Great service in Special Don Felipe who attended us excellent super recommended.

We had the opportunity to visit the hotel on the weekend and from the moment of making the reservation we had an excellent deal and at the time of arrival more than proven it would be a magnificent stay, the treatment of Felipe and Emily spectacular… 100% I recommend the hotel its very quiet rooms, delicious food and treatment is not even said, they give a special touch to the place … Thank you Bosque Verde Lodge for making this weekend something wonderful for both of you.! ✅

It's the best. Super recommended. We had doubts about where to stay in Monteverde and Bosque Verde was definitely the best option. Excellent service, service and food. We'd come back without thinking twice.

Excellent place to spend a weekend, the attention of the staff was excellent at all times of Philip and Emily made us feel at home very attentive. Super recommended. The rooms are large, clean, the breakfast quite good and very full.

I was extremely pleased with the Hotel Forest green. This is an extremely quiet, green, spacious, surrounded by nature and romantic. In particular, Philip and Emily offered us a hospitality amazing at how much of the food options, accommodation within the hotel, activities to do, and flexibility in the face of certain requests such as late check out. In summary, they exceeded our expectations and without a doubt we would return. For the situation of the COVID, always maintained the strict measures of cleanliness and distancing so that one remains quiet during the stay.

Off the beaten path hotel that will bring you out into nature! Large room made in wood and delicious breakfast: got the pancakes and were fantastic!

Off the beaten path. Quite literally. Rooms are nice and big and clean. The breakfast is amazing. Better French toast than my mom, but don't tell her I said that.

The staff is very nice and the place is not ugly, has a rustic air that for some type of traveler can be nice. It is very important to highlight that more than a hotel is more of an inn. If you travel to Costa Rica in specific to Monteverde you should know that at least 1 hour from the road is dirt road, a very rugged road actually, and this particular site is not as comfortable as a hotel, there is no room service and although they include the breakfast Not the rest of the day there is no restaurant, it is a bit out of the village and if you arrive at night tired of the tremendous road trip it is quite uncomfortable that you can't order a sandwich.
In short if you like adventure and don't mind spending a bit of discomfort not a bad place, if you are a traveler who prefers the attention and convenience of having the typical services of a hotel on hand, Forest Green Lodge is not an option.

Wonderful place. Breakfast is very nice, staff was helpful and the view from the room is beautiful! You can even see the sunset from the room balcony!

We will return to bosque verde lodge. It is so relaxing. The rooms are nice with very comfortable beds. Great breakfast! lots of good bird watching. There are also walking trails across the road.

Excellent! The cheese sandwich is scrumptious. And is made with local ingredients and from. Scratch, by hand. Very nice people! Ernesto, at reception desk/manager and Yoselin, his assistant, are very kind and welcoming. Their friendliness and help with tour activities and taxis is a real plus. It is quiet and a welcome respite from town.

This place was awesome! I regret calling them directly to book a room because now I can't leave a review on hotel websites to give them the props they deserve. The pros: This place is very quiet and peaceful. At night all you can hear is the sound of crickets and cows softly munching on the grass in a properly next door. It's very much located in a countryside setting. The first night in Monteverde, my girlfriend and I stayed in the town center and it was awful. Loud music playing at night, we couldn't go sleep, even with earplugs on. I asked a few taxi drivers about the noise and they all said the same thing, it's noisy in and around the town center. I highly recommend you stay away from the town center unless you want to stay up late and live the nightlife. This place was recently opened in March of 2016, so everything about it is fairly new. The place looks great, everything is made of wood. They also have yellow lights! This is a minor detail, but I don't like the blue harsh office type lights that all other hotels we stayed at had. The yellow lights really gave it a nice and cozy feel rather than that garage like feel from bright white lights. The bathroom was way better than other hotels we stayed at. The sink actually had warm water. Again, many of the other (cheaper) hotels we stayed at did not have hot water in the sink.

Small hotel, excellent service and very frendly staff. Ernesto, manager, was very helpfull arranging tours and taxi service. Close to many things to do. Quiet location offers splendid sunset vista. Delicious food!

Hotel Bosque Verde was a wonderful surprise and a hidden gem outside of town. The rooms are super nice and the ambience is relaxing and quiet. This is the perfect place if you are looking to get away and enjoy the real rural costa rica. You can hear the birds and when it isnt cloudy the view is amazing. Breakfast is super delicious as well. And the staff is the best! We stayed for 2 nights and they gave us a cheaper price than orbitz had. When we decided to return to monteverde because the lowlands were too hot, they had a room waiting for us with lunch on the house to thank us for returning. Anything you need they will have for you. We love this hotel and my husbands favorite part of our trip was sitting on our balcony overlooking the views in tranquillity. HIGHLY RECOMMEND especially for the price! You cant find a hotel this nice or staff so friendly at this price in Santa Elena or Monteverde.
