to sell something. The hotel room is very clean and is also cleaned every day. An adapter for the sockets is required.

The resort and rooms are beautiful and well-kept. Staff is friendly and entertaining. Food and beverages are good! My only complaint is that around 6:30pm they fumigate the grounds for probably bugs, leaving a smelly smoke that lingers for only a couple minutes. While it doesn’t last long and keeps the grounds nice, it’s a horrible time of day to do as people are heading to dinner and likely still outside. I wouldn’t want my family and small child breathing that in.

Impeccable staff… great quality of services… immense complex where everything is almost allowed… the client is king. Not disappointed with the 9:30 plane shift.

Such a wonderful resort! All of the staff was great The entertainment team did a fantastic job at engaging with guests and provided awesome shows each night! The wait staff was always prompt and enjoyable. Check-in was complete with drinks and a cool towel. We sprung for the upgrade and are very happy we did! We got access to the VIP pools (which were quieter and less busy than the main pools), VIP bars & lounges (better quality liquor, less busy, etc), a special VIP beach area, access to the beach side restaurant, a room upgrade, special pillows, and much more! The beach was so incredibly beautiful and filled with lots of fun. The room is AWESOME! Huge, lovely, clean, and comfortable. The restaurants were great — there are 6 on-site (French, Japanese, Steakhouse — aka American, Mexican, a buffet, and a beachside restaurant) and one in the Now Garden that you can go to (Italian). The food was pretty good, but not the best we've ever had. But… we were there mostly for the warmth, relaxation, and drinks. So that was alright! There's also a night club that was quite fun (and there was a pool! So cool! ) and a sports bar (that was closed for renovations while we were there). This was our first time to the Dominican Republic and are very happy with the resort we chose to stay at. I highly recommend the NOW Larimar!

Very well. Hotel clean, very friendly staff and rider even though it is not always to be understood. If you are fluent in Spanish or English it is better. Small downside, they tend to put the air conditioning too strong.

Went with the kids (5 & 10) and had lots to keep them and myself busy and entertained the whole week. The staff are amazing and super friendly. The facilities are clean and lots of options for eating. We went for a wedding which was beautiful! They did such a great job with the arrangements! I would recommend Now Garden to anyone. We stayed at Now Garden and shuttled to Larimar. It was nice and quiet with entertainments short walk or shuttle away.

Would recommend this resort to any family. It's perfect in every way. We stayed in preferred club we has a concierge 24hours they were fantastic all staff were amazing we also had breakfast in the room and private pools. It also caters for weddings in very beautiful surroundings, whether it be by the pool, lush gardens or even on the beach. Restaurants have amazing food. My kids loved the kids club. Have to and must visit now larima again would recommend to anyone.

Good choice for an all inclusive hotel with friendly staff, nice rooms and good choices in the buffet. The reason for not giving 5 stars are: — Most alcoholic drinks that were inclusive were below expectations. The red/white wine was completely undrinkable (and believe me, I'm not a fuzzy drinker) — a clear strategy to get guests to spend money on wine bottles for sale. — The "resort credits" you receive are also sort of a scam. You can only use them to discount to a small degree on regular prices. Apart from this, it was good. Good value for money all in all I think.

Excellent hotel to visit with friends or family, even as a couple. It has several recreation areas and includes a nice view to the beach. Its main pool is extensive, clean and pretty. They also have several bars where the attention and quality are up to date. The restaurants it owns are very varied and exquisite, I recommend the Mexican that certainly filled my expectations. As for the evening entertainment, they have several shows in the main area for the whole family and a disco with good drinks and atmosphere, the only problem is that it closes very early. Definitely a visit to repeat.

Fro. It's not a real five star. Very noisy. No bed for babies. Very humid room. A buffet similar to a canteen. The other restaurants inaccessible, always wait an hour before you can have a table. Really expensive for what it is.

The positives are the always dedicated staff, the pool, the proximity to the beach, as well as the garden which is very nice.

