The introductory room tour was especially thoughtful and helpful.

I first discovered The Bivou as a solo traveler in 2024, and have since returned two or three times with family and friends. The Bivou has a heart and soul you feel the moment you arrive.

An amazing place with equally amazing hosts! The people here are so kind and helpful, which made my stay extra special. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommended!

Stayed at this boutique hotel during our stay in Lijiang and it was beautiful! Perfect for those looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle from the city.

This place is a hidden gem. We stayed four nights and left with a lifetime of memories. Truly the best family vacation we've ever had.
Check-In & Front Desk.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and I’m glad to see the property has been very well maintained since my last visit seven years ago.

I recently had an absolutely wonderful stay at InterContinental Lijiang, and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

The hotel’s location is extremely convenient and easy to access, making it effortless to explore the surroundings.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo Lijiang. The hotel is clean, modern, and beautifully designed, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay.

Great stay at Hotel Indigo. Tastefully decorated. Able to use the Intercontinental amenities next door, including the gym. Pillow menu is appreciated. David was excellent and helpful.

We saved staying here for the last few days of our long holiday because we just wanted to relax and soak in some luxury after walking our legs off in the other two old towns.

Recommend this resort… 5 stars! My family and I had a really fun time at the resort!

At China Old Story Inn Lijiang Elite Garden, every arrival feels like stepping into a living poem filled with history, beauty, romance, and peaceful dreams.

Super great hotel, the service and quality is spectacular. They are very friendly to cyclist, which is amazing to see. They let us put our bicycles in their garage, and did so with a smile.

Service is quick. Arrange buffet breakfast early at 6.10 for our early trip to jade dragon snow mountain. Lighting in room is good, just dim to floor and good to sleep. Breakfast noodle is grate.

Highlights.
— The reservation team was so generous to upgrade me to a huge family room.
— The front office team was very polite and patient when I checked in very late in the evening.

If you're anyway in yunnan, drop by this hotel and stay with them. Find Mr. Jason He to plan your trip around Li Jiang and/or Shangrila (Xiangelila) over tea or beer if you like.

Nice hotel with spacious room. Good value for money. One particular staff there is very helpful in arranging day tour. Overall satisfied.

Incredible place. Such a beautiful house in the middle of Lijiang old town. The rooms are very comfortable, very well decorated and the whole house has a unique atmosphere.

We were very pleased with our stay at Jian She 简舍. The staff, Dian Dian and Xiao Xue were very friendly and helpful. Dian Dian helped us book the local tour to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in advance.

Enjoyed two nights stay here. Large, modern and tranquil property. Beautiful rooms and landscaping. Room is spacious and well design, particularly like the batnroom as it can be separated.

My recent stay at the Indigo Hotel in Lugu Lake was a truly memorable experience, blending modern luxury with the rich cultural heritage of the Mosuo people.

Well located hotel in the beautiful Old Town. Very attractive architecture and style. Easy access to so much beauty and so many sights.

This hotel has it all. However, I want to concentrate my remarks on the service. The staff are simply amazing.

Had a great stay at the hotel.
Pros: The Pullman felt like a Sofitel in a positive way — great in-room amenities plus posh decor.

Based on my observation, this is probably the best international-brand hotel along the waterfront of Erhai Lake.

A Blend of Excellence and Missed Potential.
My recent year-end visit offered a stay that was, overall, comfortable and enjoyable, though not without a few notable areas for improvement.

Highlights.
— My absolute highlight is the executive lounge experience during my stay. The Duty manager Tracy and her team provided a perfect service for the guests in the executive lounge.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Indigo Moonlight City in Shangri-La. The hotel offers amazing views of the city and old town, and the service was excellent from start to finish.

Superb, not cheap by Chinese Standard at $300/night, has oxygen pumped into our room, spotless, awesome food dinner and breakfast.

The hotel is centrally located, modern, and the staff even speak a few words of English.

Good value hotel for the inclusions of breakfast, Nespresso coffee machine and the usual coffee/tea offerings, bottled water and minibar which were replenished daily. Bedding was also changed daily.

Super hospitality from host, Ms Rose. She was very provide a good take care, quick response, helpful, try the best for please her customer.

A beautiful property. Nice room. Was upgraded to a room with view of the Dong Feng Yun Theme Park. Thank you.

Tucked away in a little alley, this hotel is surrounded by eateries right outside its door. Also.

Rooms are clean, and the hotel comes with complimentary usage of washing machine, detergent and dryer.
