Stayed in a Kabana with my son, great location and the units are clean, well set up and excellent value. The staff are very helpful and friendly, you feel at home very quickly. I would happily stay again :-)

We absolutely loved our 8 night stay at Kura's Kabanas. The bungalows were very well equipped and the bed was large and super comfy. A ceiling and standing fan were provided which helped us sleep. So lovely to sit out on our verandah looking at the lagoon and then take a few steps to the little beach and beautifully warm water. We made good use of the kayaks (head out to the right to then return with the current) and felt very safe as most of the time you can touch the bottom when swimming. Swam with turtles and fabulous fish without paying for a tour. We loved being opposite 3 little islands — a unique aspect of this area.
We hired electric bikes from town but could also walk to local rugby ground (saw some great games! ), launderette, several restaurants (loved the sailing club food) night market, small supermarket and cultural evening out. Storytelling bike tour was excellent too — pick up from the accommodation.
Host, Emily, was lovely, friendly and very helpful. 100% recommended.
