Very very expensive bad organisation only one bus to go the lave for thousands touristes 🤬

Overcrowded and unsafe. We've spent about an hour waiting in queues inside the park (! ), on narrow walkways overhanging water while the crowd was pushing everyone through. After deciding to turn back, we've faced an exit queue. We've spent more time waiting, than walking the park. I understand that the traffic is heavier during the season, the park management probably understands this too because they have introduced limits on the number of people, but there were still a genuinely dangerous number of people.

Today the access road to the park is closed to cars by the police because of a marathon, 300 km of road to not be able to get to the Park. Both park employees and police give fragmentary information, bad organization! They could make news about it on the site and on this page.

Beautiful place, stunning nature, but I do not recommend it due to the lack of adequate security measures. Yesterday I witnessed an accident in which an old lady visiting the park suffered. The medical assistance arrived 50 minutes after the notification. First, after 40 minutes, employees of the park arrived. They could not find us, despite the fact that the location had been sent. They appeared only when one of the witnesses personally went to find them. They came without anything, not even a single blanket to protect the victim from chilling. Park employees seemed to be not able to coordinate the action. They did not intervene until the witnesses to the incident began asking the incoming crowd to step aside and stray from the path to form the corridor of life. They were just watching… I would like to thank the gentleman who, while running to help, fell over, injured his eyebrow and damaged his glasses. I would like to thank the gentlemen who pulled the old lady out of the water. I would like to thank the German-speaking couple who, together with my friends and me, tried to protect the injured person on the spot. I would like to thank the girl who took off her hoodie and gave it back generously to the old lady whose clothes were completely wet. I would like to thank my two friends who called the medical staff and engaged in rescuing and protecting the lady.

The national park advises you to buy your ticket in advance to make sure you can enter in. We came from Hungary and would have visited the park at the end of our dalmatian holiday. When we got there from the summer heat it was 10 ° C and it was pouring rain which we were completely unprepared for so we decided we couldn’t take the several hours of walking inside the park.
Unfortunately, we did not receive any support from the park staff in either redeeming or transferring the tickets although we could have handed over the tickets to other customers without any problems.
We did not receive any support or assistance in the future to extend the validity of our ticket, so the price of 4 tickets was lost for nothing, which we are very sorry for and gave a bad taste to the further visit and our holiday as well. We are sure that we will not pay for the tickets in advance for any future visit.

The National Park itself is beautiful, and special, but the staff was not able to controll the crowd.
So, is was mixed feeling in us…

One of the most beautiful places I have seen. Definately worth a visit! We took tour C with three children (9 and 7 years old). Next time I would stay overnight to explore more.

Beautiful, intricately magical and somehow out of this world experience. Definitely coming back.

Magical lakes and waterfalls in Croatia, it was utterly mesmerising, the vivid colours and raw nature walk through the park. We were overwhelmed by the crystal clear waters and exceptionally well maintained park. They have well planned walks for everyone, from a nice relaxed trek from 2 hours to a more expert level of all day. We opted for the 2-3 hour walk and it was perfect to enjoy the wonderful park, a short boat ride and leisurely stroll with magnificent views of the magical lakes and waterfalls. Once you are finished there is a shuttle bus waiting to return you back to the entrance, where you have a short walk back to the carpark.

Spectacular views of the Falls, especially when we were there following weeks of heavy rain! Sturdy shoes are essential… boardwalks were slippery!

Host gave me a free transfer to Entrance 2 for me to take a bus to Zagreb.

The host is extremly friendly and helpful. She gave us a lot of tips about the National Park and the village Mukinje, where to eat where is the grocery ect. The apartman is beautiful the room is clear and well equipped and have a peaceful home feeling. (We love the playful little black kitty at the house :) )
