Golden Star Beach

This was our third stay at this hotel, and once again, it was absolutely faultless. We had originally booked another hotel in the area this time round for our wedding trip, but sadly, it turned out to be terrible — especially disappointing given how special the occasion was. It caused far more stress than we needed at such an important time, so we decided on a whim to come back here to see if there was any chance of getting a room. Thankfully, there was one left!
The staff couldn’t have been more kind or accommodating. They went out of their way to help us get settled quickly, and within an hour we had checked out of the other hotel, moved here, and finally started to relax. Their professionalism and genuine care really saved our wedding week!
The hotel itself is spotless, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The pool area is lovely — always clean, with plenty of space. The location is perfect too: just a couple of minutes’ walk to the beach and only a short stroll to the main strip with all the shops, bars, and restaurants, yet still quiet enough to relax in peace.
Having stayed here two times before over the past couple of years, it’s brilliant to see that the high standards have not only been maintained but seem to get even better each time. The staff are consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on making every guest feel welcome.

Were do I start what a wonderful 9days we have had at the golden star. I booked the superior apartments for a self catering holiday the facilities in these apartments were excellent. The maid service was excellent towels changed daily bedding changed 4 times exceptionally clean when we arrived top marks. The reception staff very helpful. The 2 pools were great for our grandchildren that we took with us and the beach a hundred yards from hotel. My wife and I have stayed in numerous 4 star hotels over the years and for a self-catering hotel this was up with there standards. Would recommend for families on a budget pick this hotel.

Stayed here last week. Opted for a superior 1 bed apartment as read these were nicer. Stayed in room 510. Happy with the room. Really spacious with comfy bed & pillow. Room clean most days. Staff friendly & always said hello.
Nice pool area, Not too busy being october which was great. Like others have said sunbeds not very comfy & dated but hey they are OK.
Stayed bed & breakfast. Breakfast very basic & found a bit repetitive but it was OK. Saying that, restaurant was beautiful overlooking the beach!
Location fab — turn right & you on literally on the beach, turn left & a few 100m up the hill & you are on the strip. Good nightlife but not too mad.
All in all a lovely stay. Would stay here again.
