We were there for the third time in May. I loved this hotel. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed this year.
It was stupid also the rainy season and associated many mosquitoes, but that was not the biggest problem.
The rooms are very nicely furnished, but compared to the last years, the walls were so damp that the entire walls were full of mold and we had to change the air conditioning to get the moisture out of the bedding.
Shower bath and co were only available for one person, despite double rooms.
The maids were very friendly and also lovingly designed the beds and towels.
The staff no longer cares if sectarian guests had their dirty feet on the table. Bad enough that guests perform like this. Even worse, if the staff cannot or cannot do anything about it.
In the lobby area, it was lucky to find seats where there was little mould on it.
I got a rash of it.
The specialty restaurant was wonderful. Clean, well tempered and very nice service.
In the restaurant for breakfast and co, a lot has changed. Some of them are still the old staff there, who were very nicely attentive. But unfortunately you only feel the hunt for the most drink-loving guests.
It would also be necessary to consider whether to adapt the air conditioning to the weather conditions, then you do not have to sit at the table in thick jackets.
The theatre is probably still broken around so the evening program ran in the discotheque. Of course, this does not have the effect and it is restless because the seats are not sufficient.
The toilets were well prepared during the day, but in the evening when there was a lot of operation, you had to look first for paper and then for a reasonably clean toilet.
We left completely soaked, because they also had no rain protection.
