Beautifully appointed and spacious rooms. The view was absolutely stunning, a stones through from the castle and very near beautiful parkland.

The staff were very helpful and friendly The room was very clean and spacious with a nice bottle of wine to welcome us. The hotel is in a great location for visiting the castle but from the old town it is a up hill walk.

Beautiful hotel, room, view and location. Right at the base of the Prague castle. Wonderful coffee and breakfast included. Only downside was the water for the shower intermittently was hot then cold in the morning.

Charming hotel — a bit older but I loved the character. Very clean hotel and rooms had everything we needed. Staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was ok, but it’s hard to beat stopping in a local shop for a pastry and cafe. The best part is the location, at the foot of Prague Castle and Petrin Hill, only a few minutes from St. Charles bridge.

The location of this hotel is amazing. It's at the foot of Prague Castle and a short walk to Charles Bridge. The facade of the hotel looks uninspiring but the interior, especially the room, is modern, clean and well-proportioned in size. We love the separate bathroom door, which gives us lots of privacy, huge windows that allow plenty of natural light in, above all, the high ceiling makes the room appear even bigger. The reception is extremely helpful and friendly… we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

I love it! The rooms were amazing! They look just like the pictures! I did som reading about the hotel a while before we went, and it said to ask for an upgrade if possible, so we upgraded from a standard room to a deluxe, and it was amazing! The room was huge and airy, modern and wonderful! The view was breathtaking! The location is perfect right next to the palace and with a view to die for but not more then ten minutes walk from the Karls bridge! The staff is super friendly and breakfast is great! I can not praise this enough! I would love to return here soon!

The Hotel is very close to the castle.
Some rooms are a little small and the breakfast is nothing special.
There is a tea and coffee maker In the room.
Better to book larger rooms.

Stayed at the Golden Star for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating, and the hotel is in a great location. At the front desk, "Jiri" was especially helpful in giving advice each day on getting around Prague. Many others that were helpful also. Room was clean and comfortable.

Great service, exceptional location stuck on the castle. The buffet in the morning is very good.

Amazing Hotel right by the Castle — staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and well appointed. First thing in the morning and at the end of the day it becomes a real haven for peace and quiet when everyone else is down in the centre. You are well away from the stag and hen parties which was just what we wanted. Explore the little alleyways and you will find lots of little bars and restaurants.

Good hotel with nice facilities, the only downside is accessibility. It is at the top of a hill and not near many local transportation. The good part though is it is very close to the castle.

What a beautiful place! We had a view of the whole of Prague from our window and a amazing part of history 150 Meters from the main door. This place should be 5 stars. Breakfast was not so luxurious but not at all something to worry about. Room was sparkling clean and they let me bring my pet rabbit :)

Great location! Walking distance to the castle and 10 min walk from the old city. Situated near a lot of shops. The room were huge and very clean. The breakfast buffet was big and inviting. The staff was extremely helpful with any request we had. Overall the experience was good.

We didn't stay at the hotel but we are at the restaurant. We had the old bohemian dish. It was really delicious. The staff were very friendly too.

Cute hotel with pretty facade by Prague Castle, close to Charles Bridge. At the edge of the tourist-axis between the Castle and old town. Also close to Petřín Park. Quiet neighborhood in the night and busy in the afternoon. Several good cafés and restaurants nearby as well as in the Hotel. Spacious rooms, some with great views over the City. Friendly and helpful staff. Good cold and cooked breakfast. Decent coffee. Would recommend it to my friends.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel which we booked via Trivago. Initially we had a room at 1st floor, but we were allowed to move to another room at 4th floor the next day. There we have experienced a wonderful cozy room with an unbelieveable view of Prague Old Town through the window. The area couldn´t be better — the hotel is located in the Mala Strana district, near many attractions, pubs, restaurants and directly at the castle (2 min. Walk). Several tourists took pictures of the hotel due to its attractive antique look. Breakfast was included in the price and absolutely OK and sufficient. The hotel unfortunately does not have a parking, but parking is located in the immediate vicinity (cost 15 euro / night). It is unbelieveable to get such a standard in such an area at such a low price. In other European cities one would pay min. 4x for a comparable standard. Absolutely highly recommended to everyone! When we come back one day to Prague we will definitely book the same hotel.

Perfect hotel. Superb location. Practically adjacent to the Castle. Big breakfast. Not many rooms. Free Wi-Fi in the room. Beautiful results. The TV has programs in Italian, but you can set Euronews in Italian. I recommend it.

Hello, I visited this restaurant during my holidays at Prague and I can really recommend it. The food was excellent and people are very nice and professional.
