Luggage was stolen from our car, parked in the secured, paid parking garage the hotel uses. Garage & hotel claim no responsibility (Surprise, surprise) Apparently they have security walking around & cameras, yet can’t located the footage needed?!?!?! Also acused us of fabricating the story because this has NEVER happened before sounds fishy at best! Let down since we wasted a day of our trip being interrogated by local cops on a power trip and are now without our stuff. Would not recommend this hotel if traveling by car and looking for a safe spot to leave your car, especially after paying a healthy fee for the spot!

A convenient location in the heart of the city, the sights are a short walk away. And the breakfasts are delicious.

Nothing fancy, but completely adequate for a place to sleep, shower and enjoy a hearty breakfast (included). Opportunities for improvement: furnishings are a little tired; shower temp was hard to control; and AC dripped a bit. Positives: friendly and hardworking staff; super convenient location near train station, metro, grocery market, park promenade up to old town (easy walk), and Dollar/Thrifty car rental; and a satisfying breakfast. We would stay here again.

Rude & Moody Receptionist. Big Disappointing Amazingly Moody Receptionists: Not exaggerated. The location of the hotel is good. Very closed to the train station but still a bit far (kiliometers away) from the town center. What's so pity about the hotel is they have an unhappy team of receptionists. Feeling sorry for the hotel owner and really wish the owner read this review as well as the rude receptionist. You should look at CCTV and monitor this guy I'm gonna tell you. He will know the situation immediately when he read this. Many witnesses. Sadly the receptionists did not wear any name tag. But what he did to many guests I knew it might be his intention not to wear one. We wanted to leave our luggages for a night. After travelling around the world, we know some hotels do not allow. Understandable. So we asked one of the receptionists first and he said yes we can. Just leave them here when you leave. That was the promise the hotel gives to a customer. Here the moody one comes. He looks like a senior one wearing eye glasses. We came down to dropped our bags. Seeing him just scold away a couple of Latin guests. The lady looked angry too. Anyway we told him to check out and drop the bags. He madly and loudly said 'WHAT! NO NO IT IS NOT AN AIRPORT. It is a hotel. Guest pay for room not for luggage'. We politely said one of your team members already allowed and accepted. He then said "ignore the other guy! ".

I enjoyed my stay. My only criticism was that I was unaware the cost did not include a taxe at the end which I was not expecting. I would recommend his hotel.

Good clean place, a little disappointing that the bar closes at 9pm and no food on offer except for breakfast. On the plus point it’s near the railway station and within a 25 minute walk on the town which is beautiful.

Good hotel for a short stay.

Building outside didn't look that new but must been renovated inside the guest room. Bathroom was very clean. Never seen bathroom that clean in other hotels that I have visited. Free Wi-Fi throughout inside the hotel. Breakfast was excellent but menu is same everyday. I was there for 4 nights. Staff at reception was helpful but there was this one guy serving during breakfast that was quite rude when I filled my own water jug with hot water to take to room (I did this only one time after this experience). There is no kettle in the hotel room and refrigerator was there but not getting colder.

Dirty (the elevator was not cleaned in a week), mold in the bathroom, light switch greasy, accustomed socialist standard…
Staff friendly, but bored and incompetent. Simple hygiene standards are not adhered to by the staff.
Breakfast boring and below average.

Good location Uncomfortable rooms.

Hotel Super cared nothing to say we had a great price for family accommodation. Recommend.

Nice charming Hotel — likes very much.

Nice hotel in a central location right across from the train station. Many places of the city within walking distance. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Cheap hotel on the spot. Clean and tidy. Staff multilingual and Nice. Unfortunately not quite contemporary.

Big Hotel room, cozy. Bathroom is nice as well. There is a small fridge but no minibar Only complaint is the tram outside which could be a disturbance to some.

Been to Hotel Central last week for 3nights. Very nice, good breakfast with friendly staff. Parking at low price.

Located very close to train station, to the southern end of the tourist areas of the city. Very comfortable bed. Hot water can dip out. Potential tram noise, depending if you want to sleep early / rise late. Good breakfast. Helpful friendly staff. I would stay here again.

We booked a night at the hotel, it is well located in the center of Zagreb. The service was good, the room and the bathroom were clean and with A/C and anything we needed. Three star because everything was good but nothing exceptional.

A good hotel near the city centre for a modest price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and air conditioned, which was great in the summer. Some of the furniture is a bit more dated, except for the bathroom, which seemed quite new. Breakfast was also great.

Absolutely Amazing. Will definitely be going back there because the member of staff at the front desk was amazing, he spoke perfect English and recommended trips for the rest of the holiday. The room was brilliant and clean. The bed was a great size maybe even a little too big! The location of the hotel was amazing too as it was just over the road from the station and right next to a well lit and used park. Breakfast was brilliant for me as it had a wide range of cooked and cold meats, fruits and pastries. However there could have been a little more choice for vegan/ vegetarian people I would gladly return and my girlfriend and I were upset that the booking was for only one night as we would have loved to stay longer.

Considering we rolled into Zagreb in the dead of night, without reservations and managed to get a room for our one night stay, we did well with this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and had a marvelous free breakfast in its humongous dining room. It was a short stay but a v. Good one. We tried to get a room a week or so later, but sadly the hotel was fully booked. I'd definitely stay there again.

Not bad but it has a great locaiton in the city cinter.
