Really good pension that's very close to the city center of Litomerice. The host greeted us in fluent English in a very nice manner. He referenced us to a nice restaurant where we had an excellent dinner for a low price. The breakfast the next morning was tasteful, especially if he home made crepes with home made marmelade. Furthermore the Wi-Fi had a good signal with a relatively fast connection (around 600 kB/s down and 200 kB/s up). On top of that they displayed all their prices in Euro's as well as Czech Koruna's which to our experience is rare. The only real downsides where an awful smell of Eucalyptus or something in that region in some the hallways and the third bed they placed for is which was just a hard-topped couch… Don't forget to buy a jar of the delicious marmelade they also sell next door!
The room was in the attic which would be fine in itself, however, it was rather shabby. Very old fashioned.
The duvet cover smelt and felt like it had not been washed in some time. I felt grubby sleeping in it. There was no shampoo or shower gel but rather a disinfectant hand wash in the shower.
There was tea and coffee facilities. There was no safe. The breakfast was fine. Overall there was a feeling of lack of cleanliness about the room.

We are on a cycling holiday so we get to a new hotel room each night and there’s a few essentials:
1. Hot shower.
2. Space to have a kit explosion.
3. Comfy bed.
The room was quirky but comfortable. It ticked all our needs and and added bonus… plenty of space to dry wet clothes which was essential as it had rained all day and our clothes were drenched.
The owner was very nice and friendly. He recommended a fantastic restaurant for dinner. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty and you should definitely try their home made jams!
One final thing, it’s in an excellent position, just 1 minute walk from the main square… but that 1 minute meant it was much quieter and there was no street noise.
