Absolutely wonderful, kind and helpful staff! I cannot say enough about how wonderful they have been! The room is more than comfortable, hotel is centrally located to downtown and the food scene here is epic! The hotel has an amazing restaurant and I am very happy here! We shall be back! Thank you!

There is NO ac in the room. Came back to a HOT room. How to relax? They tell me its a central ac system n cannot do anything about it. Room became stuffy later.

Overall a very positive experience at the Astoria, Zagreb, the hotel is centrally located. The breakfast was well presented and a very good choice. The room was well maintained and a comfortable bed.

A very classic hotel with very interesting value for money and perfectly located close to the historic centre (15 minutes walk). The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The breakfast buffet (included) is super plentiful and good. There is also a very convenient parking lot.

Hotel staff very professional, no complaints there. Rooms are pretty small compared to other Zagreb hotels (Sheraton & Westin). Location is good, close to train, bus and downtown square. Breakfast included with room which is nice though limited selection.

It’s the perfect location to get to the town square to start your tours or do a self tour of the city. Rooms are clean, quite and the service is wonderful. Breakfast is included with an assortment of international needs. Good hot coffee and juices. Parking available if you rent a car, making it easy to not to deal with parking spots. Make this place your stop in Zagreb for convenience and comfort.

Nice hotel near the old part of town and a couple of minutes from the train station. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Some of the rooms are small. In winter the room is cool. There are no outlets near the bed, it is very uncomfortable.

Good value in good location close to city center. Only few minutes away from the restaurant area. Great breakfast to start the morning. One star taken out due to outdated rooms when compared to those more modern hotels around Europe. My room was anyway clean and well maintained.

Nice hotel near the city center of Zagreb. I have a junior suite which was spacious, clean, and very affordable. The hotel itself is not new and shows a bit of patina here and there. All facilities are working though. Well, maybe with the exception of the lift which takes ages to arrive. I rather walked the stairs. Breakfast is okay, not spectacular though. Parking is convenient in the back of the hotel. All in all a recommendation if you are around.

Hotel conveniently located, not far from the city center, the staff are very attentive, the hotel offers many services, things I enjoyed very much, it is the breakfast, it is gargantuan by its variety of products offered, obliged that there is Your happiness, room side I had a suite, very good area, everything was clean, but according to me the decor is dated… It's style year 90, not too much my kiff. I would recommend this hotel nonetheless.

VVry nice hotel near the old town and the center of Zagreb. The hotel has good and very helpful service, breakfast varied and interesting. Very good price for a reasonable price! I would recommend if you are on a short business trip or have stayed with your family to get to know Zagreb. The location allows you to reach everywhere by foot a few to dozen minutes.

Very nice and pleasant hotel. The location is pretty central, it's just a few minutes to the main square. There's cold lemon water and iced tea in the reception for the guests and there's always a piano playing in the background which makes it very relaxing. The breakfast is good and has a good variety of things to eat.

Brand new Hotel. Central location. The guys in reception were very helpful. We were allowed to leave the car over the check out to be able to visit the city. Recommended.

From the moment my wife and I walked through the door the wonderful staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic, with a comfortable bed and well appointed mini-bar. Our free breakfast the next morning was sensational with both hot and cold options available.

Hotel Astoria is a very good hotel to stay in for a few days visit to Zagreb. Facilities and service are good and the hotel is situated within walking distance of many tourist attractions, restaurants and bars both in daytime and at night. Car parking is available in an enclosed area at the rear of the hotel. Staff were helpful in answering our questions and about places to visit. The hotel is good value on many levels and we would not hesitate to book this hotel again, if ever in Zagreb again.

Well placed quaint style.

Very cozy and located in the centre of Zagreb. Staffs are very friendly and breakfast in buffet style was delicious. Wifi connection was very good too. The only con part I found was the wall socket isn't placed next to the bed in the room I stayed. Anyway I would definitely like to come back here to visit Zagreb again!

Good location near the center. Room relatively small, but sufficient. Bathroom OK. Breakfast very good. We were fortunate to be greeted by a very helpful person. The parking lot is fine. A flat, the cover was too narrow for a double bed. Very good overall.

Efficient and pleasant staff. Tajana at the front desk was good and Marina in the dining room was excellent and friendly. Buffet was huge and varied, with plenty to choose from and good quality. The room was clean and large, but the shower was pretty small. Decor was a bit dated, but not in an unpleasant way. Call it perhaps "faded elegance. ". Loved the player piano in the lobby and complimentary ice water. Perfect location, and quiet even though it is on a busy street because of privacy blinds. The parking is secure and private.

Good location, kindness, all the comforts.

It was a horrible experience. It took them an hour to check us in because they gave away one of our 3 rooms. Then the air conditioning wasn't working and it was 28 degrees C or 83 degrees Fahrenheit in our room. I had to sit shirtless in the lobby in until 1 am because of the sauna room. Their response, sorry there is nothing we can do, no price reduction. Also we had to carry all of our own bags in because they don't have a bell hop or he was too lazy. This was minor but on top of the other stuff I would give my money to some other company that acts like they care and understands service. Oh I forgot, I was traveling with my family so was staying with my sister and we specifically requested twin beds because we are adults and that would be weird. Take a guess what kind of room we were given… Yeah, "no twins available". Had to wait to get a seperate comforter which we didn't end up needing because I barely slept laying in my underwear on the floor underneath the ac vent. Awfulness.

Very pleasant hotel with very friendly service.
The rooms are very well maintained, just at least make one any age notices. Crack/setting on the wall, broken floor lamp, loose door handles and overstretched staff at the clean up the breakfast table.
These are really only little things you can expect in more expensive hotels as well.
The car can get to the a us unpack the relaxed park directly in front of the hotel front desk and putting on the large secure backyard parking lot. According to request and agreement could we leave our car even after check out, some hours there.
Booked, we have a superior what left no wishes open for ca EUR 100.
If we again travel through Zagreb, we stop again right here.

The room was small with a view on a wall. For the 2nd bed and views of the Strasse… auch not…
