The staff are amazing, so helpful, the hotel is lovely and the beach is amazing. Got a villa upgraded, which was fantastic, with its own pool.

What an amazing place this is — the staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Loved the organised kayak trick with printing with Ini. Breakfast was first class. The villas were beautiful. I think next time I would like to try one with a private pool. The beach front villa was fabulous though. Thank you Crown Beach Resort you have got everything right! This was my first time in Raro as well so definitely a great experience all round. Island night was great fun too.

Love everything about the show. The food was perfect. I will be back.

We have just got home from staying at this beautiful resort and starting to plan to come back already! we were treated like royalty the whole week and nothing was a problem! The staff with huge smiles were the most welcoming people ever — cannot say enough about them! The rooms were gorgeous and the onsite resturant with amazing cocktails was brilliant. Best decision we made was to have our wedding at Crown Beach Resort. All the staff were amazing, friendly & accommodating. They made our day magical and memorable ♥ The food on our wedding night was delicious, kudos to the chef If you are looking for a stress free venue to host your wedding, I definitely recommend The Crown Beach Resort xxx.

Booked a surprise dinner on the beach for my 20th anniversar. The setting was amazing and even brought a tear to my wife's eyes. The food was amazing and the staff absolutely awesome. I will definitely be booking that accommodation next time. Can't wait to return.

It was our last night on the Island and we wanted to do something special. The resort had an island night/buffet on and this seemed like a good idea. They were fully booked but were happy to made some space for us. Unfortunately we found out that our flight was actually on the same day (we totally lost track of time), luckily the flight was only late at night so we could still enjoy the buffet dinner. Again the resort were happy to reduce the cost as we were only staying for dinner. We arrived at 6.30pm and already there was a local entertainer there. He was very friendly and chatty with everybody and quite a showman, so we actually did not feel like we really missed out. There was a big selection of food available. I can honestly say it was the best food I have eaten in a long time! Everything was fresh and very tasty. There was some local dishes as well that I loved. Of course we ate way too much so by the time desert was served (after a 20min interval where the showman kept everybody well entertained) we were feeling quite stuffed. Never the less we ventured over to the desert table and again we were not disappointed. A large variety of deserts and all beautifully presented and what I did try was absolutely delicious! I have no doubt the full show that followed would have been amazing to see, but we were happy to go with a well stuffed tummy and awesome memories.

A beautiful resort with absolutely fantastic staff who were willing to help us organise all our activities for our holiday. The villas are fantastic and the restaurant gives you a view of the sunset during dinner. They offer activities each day and free access to kayaking and snorkling gear. It's a tranquil place that I would recommend to anyone wanting to relax.

Must try Flambe restaurant try Flambe cocktail but it is 105 proof alcohol so don't skull it or drink before you try it my wife said I had a funny grin on my face after drinking it quickly and was gone for the rest of the night fell aseelp on the drive home.

We had an amazing 5 night stay here. The night before our wedding at the Crown till the end of stay. The room was nice and big making it a good place to get ready the morning of the wedding and the bed was super comfortable. Only improvement in the room could be better lighting it felt quite dark all the time. Having our own private pool was amazing as well.
The reception staff were very helpful and could answer any question we had and offered to help in any way they could. The restaurant staff also willing to help and were great to have a laugh with. Only down fall with restaurant staff is they were definitely on island time and some times it took 10-15mins to get our drinks. Leilani was the most outstanding staff member we dealt with at the Crown. She is the wedding planner and leading up to the day was very on to it with great response times in emails and answered every question I had. On the day she was very on to it making sure everything was organised and running to time and kept us informed through everything.
The food on the wedding day and the breakfast and from the restaurant was amazing and always plenty of it. Rarotongans really know their food. Cannot forget to mention the waffles at breakfast! They also do really good cocktails.
As much as its not the swimming side of the island the beach is still gorgeous and you get the best sunsets and you can still go snorkeling and kayaking.

We have just come home from our 7 night stay at Crown Beach Resort. We absolutely loved it there. The resort, the food, the beach and the weather was fantastic and the people amazing. Shavistika, Rose, Kyla at Oceans Restaurant, we miss you! You made our holiday so enjoyable, nothing was a problem and you always have smiles on your faces. You are a real asset to Crown Beach Resort. Ewen and Leroy, thank you for sharing your stories with us and the fun we had with you guys. Highly recommend Crown Beach Resort as a wonderful place to stay especially for couples but also for groups. Thank you all again.

What an amazing place! My (now wife) and I had our wedding and accomodation at the Crown and words cannot express just how awesome our time spent here was. We had 5 nights, in a private courtyard pool suite which was the best accomodation we have ever stayed in.
Amazing food, scenery and resort with a very peaceful beach within a minutes walk.
Crown Beach is smaller than other resorts and adults only so a very relaxing getaway, we had friends stay at other hotels and the beaches at their hotels were just flooded with people. In regards to the wedding, everything was taken care of. Emails and a phone calls with simple questions and it was practically sorted and stress free.
Unfortunately before we came over, the bride to be got the flu which was at its worst on the actually wedding day.
Leilani and her team were so helpful and supportive and organised a quick visit with the doctor, delayed the wedding by a few hours and rescheduled everyone and the event for later than afternoon without a fuss. We really couldn’t recommend Rarotonga, the Crown Beach Resort and Leilani for your holiday or wedding more highly. Thanks so much again. Krystal and Regan Thwaites.

Great staff, beautiful view. Very private and the rooms look amazing. We went here for dinner and happy hour. The seafood buffet was incredible and reasonably priced. The cocktails were huge! Thanks team!

