Bad service a lot staff there but only one person is working with long face the rest of them just chatting.

The staff at the is hotel is one of the most helpful and friendly I have encountered in Prague hotels and they are the credit to this company. Breakfast had a good selection of cakes, salads, breads, hot food and omelets made to order. The location is also good next to metro line A and tram stop. Unfortunately the rooms on 3rd floor are very old and run down. The room itself is clean with comfortable twin bed but many items are broken or cracked. The hotels is undergoing refurbishment, which is much needed. The rooms need to be brought to 21st century. Once the refurbishment is completed I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Good Hotel! The room was good and the service was great as well, there were many different kinds of food that you could choose from for breakfast (Asian Bar, Pancakes, Salad, Yoghurt and much more). The only thing that wasn't good was the fact that the roof terrace (that was mentioned everywhere when we booked our room) had closed down permanently. Otherwise great hotel with good public transport connections to get into the city centre.

Clean and comfortable room. UK power socket as well as EU. Squeaky air conditioning so had to switch off at night. Reception staff less smiley than you'd hope. Door key had to be re-done. Excellent breakfast! Everything you could possibly want to eat and friendly staff to help. High chair quickly produced for toddler. Two metro stops to airport bus which was much quieter and quicker than the express from nádraží hlavní would have been.

Here to attend conference. Not staying. So can't say much about the hotel.

Not the best place by a long way to stay in Prague. The rooms are ok, nothing special. Food is OK if you take Breakfast, but at best it is a scrum. You want a drink in the bar, hope you have a big wallet and patience while they serve those who shout loudest… House wine £25, yes that's right £25 for a mediocre white. Don't let it spoil your trip but be aware that there are nicer and cheaper places near-by.

Nice, solid 4 star hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly. Facilities and room were fine. Sometimes, tiny details make a difference. For example, when the maid brought the iron and ironing board, she set them up, but not in the right place for me to plug the iron in. She could just as easily have set it up in the right place and saved me having to move it. Also the small gifts, for hanging the bag outside to show there was no need to clean the room next day, were chocolate wafers, which I don't eat.

Very convenient location of the hotel, quiet area, Metro stop and tram in minutes availability. Full and varied breakfasts, plenty of choice for gourmets. It is a pity that we could not use the rooftop terrace (there was a renovation). So promised in the announcement pool was a Jacuzzi bath for an extra fee). But there is a massage room and fitness center. Overall the price and quality is good, recommend.

Great stay, the only downside was outdated AC — we had west facing room and it was way too hot to sleep without it on. Problem is — it is LOUD. Otherwise really recommended. Also visit Katsura restaurant on floor — 2.

The general quality of the room, but the products of toilet proposed are not very good.

If you need a hotel from which to quickly reach the airport or exit from Prague or be close to the "Mala Strana" neighbourhood, the Vienna House can be of the right situation. Unfortunately the interior and the rooms have seen better days; The staff is friendly and is working to keep in order.

The room was a bit small-but more than adequate for a city trip!

As I wrote above, I liked the fresh pancake I could feature with chocolate, honey, fruits, nuts etc. The warm buffet — especially the smashing scrambled eggs with bacon, potatoes, grilled tomatoes, sausages and beans, the asian soup was a nice surprise for me and I also appreciated the gluten-free food. The only thing — there could be more fresh vegetables. The staff was nice and fast and offered me coffee from a barist. Very rich breakfast!

Arrived at the hotel it looks very different from the outside than as in the pictures. We were greeted by demotivated personnel and apparently the cleaning was not in the form.
Because in the room arrived we received a dirty carpet, animal hair in bed, stains in the bathroom and on the curtains. The whole thing adorned a thick layer of dust that went over the whole room.
After we asked the front desk, around 4pm (i. E. In 2 hours), when we go out to pick up a cleaning force, it was even after 5 minutes in front of the room.
She spoke neither German nor English — which is not a bad thing — but still I could feel a certain unkindness. She went through the room and indicated that everything was OK (she drove her finger through a layer of dust next to my bed! ), then she told me to call the front desk.
She took the handset after I had chosen, and walked with the cable phone for 10 minutes through the room — I wore this myself!
She talked aloud and then handed me the phone. I described the conditions in the room and the front desk was horrified.
After they spoke with the cleaning power again, they brought me to another room and pointed to the room with Fuchtelnden hands while they were — OK? Ok? Asked.
I was absolutely in shock and just meant yes… Thank you and I'm sorry.
The room was not so dusty, but it was littered with bright spots — on the furniture and in the bathroom!

