My first time and certainly not the last. Clean Hostel and rooms, staff friendly, cheap … ✌

The room is clean and comfy with lots of space. There are also easily accessible lockers to keep all your stuff safe. The bathroom is hygienic and the kitchen looks alright though we didn't use it. The staff were helpful and the area around the place was rather scenic. Overall my friend and I enjoyed our stay and were glad we went to this hostel.

Definitely the best hostel in Zagreb! It's always clean, the beds are super comfortable, good Wi-Fi signal, great location. But most important: the staff and the volunteers are super friendly and helpful. At Funk Lounge Hostel you will feel at home and make good friends! Highly recommended!

Amazing hostel we were alowed to organise our own party in there for a realy good price stayed there wirh 40 people. For 3 days!

Great place for a hostel. Had the entire room for a group of 4, bathroom was clean with the necessary facilities. Only con was the positioning of the power points for the upper deck beds. The hosts were very helpful in providing information and even helping us ordered food when we checked in at around midnight. The hostel also has their own bar and place to chill and dine at.

So bad I have not lived in my life. We deliberately wanted a Hostel for a night. But: Even for the trip not have adequate accommodation, rather one should turn to his beds in a pedestrian underpass. Already when Entering the hostel, it was received by the receptionist in no way, on the contrary, she turned on the Radio. She cared not a bit for your guests. The rooms were really bitter. You are, apparently, not been cleaned, dust everywhere, on the bed a large white patch covers of unknown origin. The shower was almost falling apart, the drain smelled disgusting. Now, we must not forget that this is a Hostel, but the cleanliness should be established in each unit no matter what price class. Actually the room is even nice and with proper care, this Hostel may be very much Herma. Too bad.

They have a really good service, and the personal so kindly! It's a very good place to stay.

One of the nicest hostels I ever stayed in and with the friendliest staff ever (if you're lucky to meet who I met). The rooms are modern and cozy, they offer a towel and the location is superb! Will definitely come back.

I had read positive opinion about hostel and its staff, so I hoped that it would be really nice, but it wasn't. The lady which welcomed us was unfriendly, we didn't get a welcoming shot of rakija and our room stank. In brief it looks like house, where live junkies. / Nie polecam, dawno nie spałem w takiej ruderze!

Clean and nice rooms with friendly and very helpful hosts. You have big lockers and a shared bathroom. Only con is the lack of personal electrical socket near the bed but it's only a detail, especially considering the very cheap price for the stay. Would recommend.

After an unsuccessful attempt for leaving Zagreb behind, we were back in Zagreb trying to find, in this busy Saturday night, a place for resting our hitchhiker’s bodies. And we actually found much more than that. We had one of the best welcome from Pamela (a truly hostel member, who was there for better or worse) and we also meet part of the funky team (who happens to be there) who helped us get rid of the bad mojo we had that day. Really good people, really involved in the alternative scene of Zagreb. They’re not in the middle of the old town, but you can catch sight of the daily life in Zagreb staying there and reach easily the Maksimir park and all the underground spots of Zagreb. Hope to come discover Zagreb deeper, but you guys are anytime welcomed in Cluj. All the good for you guys, Claudia and Claudia.

Each room has a private bathroom. Wi-Fi is poor in rooms. But in the hallway and kitchen quite fine.

I came here to say how much grateful I am to had staying in this hostel two weeks ago during my interrail.
I forgot my wallet with a great amount of money in the bar of the hostel and I only realized that when I was on my way to Budapest. I couldn't go back.
I called to the hostel, they found my wallet at the bar and kept it safe.
They did everything they could to return me the wallet. So they send to my home country. When I get back to Portugal from my trip, I had the wallet in my mailbox.
I'm glad I had stayed in this hostel. Awesome staff and conditions.

Funk hostel is the best hostel in Zagreb! It is very clean, comfortable and on good location! There is bar and restaurant in the hostel with a cheap and nice food. Just across is a grocery store and 5min from hostel is beautiful Maksimir park. Staff is very friendly and informative! Excellent place to stay.
