Wonderful experience, very nice staff, great location, delicious food! Take the farm tour!

We have enjoyed our stay at Finca Luna Nueva immensely! We love the property and the hikes and educational tours available onsite. Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. The meals were wonderful too! I appreciate their eco-friendly concepts and farm to table meals. We did the family adventure package and enjoyed all of the off sites tours we did: zip lining, horseback ride to waterfall and cano negra ride on the rio frio. It was like an animal planet show!

Came down from another lodge for dinner. It’s amazing food and service. 5* all the way.

I promise you will feel right at home as soon as you step foot into this beautiful space nestled in the rainforest. The short paths to each well kept lodge is more beautiful than the next. Open pavilions also keep you safe when you relax and watch the hummingbirds or have a meal. Not only that but each staff member makes you feel special. … and always there to assist. Did I mention that the guides are top notch? You don’t even have to leave the property to go on excursions to a primary rainforest and a secondary rainforest. There are tours to understand medicinal plants, birding and experiencing so much more.

The personalized attention of Danny, Ariel and Byron, who made us feel part of the place from the first minute of having arrived. In the same way as the Cheff, because through vegan food they made us feel good.

Incredible place with incredible service and amazing amenities. People are super friendly, nature is beautiful and the food os delicious. We've been having our yoga retreats there for a couple of years and will continue to do so as we feel at home when at Finca Luna Nueva.

Genuine knowledgable and Friendly community /staff. Hammocks overlooking a vast rainforest vista. Farm to table cheese, colorful vegetables, exotic fruits, scrumptious eats galore. Easy breezes overlooking the pool. Jungle hikes. Sloth sightings, wild bird sounds all around. Well appointed / just right lodging. Clean, comfortable, cool. Eco/Enviro friendly. Loved it in every way!

Unbelievable! In every way. The food is amazing. Birdwatching epic. I lead a Retreat here every year and this place just keeps getting better. The staff are warm and friendly.

What’s not to love about this place? Wonderful people and surroundings. Food is great and the experiences that they offer are fantastic. I’ve seen birds I only dream about.

What a fantastic resort. It is beautiful but more importantly they know how to run it smoothly. The service is impeccable and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else while in Columbia. I will certainly be back again!

Great place set in the rainforest. All of the staff were super helpful and terri & tom were perfect hosts. Our individual bungalow no 10 with balcony was lovely. You need a car though as it's a fair way from the action.

Fantastic experience. Saw lots of awesome wildlife on the property; Blue Jean poison dart frogs, baby boa snake, Taya and lots of frogs and bugs. The farm was very fascinating to learn about. The staff were very friendly.

Lovely place surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Costa Rican jungle. Staff is very friendly and ready to help where they can. Food is good, homemade and mostly from their own farm.

Incredible experience of feeling connected to the diverse and amazing natural beauty of surrounding rainforest. The hosts and all of the staff are so welcoming and very knowledgeable about how everything in the natural world is inter connected and they share that knowledge in such interesting ways through their tours. I highly recommend all of the tours as part of the experience. The pool is beautiful, the yoga pavilion is an experience of beauty and peace.
The food is fresh from the farm on the property and is delicious.
It is one of my most memorable vacation experiences. I could not give it a higher recommendation!

This is such a beautiful and relaxing place! It felt like a home away from home. We had delicious fresh food from the farm every day and met wonderful people who loved to share their knowledge. The property is spectacular and the tours were very interesting. I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful location but horribly run place. Poorly maintained. Terrible food. No air conditioning. Lots of bugs and holes in the room screens.

This place is magic. The people, the birds, the mission, the food. A place of pure beauty. I felt truly alive and one with nature here.

I am from Costa Rica and have been able to see how they work. I highly recommend the experience with them. Super eco-friendly, they are doing great and have many options to make you feel great, either to relax, or to feel part of the eco-friendly experience of our country. They also support others working with the same vision.

Amazing hotel — great service, beautiful hotel, pool and hot tub, and delicious food at the restaurant. Do the sustainable farm tour — the guide is super knowledgeable and it's very interesting.

Hard to think of a better place to relax, learn, hike around, be removed from civilization, and have access to basic amenities all at the same time.

We have been to the lodge twice and it's absolutely wonderful. Great quality food and options for meals. The whole place is very clean, friendly staff, tours that are so educational and informative. The atmosphere is so relaxing and peaceful. An amazing place to get away too.

Had a really wonderful stay here rooms and food are excellent, and every one was so friendly.

I'd give it more than five stars if I could! The stay here was the best one I had in Costa Rica! We had two nights reserved, but when we got there we only had one night reserved, which was definitely my mistake. They worked really hard to accommodate us and found a room for us the second night. They offer a free tour of the farm to guests. It was so informative and enjoyable. The food was fabulous. Every single employee was welcoming and talkative. This is a perfect ecotourism destination! Even though my family and I was visiting La Fortuna, the 45 minute drive from this lodge was well worth it. This place is a must stay if you are anywhere in the vicinity!