Booked superior double but the room I was given was not. When I said that the room that I stay does not have 110V the women at the reception said by mockingly "Of course you are in Czech Republic". But I knew the superior doubles have one outlet that is 110V. I stayed there 2 weeks but no more. Beds are way too hard. Storage space is not useful. I could not turn on the heating because I made a horrible noise. TV signal is bad. Breakfast is great.

Good position to visit Prague, Staff very helpful and friendly… Many languages spoken. My stay 7 nights… Long enough! Breakfast buffet + a good omelette, bacon and sausage "well could be better" Room good size. Furniture etc a little old… TV channels need to be updated only English = CNBC, Russian Television and French 24… a bit Left of centre? it's All in the detail… Conceding it was Conference season. Didn't like! no tea ☕ or coffee ☕ in the room… FINAL POINT — 2 nights Max!

Nicely designed and well operated hotel in Prague. Location is good, not in the center but next to the public transportation. 4 stations to city center with subway. Many restaurants in nearby neighborhood. Breakfast is good, staff is nice.

Quiet room, nice service, varied breakfast. Ideal for rest. The Metro is next door and the hotel is located 30mn from the airport by Metro and bus.

It is about a 30 minute walk to the centre. The tram stops in front of the hotel. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is great.

Arrived by taxi from the train station to the hotel. Friendly Empfangspersoal has received us.
When checking in we had noticed that we had lost our exchanged money and the papers in the taxi.
Not a nice feeling.
We had received a great deal of support from all reception staff.
Above all, I would like to highlight. A professional receptionist little older dark-haired lady who spoke to us German.
Who has taken up contact with the taxi drivers.
After an hour, we had papers again.
Thank you to the staff.
So we had three more beautiful days in Prague.
We had in double room with two single beds, with the pillow there you could improve something.
In the bathroom the hand basin renovate proposal.
Thus, we also facilitate the work of the cleaning staff, if you have to renovate items that you need to maintain looks better.
Regularly vacuuming the flooring, paper baskets a bags would be wonderful. Cleaning staff because it's still not easy to praise it.
Thank you breakfast all you wanted was there. Super staff was very attentive.

Very nice hotel, with good location. Quiet and yet in the pulse of the city.
Access to the Metro in 2min on foot.
Parking spaces are available for about 8 euro, per 24h and are guarded.
Completely satisfied with our stay in February.

Very good service in a convenient location. Staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the room was not properly cleaned on the day prior to my leaving — although the beds were made and the towels changed, no other cleaning was done. Bin not emptied and glasses not washed. Bathroom not cleaned either. However, this was a minor irritation which did not affect the overall impression. The breakfast range was superb and was a highlight. The main feature of my stay was the friendly, helpful and professional service provided by Zdenka at the front desk. It was a pleasure to be assisted by someone so pleasant, particularly as it was my first time in the country and the environment was foreign to me. She is an asset to the hotel.

We booked this hotel via Groupon and had the superior room for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean. Breakfast very varied and fresh — also for late risers. The dinner was also delicious!
A cheap hotel with great service. Only information about excursions in Prague would have been nice.

Nice hotel, courteous staff, good location, clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was amazing and deserves special mention, there was a wide range of options including freshly prepared omlets and pan cakes. Only complaint we have is regarding its bathroom, desperately needs upgrade, sink was broken and that was in our so called Superior room.

Pretty nice hotel close enough to centre of Prague town (metro station next to the hotel). Clean, comfortable and modern rooms. The staff is polite and helpful. Nice coffee and drink options at the cafe of the hotel. Also it has a very good restaurant with tasty burgers.

Friendly, helpful staff on the check in desk set the scene for this hotel. The staff are all like that, whether in the bar, restaurant or anywhere else. The room we had was a reasonable size and comfortable with the facilities you would expect and whilst the bathroom was a little dated, everything worked. The best part though is the restaurant which is a self service buffet. The range of food was very good and varied and all tasted excellent!

Great hotel for public transport to/from the airport and town. Reception staff were very helpful and good with advise. Given 4/5 as the rooms were clean and a good size but felt they could do with modernising soon as they looked slightly dated compared to the rest of the hotel. Would return of if we come back to Prague.

A perfect hotel! The service very friendly and helped us in all our doubts. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was clean and noisy. Location 1 minute from the Metro, which is 3 stops from the Metro. So centric and not noisy.