Just came back from our trip and had an excellent time! Everything about the resort is really good. Its very clean, room spacious, food was above average. Loved the tropical fruits and juices served during breakfast. Best part was the entertainment team. All of them went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. Special mention — baby face, mariachi, fifty cents. Evening shows were top class. The beach is beautiful — white sand. The sea weed was there but did not bother us much. We did not take the preferred club membership but still had a blast.

Great place to stay. It has something for eveyone. A daycare place for young kids. Events for teens. And events for adults. There are shows, concerts, and beach parties hosted throughout the week. Food is amazing. Family friendly place. And if u need a break from the resort they provide excursions throughout the DR. This was my family's second time coming and we'll definitely be turning.

The place is very nice, the food is variable in general almost everything they cook is very good and fresh, it has very good location of the room to the pools and beaches. The only thing I did not like is that when we arrived we were accosted by a person from the hotel who we thought was to welcome us and show us the hotel facilities, it turns out that person took 2 hours of our time asking questions that I thought, were polite and the only thing that interested him was to know if we could be potential customers to sell us his VIP membership, we talk about having a breakfast the other day, but also tells us exactly what it is, it turned out it was to sell after 2 hours lost at the end they told us what it was, the fact is that while we kept on that unknown, we could not enjoy the hotel to the fullest. That generated discussions in the group and at the end the stay at the hotel was a fiasco. Obvious that if I had known that it was or had not let him talk a lot, but the hotel has a very aggressive sales department, it seems as if they will not make up for what you pay for the stay, but want to get more money to like place, because they also encourage you to buy drinks that are not included etc. If you bought an all inclusive stay to Ostigan with all those things, one went to vacation not to extresarse more. However they give you some discount bonuses but in the end you have to use them as they tell you, that in the end is no offer. Nothing gets you comfortable. Etc.

A paradisiacal place, ideal to rest and share in a cozy atmosphere where nature plays a very important role in your stay. I thought it was excellent.

We just came back from our trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We stayed at Now Larimar Punta Cana and we had that "preferred" price option. We would NEVER come back and we would NOT recommend anybody to stay in this hotel for the following reasons: 1) We were not happy with our room. Based on our "preferred" status, we were supposed to have ten time better room. Our room was on the ground floor, very dark and smelly. Also, our room was required some repairs in the bathroom and the sliding door was not secured. Even though we asked for a repair, it was never done. Also, we had to ask a few times for fresh towels. 2) When we arrived in our hotel we had to wait for our room until 4:00 p. M. Our suitcases were taken from us as we arrived and we had no chance to change our clothes. Since we arrived to the hotel in the morning, it was one lost day … 3) We ate all ONLY at the hotel and we were drinking ONLY bottled water that we had at the hotel, but we both got some kind of stomach bag or food poisoning. 4) On the top of the above, a few of our personal clothes were stolen from our room. 5) Overall, service was way below average. Even though this is all-inclusive hotel, this is not a 4 or 5 starts hotel. Period. The fair rating for Now Larimar is only 2 or 3 starts at most. If you are planning to travel to Dominican Republic, which is beautiful, we would suggest you booking a different hotel.

It is a luxury hotel with matches services included. It has access to the beach, swimming pools, a small gym and enough entertainment options to have fun without leaving the facilities. There are several options of restaurants where you can taste Mexican, French, Asian, American, Italian and a buffet with very varied food for voracious appetites. The staff is friendly and you just have to ask for what you need so that Alhuien will help you get it. No matter if you go on vacation or for work, it is a good place to enjoy the natural beauty and friendliness of the Caribbean.

The hotel is great. It has lots of nice spaces. An all inclusive hotel near the beach. It has 5 restaurants, two bars, a disco, swimming pool and many green areas. Your food is very good. And the beach is very beautiful, it offers deckchairs, towels and innkeepers service.

The only positive is the staff. They are incredible people doing the best they can with what the resort has to offer. There were no umbrellas at the pools, the lounge chairs were falling apart. The food was mediocre. Our rooms air conditioning went out, the TV didn't work properly and we kept getting woke up by a rooster at 3am every morning. I do have to say the staff stepped up and gave us a new room.

