Super recommended good price, very nice place and neat;Offer an excellent hospitality.

We stayed in a private room, which was very nice and clean with handmade tables, two good beds and a hot shower. The family is awesome. Very inviting and helpful. The son speaks perfect English, the rest of the family speaks Spanish but they do their utmost best to talk to you.
Breakfast is tasteful and if you want more, no problem. The kitchen is big and clean, there’s a loungeroom and a balcony. It’s windy around the house, but that reminds us of home.
The hostel is just outside the Center of Santa Elena, easy to walk.

Great hostel with a very cheap price. Everything is clean and tidy, they offer Gallo Pinto as breakfast. Elias and his family will advise you on all tours and will also reserve the route to Arenal and fortune. In the evening around 18:00 on the second floor near the common room you can see a gorgeous sunset.

I had a great stay here for 4 nights. I liked my room. I watched the sunset from the patio every evening. It’s a short walk from the town center but worth the little effort. Breakfast was nice. There is a big living room area that I was able to roll out my yoga mat and then relax later. I booked my tours through the hostel. I was not disappointed with any of the recommendations.
Just a warning that you will hear the wind at night. If you’re staying in hostels you should have earplugs anyways.

The place is easily reachable by local busses. The accomodation is cheap for costa rica. The breakfast is free, traditional and tasty. The staff is really nice. The kitchen and living room have very nice furniture and amazing views.

My wife and I stayed at this hostel during our 3-day stay in Monte Verde! It was amazing! Breakfast every morning, served by sweet and helpful staff, David was particularly helpful in setting up our tours for us and getting information for us. If we ever come back to Monteverde we'll stay here again! Highly recommend to anyone who wants a good place to stay for a very reasonable price!

This is such a cute little place. They have the best people working here and the service is 5 stars! They also have 4 little doggies and a little baby cow Jose. You get a free guaro shot and breakfast which is so yum! Stay here and you won't regret it. They offer laundry services and can hook you up with booking excursions!
