Simple rooms, but friendly staff and good breakfast.

Super hotel very nice staff and 1a breakfast. In the evening you can have a wonderful drink in the bar or on the terrace. The port is right outside the door and in it city it is also not far about 10 min.

I do not know who ever have given this hotel less than 5 stars, but that person wasn't being honest. Great selection for breakfast. Loved the smoothies. I ate like there was no tomorrow. With kind and well-mannered staff. I asked for an iron hand it inmediately. Wifi. Clean. Food. Everything was ok!

Too regular for a 4 star hotel. Lake of variety at breakfast from day to day, although is good. Good level of cleanliness. Great location: quiet and near the center.

My stay at the hotel was great! There was a mix up with my reservation upon my arrival, I was not able to get into the room I had reserved but the staff was very helpful. The got me another room at a hotel close by, paid for the taxi to and from the other location and upgraded me to a suite for the remaining 2 nights. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and they were always ready to help. I would stay here again in a heart beat (and im actually heading back tomorrow! ) The location of the hotel was amazing, right in the water and within walking distance to any and all things you would want to do in Aalborg.

Good hotel made excellent by the staff The hotel is giving good rooms and a very nice (Danish) breakfast. The gym is basic but sufficient. Location is on the outskirts of the actual town center and nicely on the fjord.
The staff will go out of the way to make you welcome and is extremely helpful.
I have been coming there for many years and is my favourite in Aalborg.

Bang smack in city center bordering the harbour. Clean, quiet with friendly & helpful staff — and an extremely well stocked breakfast buffet. Have stayed previously at First Europa near the congress center, but will say this place is slightly better in terms of location. Next time I am in Aalborg, FHA will be my chosen accommodation…

Very good hotel but not enough places for parking.

I stayed two nights at the First Hotel Aalborg and I have to say that it's a good (or nearly very good) hotel. The staff was all pleasant and helpful, always with a smile on their faces. The breakfast was very good, considering it's a three star hotel (I've had a lot worse at 3*** and the same quality at 4****). While the room was big, I don't think it was anything special. I usually prefer carpet on the floor, which wasn't the case at this hotel. For my purposes, I think the hotel was well located — close to the University and within a 5 min walk to the center of town. In a 1 hour walk, I managed to have a look at the core of the city. What made this hotel special was the fitness centre which was appreciated.

Great and very clean hotel. The staff is kind, the rooms are very comfortable. Better than the 4* hotels.

Great hotel in a great town. The front desk had a great beer and wine selection.
