One of the worst hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The building in general is pretty dirty and the staff is terrible, especially the two girls at the reception. There was only one guy who actually gave us good advice on where to go and what to do that didn’t involve any of the activities from the hostel. They have absolutely no interest in helping travelers and they only look for different ways to rip you off. The atmosphere was decent which had more to do with the people that stay in the hostel, not the people who run it. Will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Very good Hostel, one of the best in Cartagena according to say here in the city. It is quite comfortable and has all the services. PD: Includes breakfast.

Great hostel, fantastic location, breakfast is very good, friendly and helpful staff, very safe, no curfew, clean rooms and bathrooms, 10 mbps Wi-Fi access, you can print your boarding pass there and lots of activities (I didn’t attend any though).

One of my top favorite hostels. The staff was superb and the atmosphere is great to socialize and meet people. The nightly activities are a huge plus. I highly recommend this place.

Good opium to stay if you travel alone or with friends. The stay includes breakfast, which is basic but sufiiente to grab energy in the morning, toast, coffee, cereal, some fruits. The rooms are shared between 4 and 12 people, are spacious and have a small safe for each guest. They also have personal lockers under the bunks, you only need to wear your own padlock. It has an open air bar that closes early, but it's a good option to start.

Very good overall for a hostel but it's expensive ($1000 for 17 days in a private room, didn't even have my own bathroom), the Wi-Fi is really spotty (goes down for 5-20 minutes several times a day), they overbooked me and put me in a shared room the first night (not a big deal but still a screw up worth mentioning), they have a rule that says no one can be in the outside common areas between midnight and 6 am but this isn't enforced often and I've been woken up at 3 or 4 in the morning several times (had to go yell at some people once myself already), and water pressure in the showers can be poor. The positives outweigh the negatives I must make clear. It's very clean and well maintained, the staff are friendly and helpful, beds are comfortable, oh and the big one: they have air conditioning in every room and it works really well (you can turn your room into a refrigerator if you want to). The bar is decent and not overpriced, though I'd generally recommend you stick to beer (sorry, Tatiana, you're sweet but your mojitos scare me). The have some sort of activity every night and most people participate. Free breakfast is pretty damn good for a continental breakfast at a hostel. Never used the kitchen but it looks well stocked and clean. Bathrooms are cleaned several times a day, which is really nice (and necessary in a hostel).

Good rooms with air conditioning. Attentive and dedicated staff. It has a bar and the atmosphere is very friendly. They have a baggage deposit at home that you have to keep things to go on a tour.

Perfect spot to be in cartagena! The streets are beautiful and you have everything at a walking distance. The hostel is great! Lots of showers and the staff its in every detail you need :)

A very very clean hostel. An awesome place to stay, with nice amenities and safes. Staff are friendly all the time and always willing to help. They help with booking local attractions, taxis and anything else you need. I'm giving them a star less only because they insisted on us wearing a paper wristband to show that we are from the hostel when coming back in. I mean the wristband is made of paper and it's not going to stay on while you shower or do activities during the day. Then they tell people off for not wearing a wristband… definitely not a biggie though.

We stayed here for a few days while we were enjoying Cartagena. The hostel is really well located — close to absolutely everything within the walled city. The restrooms and showers are very well kept and the rooms are very clean. Staff is very courteous and attentive. Bartender, Tatiana, is also very nice and HONEST. We will definitely be staying here again. We stayed in a 4 person ensuite so the AC was never an issue for us. However, only thing I will say, is that the Internet tends to go off and on and you cannot get internet in some places of the hostel (which is an inconvenience).

The staff are friendly. The rooms are quite spacious but the beds are not comfortable, let's not talk about the shower room which is not top. Some rooms provide direct access to the Pacio and bar. The only advantage is the price;)

The location is great, in the center nearby everything. The staff is awesome, kindly and very helpful. The local is clean. The bar and activities is great every night, with dancing classes, movies, music until 00:00. The place have a good climate.