Fantastic beach and sunset. Clean facilities. Close to airport, and main town/city. Very good friendly service.

Great location right on the water. Coutyard Pool Villas are a little dated but have plenty of space, are very clean and have a huge bathroom. They also offer privacy, and you get a pool guy to clean your pool every day! Very friendly staff.

We spent an amazing week at the Crown Beach Resort. The staff there were fantastic. They have several daily activity options right there at the resort. Gorgeous sunset views & romantic walks on the beach.

Been here twice and got married here in 2013, amazing people and such a beautiful place. Counting the days until the next time. My wife actually got the flu on one trip and became much worse during the night and the staff woke up the manager who was staying at the time, who drove us to the hospital in the dead of night! They will truly bend over backward for their guests. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Crown beach for a family wedding and had the most fantastic time. As it was an Adults only resort it was peaceful, and beautiful with lovely friendly staff who were always willing to assist. The private pool rooms are lovely and private; the rooms themsleves are lovely and modern with a tropical vibe, the air con works fabulously, just the gardens around our pool could have done with some TLC! The wedding was beautiful and we have spoken several times about a return trip.

Best cocktails we had on the island — they seemed to have a real bartender that didn't just mix syrups with liquor.

Excellent meals here. Service was ok, but there could be more staff attending to people. Beautiful views and calming atmosphere. The live singer definitely added to the relaxed ambience. Clean and elegant dining. Highly recommend.

Wonderful relaxing resort. Quiet and tranquil setting, if you want time to yourselves with good food and great cocktails. Swimming spots and snorkelling right at you feet. Book the sunset dinner on the beach for a perfect evening.

Incredible! Beautiful staff, gorgeous beachfront villas, delicious food, fab cocktails, it was whale season so we had an incredible show each day of the whales hanging out … the staff were seriously the best (hi to Donna from the NZ sisters Tasha, Nina and Cushla). We’ll be back x.

We loved our stay at this amazing resort. From the very warm welcome and juice on arrival to being shown to our lovely large villa with our own swimming pool. The staff, the location, the activities and being able to hire a scooter from there as well. They even put a surprise 60th birthday cake in our fridge which we found when we got home from dinner! I would totally recommend the Crown Beach Resort. Can't wait to go back. Thank you everyone for making our stay so special!

We visited the Crown for their private dinner on the beach package. They provided a beautifully decorated gazebo, our own waiter, a bottle of bubbly, and a three-course meal. The meal was really good with very generous portions — the seafood platter had two whole crayfish along with a wide variety of fish, prawns, calamari, mussels etc. It's definitely worthwhile for a romantic evening! The service was also excellent.

We didn't stay in house but went to the Crown one night for dinner. The restaurant can't be faulted on ambience, close to the beach and overlooking the pool. The service, however, wasn't up to scratch. We ordered pina coladas but swear there was no alcohol in them. My guest's dinner was served ten minutes before mine. When we gave them some feedback, it was met with a very gruff response. It's a real shame. The restaurant promises so much, but the service lets it down. There are other venues on the island that do much better.

We married here in 2011 and still reminisce. The hotel is beautiful, staff are friendly and professional and still Raratonga is our favourite place on the planet. We're waiting to go back!

This place is beautiful! Our villa was so private and with an amazing set up. My wife and I just spent our honeymoon there and the people were so nice and helpful. The staff was always happy and the food incredible. This is a place that I will always remember with love. Amazing!

My wife and I had a lovely time here. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service was good. The beachfront villa was very spacious and the view across the lagoon was superb. Some freshening up of the decor in the villas would be great though. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility at Crown Beach resort and you never feel like there are a lot of people around all the time. Food and beverages are reasonably priced and the daily room credit was appreciated and put to good use. Thank you.

Thank you for birthday wishes. The hotel was so wonderful to us. First a birthday cake at breakfast which was a surprise. Then when we got to our room at night there were flower pelats, wine and beautiful card. It was truly wonderful. I will always remember it with warm heart.

For 4 nights, we were after we initially on a neighbouring island in a rather favourable / rancid accommodation were.
Of course, the price is not cheap, but the hotel is worth it!
We had a private Bungalow with pool. Already. Outdoor area was very nice.
The room is huge and very good bed. Very clean!
The bathroom is also luxury pure.
Of course, every day has made clean and cleaned the pool. The staff is very nice.
The two dining options are super. A "normal" dining area by the pool. There's usually Buffett in good quality.
On the other hand some exclusivere restaurant on the Hoteleigang (but to the hotel belong). Here, the food is very good and the price really ok. One night we wanted to like to eat on the rooms and quasi have ordered us the food. They said that they actually do this, but ok. So we all (appetizer, main dish, Nachspreise, wine, water) brought in the room get and even had to pay an additional fee.
Is the location of the hotel is good. From airport, take the bus to reach "anticlockwise" / stop "Crown Beach". (Warning if you case it want an ordinary charge the bus driver! )
But there is also a shuttle service from the hotel.
In the selection of hotels on the island consider just what you want. West side is called sunset. East side is but something beautiful with the Islands.

We've stayed here twice, once for a friends wedding, and it's rally hard to fault. Sure it's not cheap but the service is excellent, very friendly and relaxed; the ambience is beautiful with lovely tropical gardens, and the restaurants and bar are all great. They have several 2-for-1 Happy Hours during the day, which keep your bar tab down and if you really "must" do something you can snorkel or kayak in front. Across the road is a convenient superette, cafe/takeaway and a bottle shop. The bus stop is right our front and the resort is quite close to town and the airport (but not under the flight path). A really lovely place and we're planning to go back again.
