Iliada Beach Hotel

This hotel does not live up to expectations. It does have great potential as structurally it is very nice, clean and hygienic and in a good position. However the restaurant is more like a canteen, food average. Staff need training in personal skills: many waitors walked around in front of guests and looked like bouncers. Some reception staff were great but others very dismissive. We had an amusing — but not good emough — response to a plumbing issue — ie the sink plug didnt link underneath — it could be pulled out completely! so the sink couldnt hold water. We described this, and after a 45mins wait a maintenance guy came. After a couple of promises that he was on his way I stood at reception obviously waiting. He exained the sink and after 2 minutes triumphantly showed me that the tap worked! He than appeared to understand the real problem, said '5 mins'. However by the end of the holiday he had not been seen again…

After reading some of the recent reviews I was a little worry. But I could not disagree more. The food was delicious, plenty of choice… always something for kids (chips, chicken nuggets, pizza, butgers) so no idea what are some people complaining about. You have paid and booked a 4 star hotel so don't expect a 5 star service 😉. Rooms were cleaned daily, fresh towels every day, beach towels changed every day at the reception. Entertainment (live music) every night. Fany is the nicest person you can meet 😍 she was super nice and my little boy loved her. We had a lovely time and we would recommend this hotel to everyone 😊 Thank you 😊

Would recommend it as it is close to the beach and main street where all the fun is. Staff is nice and forthcoming. Some questionable things happen to be with the drinks when you order them on the supper, one person says you can get a coffee, then the other denies it… Overall, it was better than expected, would visit it again and definitely can recommend.

This Hotel was extremely good with friendly helpful staff. Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. Food was excellent with a wide choice to suit everyone's taste and varied from day to day, breakfasts were also very good. The hotel was situated in a great place with easy access to the beachfront which gave access to miles of lovely walks in either direction. The area was VERY geared to disabled people being very flat and easy to use a disabled scooter as I did. On the last day my Daughter in Law felt unwell and the hotel extended our departure time to give her time to recover, they did not charge for this and we were very appreciative of the wonderful service they gave us. Would highly recommend this Hotel and I hope to visit there again soon.
Anyone giving a negative review I would consider very picky.

On arrival, we discovered that we did not get the room we paid for. We paid for a twin lateral sea view, and we got a double, I have disability and need a bed to myself due to cramps and other issues, in order to avoid disturbing my mrs sleep Hence, we always pay for a twin room, when we arrived we asked to get a change and we where told thr hotel is full. We did ask again the morning. The manager did try to help by putting a single bed in the room? Alongside the double, the room became very cramped. The following day, we did get a change of room, which was a twin room but less of a view, so rather than causing any more grief, we just settled for the twin room with the lesser view. The rooms and furnishings are in dire need of change, the beds are thread bare, and sagging, making for uncomfortable sleep. The food in the restaurant is a disgrace, very little choice, most of the meat dishes have mushrooms in them, I have an intolerance to mushrooms which means the choice for me is extremely limited, and the meats are dry and overcooked, if it wasn't for chips I would have nothing to eat. This hotel is rated as a 4-star hotel. However, it's not worthy of a 2 star, let alone a 4 star. Would I recommend this hotel? The short answer is NO. The only thing which is in the hotels favour is its location, I can't fault the staff, the staff are working with the tools they have and try to keep everyone happy.

The rooms were very clean and tidy, the Internet was fast and almost covered the beach area, we had a room with a nice beach view and it was really beautiful, you could see the sunrise and it was really pretty. The food was nice, They had really good salads. The pool was nice, but the beach was everything, clear sea water and golden sand… it was really amazing. The staff was really nice and helpful.

We booked b&b having already had experience with Tsokos hotels. The breakfast was awful, we bearly ate, thank God for boiled eggs and pastry. The hams had a funny smell so we avoided having anything from that section. Also the whole dining area with food looked filthy.
We stayed at Silver sands last year so we knew how it will be, but we choose the hotel for the location, and our room was nice.
The staff is very unmotivated, not very friendly.
Also we stayed at the partial sea view room and it was quite noisy from the bars on the streets and the hotel bar that plays loud music even though no one literally no one sits there. We also had noisy guests above us fighting and shouting half the night ofc the hotel staff didn't do anything about it.
We booked our trip last minute so we didn't have much choice everything was already booked, so we decided to choose this hotel only for it's location, and we're surprised with the room.

I had to take quick showers (2mins) because water was getting out to the room. I raised issue. Nothing was done about it. Karaoke from bars on main road till 1am so poor sleep quality. Cleaning service was good tho, plus for this. Balm, shampoo and conditioner provided, so also a plus for this one. We had to switch on constantly our electricity back by ourselves as our room was loosing power, even when nothing was plugged. Plus for location… Beach hotel, beautiful beach. Shops and restaurants nearby. Depends from ppl standards, this hotel can be miss or hit…

We had an amazing stay at the hotel mostly thanks to the night receptionists and bartender. We had the pleasure of being served by Jeremie during our stay and he made a significant impact on our experience. From the ymoment we arrived, Jeremie greeted us with a warm and genuine smile, making us feel immediately welcome. We loved visiting the bar and chatting to Jeremie. We will definitely return and visit them again.

First day reception staff was VERY rude and that was my very first impression of the hotel unfortunately. Every other staff member was excellent, always saying hello with a smile and that's why I'm not taking off more than one star as it's not fair to everyone else.
Pool was nice and quiet, great location to just go for a swim in the sea and then shower and get into the pool. Pool bar staff also very friendly and nice.
Rooms were OK, could definitely use some upgrade in linen. They had side views to the hotel next door. Overall quiet.
Breakfast was good, maybe coffee could be nicer and I wouldn't touch the juices from the automatic dispensing things.
Overall would return, as long as I am not welcomed by the same ladies in reception as I did on day 1 :)

My stay at the hotel has been lovely. Building is kept nice and clean, including my room. Staff friendly and approachable and help to create a relaxing and fun atmosphere shout out to Olga and Varsamis for personally helping me with planning my stay👍 Every day was great and filled with things to do.

Hotel is near to the beach. Excellent service of the staff and very helpful mangers team. Food was very nice. Variety of option on breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms are big and clean. The view from my room is breath taking. Just loved our stayed here. Overall great experience with my friends and make a lot of memory.

We went as a big family with children I was scared if they would like it or not but not only liking they love it. They love and enjoy their stay. We book for a week after we extended to another week and definitely we're coming back again. Everything is perfect we didn't find any complain to made. Staff, food, drinks, rooms, bars Everything on point to point.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Staff are very friendly and helpful… Food delicious and very tasty. Rooms are very nice and clean… Everything is located near the hotel for example shops, restaurants, bars. Recommended this hotel 100%