We decided to "upgrade" from the Now Garden but the food sucks. Everything seems to have a weird ingredient that makes you feel bloated after eating. Seems like they get cheaper ingredients. Tomatoes are green and red (same slice), bread is tasteless, service is mediocre at best. Nobody understands English and people are constantly trying to peddle stuff to you on the beach. It is beautiful and if you drink enough of the watered down liquor you will still have fun. Update: Don't eat the beach chicken. It will give you some kind of stomach bug and you will not want to leave your room.

Nice relaxing area. Drinks are overflowing. The food could be improved during the day there's very limited options. The night life is more exciting but not wild. All the staff is friendly and for weddings and special events they truly try to create whatever your vision is (of course there's a fee for all extras). And ask about off site shopping malls they offer transportation and the souvenirs are more reasonably priced than the onsite shops.

Excellent Hotel in couple or family. The staff are friendly. The food is very good. It serves excellent coffee latte at the buffet at lunch. Very nice site with a very nice beach. We just walk a long time on the water's edge. Blank space to the right if we face the sea.

It was a great experience for me and my husband in our honeymoon! but this place is perfect for a family with kids! They should advertise if correctly by sayigis for family and kids! not for two couples! Another thing, if you are Dominican and you were born in the USA like me and you have a husband outside of your culture non Spanish speaker is better to speak in English because a lot of staff go overboard and doesn't have no boundaries! the men over there are like hounds they don't care if you are with your husband! but overall my husband and I had great fun! food drink and event was cool.

The resort is very pretty and relaxing. The staff is attentive, friendly and very polite. All the staff members know several languages. The food is delicious, you have many choices. The entertainment and atomsphere is great. The only turn off is they try to sell you time share and they are very persistent about it. Other than that a great place!

Sister resort to the Now Garden. Very expansive. Many pools and is also attached to the beach. The Carnival buffet is amazing and the main plaza is filled with 5 restaurants, a nightclub, a sports bar with bowling, billiards and foosball, a cafe, a theater, a gym, a spa and even a clinic! The Garden is also a wonderful place but you think of that as a residential area and the Larimar is like the city square. Customer service is also UNMATCHED. Never seen anything like it. Not one order of food or drink came out wrong. Can't wait to come again and it's only been day 3 out of 7.

My husband & I stayed here from May 20 — 28th to celebrate our anniversary. Initially had a minor mix-up with the room reservation (On Expedia's end), which was rapidly corrected. We were treated like royalty our entire stay. Staff was friendly & incredibly thoughtful. Frequently came back to the room after dinner to find our room had been decked out with rose petals, jacuzzi filled with bubbles, a plate of lovely desserts & a bottle of chilled champagne. The resort is meticulously maintained & it is apparent everyone loves their job. Because of our room mix up, the hotel manager, Darling, made sure we were well taken care of. In less then 1 day, we felt like friends with so many wonderful people — Darling, Warnes, Juan, Luis, Randy & so many more. Great memories were made! I would recommend this resort unquestionably! Thank-you for a lovely stay & making us feel like family. Hasta que nos volvamos a ver mis amigos!

Excellent Hotel, on the occasion of the wedding of our daughter visited 10 days ago a group of people from Chile, Sweden and Canada, and the unanimous opinion of all was a single: excellent.
Notably, without the intention of undermining the attentions of the staff of the Resort, but on the occasion of more contact the location that fit us, our thanks go to the staff's New Garden: room service and staff of the Trattoria Italian Restaurant for making us feel at home, thank you for your attention, professionalism, warmth, cordiality and sympathy. Also go our thanks to Martinez of the bote-bar from the beach and close to the sea pool bar staff. Congratulations.

I had a great trip, and the beaches are beyond beautiful, but this resort should by no means be classified as a 5 star hotel. Overall, the staff is friendly but definitely not that helpful. We ordered room service, extra towels etc. And nothing was ever delivered. The rooms are dated and extremely underwhelming. We traveled with a large group for a wedding, so I can say first hand that many of them have missing lamps, curtains, no hot water, and/or mold. The wedding venues are pretty, but you need to make sure you're okay with a very public wedding. They by no means clear the beach or swimming area behind the ceremony, so I found that to be pretty uncomfortable. They also offer the same terrible wine and bottom shelf alcohol at weddings which was pretty disappointing. The resort offers everything expected from a 5-star resort, but just not at the level you would expect. The food is also terrible. I found a couple items that held me over for the week, but I by no means enjoyed a meal. All in all, if you're looking for a fun, affordable vacation, I recommend coming. However, if you're a 4/5 star hotel kind of traveler, don't even think about it.

