Zagreb Soul Hostel Hostel

The hostel is on the fourth floor (some rooms, like mine, are on the fifth), and the elevator is broken. No lights on the stairs at night either. The smell of cigarette is everywhere, which is not surprising considering the staff smoke just outside the door for the complex, but still inside a building! When reserving, I was told my room would have ac, and that I would receive towels for my stay. However, none of the rooms have ac, and the towels I was offered are about the size you use for a newborn child. Also, only method of payment is cash, and don’t expect them to have change. All in all, terrible place. It even looks like a mental hospital (see pictures). Please spend a little more and find yourself a decent hotel.

Very clean and comfortable, in the heart of Old Town. Lockers are provided with your room. The bunks have shades so you can have privacy, toilet and shower are in the room. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

I just made my 2nd reservation so I guess that means my 1st one visit was great. It is stays like that, you've got permanent guest :)

Good and stable Wi-Fi signal, very clean, with all the facilities and super nice staff. A bit far from the centre, but perfectly doable. Great quality for the price. Would absolutely recommend!

Cool place, a little bit apart from the centre. The kitchen is small for a hostel that big. Staff was really nice and gave us lots of info about the city. I would recommend keeping your valuables in the lockers since everybody can get inside everywhere, unless you lock the room from inside.

I don't like to pay 32€ to sleep with cockroaches. The building, like all around, is really old and the handles of the window and the shower need to be fixed! At least, there is a billard (even if every part of it are broken) and the common showers are well cleaned.

Great staff, SOUL peeps, clean beds, clean sheets, clean floors, clean bathrooms… Right in center, close to everything, quiet and comfy to sleep in… givin' it high five! All star! :) Cheers! ;)
