Just perfect… the people, the room, the beach… loved it. Wanted to stay longer… I will come back for sure!

We spent 11 days there and I‘d like to share some pros and cons: ➕staff is very friendly ➕perfect location, only 5 min walk to Bol and 5 min walk to Zlatni Rat ➕very clean ➕selection of food for breakfast ➕swimming pool is big and cool ➕Animation team is Great ➕aquarobics are great ➖sun beds at the pool are not so comfortable; you can’t lay down for more than 1/2 hours ➖ people reserve the sun beds at the pool with their towels for hours while not being there ➖egg food like omelet or fried egg are fried in the same room where you have breakfast; clothes smell like fried afterwards That’s it :)

Thank you for a nice stay! Especially to the staff! Never been to a hotel of this size with such nice, welcoming and friendly staff.

Apart from the highly stocked and plentiful international breakfast (which all the big hotels have) otherwise failed, it needs a modernization,
carpeting on the floor in the room and hallway, the worst floor you can find in busy places,
impractical bathtub, much better to have a basic shower,
air conditioning in the non-adjustable room, or 24 degrees or die of heat,
but the most serious thing, ants, ants in the terrace, ants in the bathroom, ants in the bed, claimed in reception, settled at well and better because two days later the bed was full again.

Paradise. Value for money excellent. A stone's throw from the sea. Dedicated staff, speaking French.

Ok hotel. The bungalows had 2 big rooms and a large bathroom. Small pool. Ok breakfast. Close to the beach.

Location is great, pool area is nice and their buffet is, but my experience at Hotel Borak was terrible. When we checked in our room smelt like someone just left the toilet, our TV antenna didn’t work so I couldn’t watch the World Cup games! On our second day there we went on a excursion, when I came back I found my room door being unlocked, room cleaner left it unlocked for hours with all my valuables in there, when I went to let the reception know what happened, the blonde lady was very rude and arrogant and her reply to me was “what do you want me to do about it”. On our last day the toilet stopped working it would flush water, so I went to reception and again the same blonde lady was there, as I was approaching her, she asked me “what’s your problem today? ” At that point I just could t wait to leave that place, I was over it! Rooms are also very old and need renovation! Overall very poor experience, WOULDNT GO THERE AGAIN!

I don't fully love the hotel exacly. Some staff acts pretty sloppy and cold but others are engaged and nice. The breakfast is very nice, many different choices of food and drinks, both healthy and unhealthy. The sea is pretty. Pool is ok. What I do not like is firstly the "towel on the pool chair" — situation. In the instructions it said it is fully not okay to place the towel on the pool chair when you're not there but the majority of pools there are empty with towels people have placed there to "use" later. Later, when we asked staff if there were any more chairs he recommended that we should go up early and place our towels there in advance even though the instructions said it was "forbidden". I would normally not have a problem with this since it's not a big deal and I don't really care but there were no seats avaliable at all and we had to wait for an hour. There were some avaliable in a corner but the staff said we couldn't have them. The seats with placed towels were empty for over an hour without anyone getting there. Just a small thing really but it would be nice with more seats by the pool since there is place for it. Another, bigger problem is the ant situations. In our room there is plenty of ants and I have a phobia of ants which is quite a problem they're everywhere in the bathroom. The fridge is not working well and is not very cold. The room isn't so dirty but it is a bit too old-fashioned. Another problem was the TV signal.

Very pleasant and super location. The food was quite okay.

I just came back from Brac and stayed at the Borak Bluesun hotel. My job as a former hotel manager can afford me to comment on the services and friendliness of this hotel. A special thank you to Darco from the restaurant, but all other staff have nevertheless given some indication of unprofessionalism. Friendly, attentive and customer availability at any time of the day. Whoever books a holiday in the village of Bol, Brac knows that he gets value for money. Once more, thank you for your kindness and hope to meet again.

Great hotel, a few steps from the sea.

Oh my god, what can I say on borak? We just got back from one week there! My best friend and I, had an amazing time here! Such a great team and accommodation! The team (receptionists specially Hvoje & Dennis, waiters and restaurant's chief) were so welcoming and caring to us! They gave us so many good advices on the Island! We really enjoyed our stay and our vacation in Brac! We definitely recommend Borak, even more if you like a true real scenery! Thanks from both of us! Leila & Sophie!

We come back it fits everything.

Rooms on the sea side correct with balcony (the strange thing is a small bird's nest and not wasps as I originally believed, no panic! ), clean pool, sea at 2 steps.
Room Service to review: They forget every day to recharge the minibar! Reception Service at the top. Service of the snack bar very uneven (it applies to any bowl: wait for you to never receive one or two items of your orders)
Just missing a DS supermarket … and a better bed!

Pleasant Hotel. Family friendly. 10 minutes away from the Golden Horn.

Hotel commendable. Heavenly Location. We took advantage of an offer and it paid very little. On the sea and close to the village connected by a cycle-pedestrian track. I strongly recommend.

The hotel is part of a hotel complex all close by. In addition to the classic rooms, it is also equipped with mini apartments, in a resort a little ' further back from the actual hotel. We were reserved just one of these beautiful mini apartments. With terrace, bedroom with climate, sitting room with satellite TV, minibar and climate and a nice spacious and modern bathroom.
There is a possibility to eat in the hotel which I highly recommend. Dinner is buffet and you can find a bit of everything. They offer a great variety of dishes from meat to fish, from pizza to vegetables, and then ice cream and desserts of various kinds. All for 9 Euro per person drinks not included.
The breakfast is rich and plentiful, also and buffet and there is only spoilt of choice on what you want to eat from the sweet to the savory.
Near the apartments there is ample parking, accessible only by card. Which is issued by the hotel at check in.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. And it goes to the beach in front of the hotel.
In the apartment we found as welcome, two bottles of fresh water, a tray of fresh fruit and even a prepaid SIM card of the local manager with 100 minutes, to be able to use on site.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and also speaks Italian, which is always a great thing.
The hotel has a very nice swimming pool and provides a range of 10% discounts to be availed in some local agreements in the centre of Bol.

Great location, right next to the beach. Beds are comfy and food is great.

Great for family vacations. For couples though I prefer Elaphusa.

Awesome food, great staff, nice pool and amazing animateurs (Vladka/Dragan/Violetta)! Bungalows are new and clean with self-steering air condition with remote. Really worth coming there! Half-board is really great, but not as awesome as all inclusive.