Beautiful place house keeping service was not good things was still dirty after house keeping. Food was water down and high sodium. This was my first trip to DR and next time I will stay somewhere else.

Went for a wedding from April 4th-11th 2016. It was a great trip! I had read reviews prior to going, and will admit I was very apprehensive about what I might find. Those reviews were wrong, and it was absolutely wonderful. The entertainment team was great! And the variety of activities they had was exceptional! My favorite had to have been the beach party night, with the fire show! It was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were well kept, and turndown service each night was a nice treat. Our mini fridge was always stocked—and with what we requested. (just beer and H20 for us please! ) We always had clean towels, and never found one bug in our room. The food was better than I expected, the only meal I did not like was at the Mexican restaurant the Fajita had to have had the driest chicken I had ever eaten in my life. Other than that no complaints! I would however suggest more food available by the pool/beach as by the end I was sick of fries and hot dogs. The pool & beach areas were amazing! AND the best part was I didn’t have to wake up at 8am to reserve a chair. Overall, it was a great trip. I am deducting stars though for some poor attitudes from some staff members, and for the view of our room (pretty sure we looked at Staff corridors)

I have been to quite a few resorts in my time and this was by far the worst place I have ever been to in or out of the US. The food was terrible! On all of our paperwork this was supposed to be a top shelf liquor resorts and it was far from it. You have to upgrade to get top shelf and even then there isn't much for top shelf. I didn't upgrade because it was not worth it and I am glad I didn't because I was told by multiple people that the "Top Shelf" sure didn't taste like it. We would order drinks for example Stolie vodka. I would watch them poor my drink and that is the bottle it came out of but when I drank it was obvious it was not vodka. At one point I had the bartender poor me a shot just to sip it straight and see and it definitely wasn't vodka. This happened the whole trip so in conclusion for drinks, the bottles are obviously being filled with something other then what is labeled. When it came to the drinks in general, they were horrible. We were there with a wedding with a party of 35, over half of us were feeling like crap by day 3 and 12 of them were beyond sick and were unable to leave the room! People we constantly pestering you to buy something… even calling your room sometimes 5 times a day starting at 8AM so we all unplugged our phones. The dealers at the casino misdealt numerous time which cost us somehow. The rooms were ok but not great.

We stayed at the Now Larimar in Punta Cana for our honeymoon a few years ago. The marriage, sadly, has not lasted but my memories of the hotel are still fantastic. We got upgraded for free due to it being our honeymoon, something we were very appreciative of. Plenty of choice of restaurants — some better than others. Fantastic staff at the restaurant, bars and hotels, really friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back.

These are the reasons: Credit cards compromised four times among two family members during booking of this trip 2. My wife is still sick with a horrible diarrheal illness which has lasted 11 days so far. 3. Very difficult to get into the restaurants, turning people away when there were spots at the bar 4. Non-motorized water sports were very limited & filled up fast (only able to be booked the day of use) 5. Process of checking in very strange… multiple check in trying to sell you upgrades, special club privileges. Wouldn't go there again.

If you're after a budget Caribbean holiday with lots of sun then maybe this will work for you but expect limited quality. The food was varied and there were a lot of choices in the restaurants but would avoid the buffet as it's extremely repetitive. The shops were over priced and expect to pay through the nose if you need medicine. No cocktails to speak of, pre-mixed slush mixers with a dash of rum and limited other options for drinks. The excursions were what saved us and there are plenty of options for reps, however they do come up to you on the beach and whilst they're friendly folks it can get a bit annoying after a while.

