Isabella's boutique house hotel is located in the center of the city, where you can find a place with incredible facilities, very clean areas. It also has a swimming pool on the second floor and bar on the first floor, apart from this the attention of the staff is impeccable and help with indications of interest.

My girlfriend and I stayed a total of 4 nights at Casa de Isabella, broken up by 2 nights in Tayrona at Villa Maria. After a few mediocre experiences at hostels in Cartagena and Playa Blanca, we decided to spend a little more money and stay somewhere nice in Santa Marta. We arrived to the city at 10:30pm without any reservations. We went to a few hotels, all of whom turned us away, before being welcomed into Casa de Isabella with open arms by Aldair at the front desk of Casa de Isabella. We were only going to stay in Santa Marta for 1 night. But because Aldair was so welcoming, helpful, and incredibly kind, we instantly decided to relax a bit and enjoy Santa Marta and the wonderful Casa de Isabella. We were surprised that all of the staff at Casa de Isabella was as wonderful as Aldair. Even the cleaning staff and waiters always had a smile on their face and seemed to be happy to have us there and to be working there. The room was very clean, comfy bed, air-conditioning, and had a wonderful bathroom. The breakfast was delicious: plate of fresh fruit and juice, coffee, and multiple choice menu though I usually got the egg in a basket with bacon. The pool was also wonderful and we spent a few hours next to it throughout our stay. Because the staff at Casa de Isabella was so wonderful, we decided to book a night at Villa Maria, another Kali Hotel. That hotel was unbelievable and so beautiful. The staff was equally as wonderful.

Very nice small hotel in a central location and only 3 minutes from the port and the beach. The hotel has only 12 rooms and is very personal and lovingly furnished. It is clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. When I'm back in Santa Marta, I'll definitely be back at Casa da Isabella! :)

Suite with private pool and the people of the hotel very friendly.

Rustic and luxe, this hotel is the perfect fusion of classic and modern. The suite with the private rooftop mini-pool and panoramic views of Santa Marta’s mountains and beaches is absolutely jaw-dropping. The staff is extremely helpful and tolerant of someone like me with weak Spanish speaking skills.

Everything was perfect. A very good option, very neat, the location is unbeatable, the service is quite good.

We had a nice, affordable stay. We stayed in their upstairs penthouse one night and the ground floor for a night. Both rooms suffered a shortage of hot water (like four minutes and then cold but not frigid), which always loses a star for us in the review. The private pool in the penthouse was quite nice! The staff was friendly and helpful and accommodating. The breakfast offered a nice selection as well.

This was overall a nice place to stay. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean, and beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. However, of the three showers we took, only one had hot water.

There is one primary job of a hotel, not twenty or fifty things you need to do but just one; provide your guests a great night of sleep. Casa Isabella, despite the pretty building and nice staff failed on this point dramatically! We arrived at the hotel, checked in, then went for a walk and for dinner. The following day (today) we had a flight at 9am, which meant we had to be to bed early and awake early. The one problem? Last night was the night they celebrated Halloween. That meant that the entire city was celebrating. While that's fine, the hotel knew in advance that the place just next door was hosting a party. Armed with this information the hotel did nothing to inform the guests or to provide lodging at their other location in Santa Marta. For us we were on the bottom floor in room and could not get any rest till 5am — the music was that loud and bass that strong. We then had a 7am wake-up and are now waiting for our 10pm flight feeling absolutely exhausted and unhappy. I don't like to give a bad review but in this case the hotel failed on their one and only job. I've now got 20 more hours till I get home and have work first thing in the morning. Thank you!

A magical place, no noise, quiet, wonderful, with elegant touch and emulating antique. I loved everything from the façade to the rest of the staff. Really spectacular.

Great spot in central Santa Marta. Easy room is different and has a great home feel. All the employees are nice and helpful with the front desk people speaking English. They can set you up for taxis, tours, etc. Would stay here again!

Excellent hotel! full recommended. All the people are very friendly. The rooms are clean and very well maintained. Has air conditioning plus fan. Apple TV in pieces and free calls.

What an absolutely amazing experience we had at this fantastic hotel. 5 star service in every way. The hotel is located minutes from the main square in Old Town, Santa Marta as well as minutes from the beach. We stayed in suite # 9. This room is very large with its own private pool and sun deck. Great for cooling off from the hot weather. Great bed and pillows and all the comforts you would expect from a 5 star hotel. What separates this hotel from most others is the fantastic staff. Everyone who works here is totally dedicated to making sure your experience here is nothing less than perfect. We were always greeted with a smile and asked if we need anything. I just can not say enough about the staff. It would be a terrible mistake NOT to stay at this hotel if you plan a visit to Santa Marta.

Lovely rooms and Great staff, the cleaning lady was very cute always greeting us each morning. We have no real issues with the place really, except one. The pools — both our private pool (if you book the suite, you have your very own rooftop plunge pool), and the main pool were poorly maintained. Sadly our rooftop pool was the perfect place for the local pigeon community to hang out thus the pool water got full of bird droppings and feathers so after two days it was not possible to use it. I think they only clean the pool with every new guest and we were there for 5 days so the pool got filthy. The same issue with the hotels main pool. If they maintain the pools properly, the place would get a higher rating.

My husband and I stayed at the boutique hotel Casa de Isabella during our first trip to Colombia's Caribbean coast and loved the experience. They have the amenities of the world's larger chain hotels (fabulous sheets, towels, L'Occitane cosmetics, minibars, safes, pool) but the charm of much smaller bed & breakfasts. The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated with native purple heart woods and mosaics that add to its Colonial feel. Most of the staff was fluent in English, all were friendly, helpful and added to our overall experience. While we were there, we took advantage of their recommendations for scuba and jungle excursions.

Three of my girlfriends and I recently ventured to Santa Marta for the first time and stayed in a lovely boutique hotel with a lot of heart. I'm not only referencing the purple heart wood that you find embedded in every nook and crany, but you can tell a lot of heart went into the design and details. From the silky soft sheets, comfortable beds, fragrant L'Occitane soaps, delicious breakfast and terrific service, this hotel is a must stay. Casa de Isabella is also perfectly located around the corner from the beach and Parque de Los Novios, a hot spot at night with great restaurants and bars. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
