Great bed and breakfast! Clean rooms and helpful owner! We had 2 bedrooms and kitchen which was very handy. Very good breakfast made to order. Good views. Hummingbirds and lots of birds to see.

This place is a good value in Monteverde. The room was a good size and clean. Safe boxes are provided. The staff is excellent. Made us feel very welcome and provided much information on activities. With the included breakfast we had a choices of eggs, pancakes, rice and beans, fruit, etc. It was very good. The only negative thing I noticed was the size of the bathroom. It was quite small. Hard to move around in. Otherwise everything was top notch. I recommend it.

Very nice family run B&B. Close to many activities. 2nd partof my party complained about dampness at night inside, but it is a rainforest. Red & gold bed sheets (Arizona State Sundevils), how did they know we were from Arizona USA? Had to leave before breakfast was served but I would stay here again!

Family run, quiet location with all of the basics. The rooms are nice and clean. The family who oporate the handful of units couldn't be nicer. The breakfast was substantial. The only, and it's not a major issue, is that the ribs can get very cold at night. You're in the cloud forest and the temps will drop, be sure to put on a few extra covers while you sleep, because it didn't seem to have heat. I would come back. Absolutely fantastic. The host was very kind and helpful, the garden area is beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious! It's a 15 minute walk to the closest bakery and restaurant, and about a 40 minute walk to town (downhill). Easy to walk down, and get a taxi back up.

Great place for a family or group of 6. Everything available… all you need is your clothes and food. Great breakfast included. Great outside view from the inside with the big windows.

Very far from the city difficult access, no sufficient parking, rooms antiquated and dark, no corner to rest on cons will very efficient. It is a b/b and the 1st restaurant is 1km away on the high road.

Lovely place to stay. The apartment we had was great with en suite bathrooms for each bedroom, and a fully kitted out kitchen. The hosts were really lovely, and the breakfast provided was top class. The fact that the Monteverde park is only a couple of minutes away is a real bonus. In the opposite direction it is only a 2 minute drive to a bakery and pizzeria.

We stayed here for one night only but really liked it. Very nice and cordial reception and rooms are well equipped. It was chilly during our stay but we were very cosy in bed. It's a family run business and they really care. Would stay again!

Great little family run B&B type lodges, a little out of the way but not too much as the secluded location is very much a plus. Picturesque walk into the main areas or taxi if so required. Helpful and friendly hosts and excellent typical Costa breakfast in the morning although choice of pancakes etc if desired. Loved our 3 night stay there and would definitely recommend, clean, spacious room and good value.

I've learned that I am not a huge fan of Monteverde (especially just coming from La Fortuna) but the mariposa b&b was absolutely fantastic. Esteban is a gem (from monteverde and speaks English well). Also, I got my laundry done for $8. Wi-Fi was slow in the apartment, but fast in the lobby where I had breakfast in the morning.

Going to Monteverde already in itself is a wonderful experience, and adding the beauty of the place where Mariposa B is located, the excellent attention of the staff make the travel experience even more enjoyable. Esteban Super friendly and the family in charge are very attentive. 100% recommended.

The hotel is in the middle of nature, quiet and the manager is very friendly. The breakfasts are homemade and very good. The rooms are adequately equipped. The mattresses deserve to be changed but each one its habits. A good address.

Family establishment with excellent treatment and maximum disposition to help and facilitate your stay. Cozy wooden bungalows and location very close to the Monteverde reserve, surrounded by nature. Quality Wi-Fi and very good breakfast. Excellent cleaning.
It is of the more secluded lodgings of Santa Elena. It is essential to arrive with a 4WD vehicle. The facilities have been a little outdated, there would be some kind of renovation.