Loved it! I had a lot of interesting activities with the hotel staff, and I also had a lot of fun. The food in the restaurants was really delicious, and the rooms were pretty well arranged and cleaned. The weather was warm and sunny almost all the time. The view from my room was really great. The staff was so friendly that I will never forget about the time I spent with them during the activities I got involved in. I also made new friends from many countries around the world easily. I really miss this place, the friendly staff and the new friends I made there now!

I loved this place! Beautiful, clean, nice choice of restaurants to eat at (love the French one personally, great creme brule), lots of planned activities if you want to be involved, nice beach, game room, had a casino and night club and nightly shows. Just a great all inclusive and very friendly staff. They went out of their way to remember your name and what you like. Thanks staff you were great!

Beautiful, clean overall resort. Beach is wonderful and pleasant. However, the room rarely got cleaned, and the included minibar only stocked once the entire week. Some of the restaurants have poor service and are filthy. The pools are great and the drinks are stiff. Overall 3/5

My family and I had a excellent weekend at this hotel, restaurants are mainly delicious Japanese food, very good animation team, and what impressed me most was the resivimiento of the boot to us resivio with wet towels and a welcome drink, the trunk Juan Francisco received us with a stunning smile and gave us all the information of place with very friendly I felt at home my next Holiday have no doubt where to spend them. My family was impressed with the staff who are treated as if we were at home. We hope to return soon.

My husband and I were 1st honeymoon. And November 2, 2015, the attentions were excellent, especially makers of celebration and activities. The restaurant, excellent service. The attentions of Modesto and Juan excellent 5 star for them.

I would like to start off and say DO NOT waste the money on the "preferred club" this resort was HORRIBLE and you can FORGET talking to someone and trying to get your room and everything fixed everyone says what is your room number we will call you tomorrow and you NEVER here from them. Me and my husband came for our honeymoon we stayed preferred so we could get the "honeymoon package" where you get a free couples massage free dinner on the beach and turn down service NONE of these things were given to us even after talking to someone FOUR times. We paid alot of money to stay at this resort and it was HORRIBLE! The so called butler that wants a big tip we never once saw after he dropped us off at our room. You are told all the stuff you get for preferred such as liquor and beer in your room and you get 2 can beers which is fine but we only knew what the bottled beer which they wouldn't stock. The pools are nice but the preferred pools are small and the bartenders are very rude. Regular pool was way better had a swim up bar and somewhat nicer bartenders. The only go thing about preferred club was the little place you could eat on the beach but not worth the 1500 you pay to be preferred! The shows every night are amazing! The beach was amazing no seaweed just bring bugspray on the beach or you will get tore up by bugs. Also if you drink I would recommend that you bring your own cup they will fill it up for you if not they give you a very small drinking cup.

AN HONEST REVIEW! Beach/Hotel Grounds: The grounds of the hotel are very beautiful and tropical. The beach is nice, however, the seaweed is crazy! They try their best to clean it up, but there is just too much of it. Hotel Room: The rooms were pretty clean, however, the maid service was not very good. They forgot mutliple times to provide shower towels and soap (basic hotel necesseties) and I had to call room service to get them. They also told me my refrigerator would be restocked every day with any drinks that were consumed and that did not happen so I had to call room service for that as well. Lastly, I was there for a wedding and most of us had upgraded to the preferred club so you would think all of us would get the same things in our room… I thought wrong! Some rooms had a robe and slippers, a bottle of rum, and different soaps and lotions. It was very annoying trying to explain to them how some rooms had certain things that others did not that should have been provided. Food: The food tasted average to above average at best. However, BE WARNED, you WILL get diarrhea eating food here. Everyone in the wedding party suffered from diarrhea, and none of us drank the water. Pools: The pools were nice and for the most part, well maintained. However, they do not stay open very late (only till 6-7pm) and there is no adult's only pool so that was very annoying due to the number of children that frequented the pools. Also, the "preferred" club pools really were not preferred.

Luxury and relaxation. The resort is more along the linea of honeymooners and quiet seekers, rather than partying. But still an excellent overall experience from facilities and entertainment, to all the restaurants.

We had fun. The only complaint is that they have an area restricted to preferred customers, and as the checkup of input they gave us the information we spent a moment unpleasant when the receptionist invited us to leave the restaurant castaways on the beach area.
