Amazing Hotel, highlights above all the treatment received by all the management and staff.
Amazing and very special stay (early March 2018)

We recently stayed here after a few days elsewhere within the Peninsula de Osa/Golfo Dulce area of Costa Rica. Drake's Bay seems to have a lack of mid-range hotels. Either your in basic but charming 'cabinas' or there are a few high-end hotels in Drake's. We loved this hotel. It was the details, the charm, the rooms, the small but quaint pool. Located beach front, on the river mouth which we realized was the reason the area was cooler in temperature than other places near by. The food was yummy and presented with detail. Snacks and coffee throughout the day. Boat transport to Sierpe and to tours where literally in front of hotel with no need to bus-it or cab-it elsewhere _which is not the norm around Drakes Bay which made it super convenient and stress free. The rooms where confortable, beach front view, and private. AC, nice bathrooms, safe, no TV, balcony overlooking the beach with patio furniture and hammock. Small but clean nice pool to enjoy. Good attentive staff. Would recommend and love to come back.

Well placed with a beautiful view from the terraces on the Pacific and the mangrove, it is an ideal place to explore the surroundings. The access from Sierpe by boat by the River then the ocean brings a small air from the end of the world. Good meals, friendly and helpful staff, welcome in French at reception by one of the receptionist (very rare in Costa Rica) is a little more.

Amazing place. The workers were always attentive and friendly. Excellent food. It's been three days we'll always remember. Highly recommended. Gabriel's photographs didn't come to us. Thank you for making stay so enjoyable!

A great and well equipped place. We were in June 2013

I came here to scuba dive. I was clear that the only reason I wanted to stay here was to dive, that I was interested in no other actives. In order to dive you have to be up at 6 am, which isn't a had thing. As a military person I'm used to waking up early. They assigned me a room above the kitchen which is the loudest spot in the hotel. When I complained the management could have not cared any less. I realize that electrical codes are different in every country but I didn't feel safe while I showered.

Arrival by boat; room just over the sea. Great walk in the forest with Gustavo and incredible day on the sea : ila de Cano, swim with Dolphins and close to whale. Unforgettable.

Excellent views over Bahia Drake. Cabins with private veranda and ocean view. Staff was great, as was the breakfast buffet.

Perfect hotel for diving in Drake Bay.

Rustic cabin on the beach. More food then you can eat included. Nice cool pool. Great activities and tours offered. Not a 5 star resort… but you do not travel to Drakes Bay for that! Great place to base yourself from to go snorkeling, diving, night jungle tours, day jungle tours etc… Very friendly staff. Pura Vida.

A nice cozy place to discover the Corcovado park and Canio island. The room had a magnificent view of the bay. It was also spotless and well furnished. The staff is extremely friendly and competent. We kept asking for extra things, and they never let us down. The kitchen staff prepared good and simple meals, and the whole schedule was organized to fit tours and activities nicely. The hotel also offers tours, and we were so happy with them. In particular, we really enjoyed Gabriel's knowledge of the jungle, both fauna and flora. He always had extra facts and stories to complement the hike and questions we had. Our boat captain, Roberto was also very nice.

Amazing place to have adventurous experiences with your family! Taking the whales and dolphins watching tour was definitely the highlight of the trip.

I enjoyed my stay since I arrived. There's always something to do, whether going horseback riding to scubadiving or just simply take a walk and enjoy the nature. Also, the costumer service is amazing and the food is incredible.

I beleive no other hotel allows you to wake up with an unbelievable beach front view. The view is amazing, the food is amazing and the adventure tours are too. Your only problem would be deciding which adventure to take. Heaven on earth!.

Scuba dived with Cano Divers. Great experience. Wilson, our guide was great. Water was a little cloudy but Wilson helped everyone see sharks and rays and lots of fish.

The best place in Costa Rica, definitely.