Clean, safe, friendly and affordable. They also happily booked my tours for me. Very nice people! Breakfast is small but it's quick and included in the price. Loved it. Recommend to all travelers!

Pretty good hostel to meet other people and go out on the town. It would be better if they had a pool. They do have a bar from 530 pm to 12 am. Nightly activities are hosted there as well. Great for the younger crowd.

Stayed here twice. Both experiences very pleasant. Well located, clean, simple breakfast (juice, coffee, cereals) included, great price. Environment felt safe, front desk always staffed, and they have a bar and events like salsa dancing which are fun if you are tired from exploring the city! Would love a pool but this is an easy hostel with reliable Wi-Fi.

We had a really fun salsa class and then we all went to a great party. Good atmosphere and nice bar. The only thing missing is a pool.

Very clean, lots of fun, large common areas and easy to meet and socialize with other travelers. There are free salsa nights and other scheduled events that make it quite lively. Cartagena is HOT. Just be aware that the air conditioners are turned off during the day between 11:00-18:00 but that's incentive to head out and go somewhere. Staff are helpful and kind with plenty of information on things to do in and around the city. The location is perfect and inside the very pretty walled city. Everything you need is in walking distance and it's super easy to get a cab to the airport if you need one. It is also a safe location. Breakfast is basic — cereal, toast, milk, fruits, juice. Tip: If you really need the a/c during the day (and we did), head to the TV room :)

Had a good experience at this hostel. My friend and I had a provate double bed room which was in a separate building from the main hostel. This was nice because it meant we had somewhere quiet to return to after our nightly activities. The main hostel was nice also. Fun little bar in the centre courtyard with different activities every night. A basic breakfast was laid out every morning which wasn't too impressive but good to get you through the first couple hours of the day. It's in a nice area of the old city within the walls. Close to plenty of cute little courtyards to visit and grab food/drinks. Security was pretty good. Safe in each room to lock your passports. Keys for your room and the main door. Cleanliness was alright. We saw little ants in our room part way through our stay and also in the bathrooms. But there weren't very many of them so it didn't bother us too much. Overall I had a good experience here and would recommend it to others visiting Cartagena.

The hostel is very expensive for the poor service that it have. No soap in bathroom, only a little liquid soap. Bad smell in the room. Each person touches to wash the breakfast dishes (unbelievable but true). It has a charge for the towels (US 2), and no change daily. Do not change the sheets in the room. The TV has no remote control. Have the option to share the room with other people (and communal bathrooms), which are foreigners who spend all day on the runners taking alcohol, mostly backpackers and is designed for this type of clientele, but all charge very expensive (and if client is foreigner abroad more, plus they sell the idea that it is a cheap hotel, which is not true since for that cost in the area there are hotels that give excellent service). Not recommended, instead there are better hotels in the area, especially one in front of the clock tower. I also recommend hotels in the Hilton Hotel.

Expensive for a hostel, it has the same prices from a hotel in the same sector, which offers you more services. The customer has to wash the breakfast faience (unbelievable but true). The room had a drain with bad smell. There was no control of the TV. Breakfast bread was super hard. It has an atmosphere very gringo backpacking, it passed in the corridors, smoking and drinking 24. Not recommended for families or couples, just for backpackers. There was no bath SOAP, and even sold it at the reception. You charge for rent you towels. Frightening, not to return.

I arrived without having made a reservation but I was very well placed. Excellent prices and its relationship with the service provided also. The location is also optimal because everything is handy. The cleaning of the rooms, the bathrooms and the kitchen is very good, in addition to disinfected mattresses. Reception is wide and the staff solve you all problems you may have. The place is very roomy and comfortable; I loved the bar and the Bar-Tender is very nice and well made drinks. You organized and engaged the tours, I never had a problem in this regard. Go without a doubt, I would not think twice!

Excellent location. Place and all the boys and girls who are at the front desk throughout the day and night. Accompanying those staying up at the exits. A place to return!
