I am going to write this review in English, as I see the property is rated high by Spanish speakers but much lower by English speakers. This could be because North Americans have higher standards, or because English speakers had communication problems that distracted from their stay. If you don't speak Spanish and are not adventurous enough to battle through translation issues, this might not be the best destination for you. Really, that has nothing to do with Nautilos, but applies to most of Colombia. There is no extensive English tourist infrastructure. Especially if you arrive by bus and boat, you will have to navigate several connections in Spanish. If you travel by boat you should buy a large plastic bag at the pier to put your luggage in, and if you want to carry your phone, buy one of those waterproof phone lanyards. Very cheap and you will get plenty of use it out it. I live in Colombia and my Spanish is OK. I had a great time at this hotel. Capurganá is basically a beach bum town. There are a lot of services. You can buy what you need here. Lots of restaurants, bars and stores, but basic — — not fancy. The rooms are log cabin style. Basic but attractive and the A/C works well. The location can't be beat — — steps to the main beach with free chairs and towel loan. Facilities include pool, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, and hammocks. We were there on a 3-day weekend and the hotel was full. But there were no big lines for food or drinks.