I was very pleased. Arrived already at. 10.15 am and upgraded to superior room for free. The hotel is clean and tidy. The breakfast was really delicious and many things to choose from. I had questions to Prague and got good assistance. The hotel is 200 meters from the tram and metro. Takes only minutes to downtown. I did not see a single detail that was not alright. (stayed 4 nights a week ago).

A hotel with viejunas rooms, but it makes up for having the metro and tram at 50m and only 3 Pradas from the centre. Breakfast is acceptable. I didn't like the €8 for a couple of cafes at the bar.

Very clean though it is a bit old. Food is good as far as choice and quality are concerned. The location is excellent and the hotel is very clean.

It was a great hotel with great connections outside. The rooms was charming BUT the furnitures cannot have been changed since the opening. I stayed for a week and started sneezing when I went to bed from the first night. By covering the bed with several covers, the allergic reactions got better. I think even the mattress was old!

I found housekeeping did a great job and always a friendly acknowledgement when I saw them in the halls. Front desk was friendly, professional and courteous. Of course loved the breakfast and the hotel was great location. It was so quiet and I felt very comfortable. The bedding and pillow were amazing. Thank you for making my stay in Prague so nice.

4 Star Hotel in the heart of Prague. Very close to the metro station Dejvická, and 4 stops from the old town. Very large rooms with bathtub and radio. Well furnished and clean.

THE GOOD, Very clean, helpful staff, excellent location, good breakfast. THE BAD, Pillows (may be this large type of pillows are typically Czech style) but to us personally were very high and uncomfortable. So the provision of additional smaller pillows will be appreciable. The bed also was not the best in comfort and was a bit noisy. Towels although were clean and replaced daily if required, are thin and old. General state of the hotel could do with a little refurbishment. These are only minor criticisms, apart from the pillow, as we will stay at the hotel again if we visit Prague once more.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious. The bathroom modern. I would prefer a full fridge instead of an empty one. The location was good close to public transport.

Do not stay here if you want air conditioning in an hotel room. From the outside its a really nice place. The staff is excellent but the rooms are old. The air condition isn't enough to cool the room. Its hot inside even after on all day. I went outside and came back in and room was hotter then temp outside. Breakfast is very nice at least. For Americans consider this a very budget style hotel. But not up to the standards of even Motel 6 Other reviews people complain about the air condition. I should have listened and not thought "it can't be that bad". Yes it is.

It was very nice and the staff were very helpful. The location is fabulous as it's pretty much attached to the subway, with which you reach the center in three stops. There is also a Billa supermarket and a detergent shop, perfumes and the like, practically under the hotel.
Only little welcome surprise is that the SPA is paid and not included in the cost of the room, maybe it would have been more correct to specify that circumstance on Booking.

The breakfast seemed to vary in quality from day to day and appeared not to be fresh sometimes. Especially the scrambled eggs didn't taste well. And in the evening, the fish for dinner was overcooked. On Saturday, the room service came to our room at 8 o' clock in the morning while we were still sleeping and thus, got us up. The staff was friendly and the room was very nice, but the minbar seemed broken: It wasn't attached to the cabinet where it was in. Altogether, the stay was okay but not what I would expect from a 4 stars hotel.

Good afternoon!
A family of three persons rested with 30.12 on 06.01.2014. Room) ) ) improved on the eighth floor. Super mattresses, linen, towels, too, have a tea (tea coffee sugar cream) in the room. WF caught even in the room, although it is stated that only on the first floor will catch. Breakfast very diversified, fruit, cakes and pastries just freaky + 3 kg weight loss per week brought exactly. Location is also very pleased to the Centre on foot minutes 15-20.2 metro stations. A number of excellent restaurants and inexpensive! they are very much local! And this is what it says. I wish all the so relax.

Very noisy due to big construction works nearby which started at 6-00. Staff does not respect you, try to cheat. I don't recomend this hotel.

Great stay or we especially like the services of the Diplomat Hotel. The breakfast is excellent and the served e at the reception impeccable. We highly recommend the Diplomat Hotel for any tourist stay. Access to the hotel is ideal.

Designed and dedicated for customer's convenience. Cozy rooms, good breakfast, very good service, best employees at the resturant and the reception from my experience in hotels. The internet could be better. Thumbs up for the managment and ever greater success.

People working in Diplomat were extremely charming and cordial. Diplomat is a clean and beautiful hotel where we can even do fitness on the 9th floor with view on Prague (and not underground like in other hôtels)! We had our room on the side where we have a view on Prague's Castle which was wonderful! I even heard that there will soon be a sky bar on the top floor :). I would definitely come back and stay there.
