The Palms 8-0-1 = 5 STARS! Ocho-cero-uno (8-0-1) at The Palms in Jaco, Costa Rica has become our favorite vacation spot and we will return sooner than later! Our 7-day vacation at 8-0-1 Penthouse exceeded our expectations. My wife and I are frequent travelers for business and leisure and we try to enjoy the good things in life. The flight to San Jose, Costa Rica was shorter than we imagined, customs was a breeze to get through, and the drive from San Jose to Jaco was less than an hour. 8-0-1 Condo: modern and better than we imagined. Beautiful, impeccably clean, and comfortable! This penthouse is first-class and high-end! The indoor living areas are comfortable and beautifully furnished. Two of the king-size bedroom suites, the dining room and living room all had beautiful and unobstructed views of the ocean. Several sets of binoculars were in the condo which allowed us to view the exotic macaws that flew by daily and the iguanas climbing the coconut trees. We woke up each morning to the aroma of freshly made Costa Rican coffee – so good! Frania had breakfast ready for us at about 08:30 am which was our preferred time. She prepared a delicious full breakfast according to our requests. We alternated having breakfast on the large kitchen bar or on the balcony. We spent some time on The Palm’s private swimming pool which is on the beach and is cozy and private. We opted to use the much larger swimming pool at the Croc’s hotel which was only a few feet away.

We are talking about a hotel close to the beach comfortable 10 storeys innumerable cozy rooms accessible only to clientele as they say in Spanish que puede.

We just returned from staying here. We could not have felt more at home and more welcomed than we did. We have traveled extensively with our three kids and have stayed in many different places. This one is the best, by far. The location speaks for itself. Waking up and walking out to the sounds of waves crashing before you is amazing. What stood out for us the most, however, was how thoughtfully stocked and laid out everything was. The owners not only take pride in their home, they take pride in ensuring that their guests enjoy themselves. From reaching out ahead to make sure we were set to arrive, to checking in, they and the property managers were in regular contact. The eye for detail and consideration given to our comfort was over the top. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit one of the most beautiful and special places on Earth.

I loved opening the door and being right in front of the beach with only one pool separating us from the sand. The sunset right in front… As well as the daily visit of Macaws. Very well equipped apartment.

We spent an amazing month on the 7th floor. The balconies are huge and covered which was key because it rained an hour or so every day. The property is closer to the beach than any of the neighbors so all you see is ocean and beach. Would suggest you get 3rd floor or higher, 7 was great. There are a couple of rivers that bring silt to the sea so this is not sparkling clear water but beautiful. Easy walk to town, a beach bar Clarita's is very close and very good.

Great weather, 14 days of pure sunshine. Great beaches, not crowded at all. Many restaurants nearby serving excellent food. Friendly people. Will be back! Pura Vida!

Awesome property, very secure and great for families and a relaxing vacation. The Crocs Casino is connected to this property so the facilities are all accessible to The Palms residents. We went horseback riding from our back terrace into the mountains and got unparalleled ocean views and unforgettable memories. This place is truly amazing.

North end of the beach. Location, location, location! We are adjacent to the new Crocs Casino & Resort, and have full use of the largest Vegas Class pool in Jaco. Balcony is ON the ocean, 50 meters from high tide. Mix of condo owners that live there, weekend beach house for the city folk, and vacation rentals. Condos are gorgeous. Beach is beautiful. Location is wonderful. Noise? Horrible. If you want to hear loud music, yelling, drunk parties… its your spot. Not just at The Palms, but next door, etc. Not relaxing.
