About the guesthouse : Lovely place filled with Christine's good vibes. Incredible view of my beloved Marie-Galante from the restaurant downstairs.

We stopped in for dinner in Calibishie and were completely impressed.

The Dutch owner (who would expect that! ) is very friendly and helpful. She runs a beautiful guesthouse. Rooms are spacious, fully equipped and there's a mozzie net.

The rooms upstairs are big and breezy and very clean. Full of art and carefully maintained. Relaxed feel de luxe, with very nice and welcoming hosts. Self maintaining is possible.

The moment you arrive at the airport you will feel a weight lifted from all of your worries.

Valina worked incredibly hard to make my stay comfortable. I was happy to stay at a family owned B&B.

Wonderful find in Dominica! Only about 20 minutes from the airport (pricey taxi ride of $40 US). The apartment is in a small beach town, within walking distance to restaurants and a supermarket.

Worth the trip to Calibishie. Wonderful setting for an golden hour supper.

The Blue Whale is situated just outside of the main part Calibishe. The hillside location allows views from all levels of the house. They have built a deck on the lower hillside along with a hot tub.

Beautiful tiny little family run craft gin, with everything possible sourced from the garden directly behind the house. You’ll get a tour of it all!

A lovely place run by wonderful people! We had a tour of the gardens where we saw and learned about the botanicals used in making their gin.
