Stop reading this review and book Plitvice Hills NOW! One of the best places we stayed at in Croatia let alone in the top 5 of our world travels. Situated in the countryside only 15 away from Plitvice Lakes National Park, this was well worth staying outside of the park to enjoy the pool, hot tub and personal service/love that you’ll receive here. Dinner was out of this world and breakfast had a great selection of goodies along with fresh eggs from their own chickens. Rooms are spacious, have AC, satellite TV and Wi-Fi. Maria and her husband have a very special place and we would go back in a heartbeat.

Locale accogliente e moderno, situato ad una quindicina di km dal parco di plitvice. Il personale è disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta, ottima la colazione. È possibile cenare previa prenotazione anticipata in quanto la cena è preparata al momento in base alle richieste di chi soggiorna. Per il pranzo, è possibile prenotare una "launch box" da poi utilizzare in un eventuale escursione nel parco vicino. Decisamente consigliato. Ottimo soggiorno ed esperienza in generale.

Friendly, well run family business. The welcome was warm, the house and rooms were modern, the seeing is lonely and picturesque, the additional dinner was home cooked and trout was tasty. There's even a hot tub! It's also well situated a short drive from the main Plitvice Park entrance.

This is a beautiful family run Guest House. An older building that has been recently renovated. The home cooked meals are very good as well as the breakfast buffet. Definitely would return if we come to Croatia again.

Amazing place to stay. This family run guesthouse is so beautiful and the family are great hosts. Would definitely recommend eating breakfast and dinner here — you definitely won't be hungry after!

Excellent guest house — one of the best guest houses I've made. The room was so beautiful, comfortable and most of all it was so clean! I really feel relax and at home. We did not hear the noises of the road neither people in the other rooms. It was perfect! The owners are very nice and friendly! We really enjoyed our days there. I strongly recommend. NB: we did not taste their breakfast or lunch package but we should have, it seems good :-)

Great service! Awesome family run guest house that will provide everything necessary for your experience of this area! Rooms are spacious and clean! Outside, the surroundings are magical you have a beautiful lawn and a hot tub. NP Plitvice is a smooth 10 minute ride. This is a place that everyone should experience. They offered a unique experience and I was extremely pleased. I will definitely be coming back to this property.

Beautiful place, located in great location to reach Plitvice Lakes, very comfortable property. Staff very kind and helpful for any need, we felt really spoiled. Excellent breakfast, wide choice for all tastes. Good value for money. I recommend it!

The best booking decision we have ever made! Welcomed with such warmth by the Matejcic family into their home, spent hours talking and drinking with them into the night and ended up with friends for a lifetime! From detailed tips and directions for local sight seeing, surprise pancakes after a long tiring day at the Plitvice Lakes, being treated to and gifted a small takeaway present of their homemade plum schnapps and the famous local beer to going over and bringing their very lovable dog Ruby to meet us before we left just cause we requested so — their personalized attention really melted our hearts! Humans, not places, make memories! Matejcic family were an amazing host and did everything possible to make our trip and stay at Plitvice a memorable one! the property is a new built and has all the modern amenities and fixtures! Don't miss out on the hearty breakfast served with much love! Every morning we were welcomed with a wide smile and a few jokes! Great place, great host, and close to NP Plitvice.

This place was a wonderful find. Family run guest house and very informative about area. The views are amazing. Rooms clean with personal touches. Breakfasts are cooked to order — eggs from their own chickens.
