The hotel’s website reveals the prime lake views but in real life they are even better. Buy a great hotel is more than its location and facilities, it requires great food and staff.
My wife is an adventurer when it comes to food and discovered some great regional dishes.
As a Platinum member we had access to a lounge that exceeds so many I have been to. It actually provides a choice between a Western and a Chinese 4 course set menu, and the meals were excellent.
I also need to mention both Coco and Jodi both were always smiling and helpful, the difference between a good experience and a great one.
I hope to be back.

Had a great stay at the hotel.
Pros: The Pullman felt like a Sofitel in a positive way — great in-room amenities plus posh decor. Rollaway bed was actually comfy unlike some of the other accommodations in our Yunnan itinerary. Executive lounge was great as well and dinner was a full four-course excellent meal! Breakfast was also extensive as mentioned by others.
Cons: The typical "Pullman" flair meant the toilet and shower were translucent, while the bathtub was placed in a weird way that kinda blocked the entrance to the toilet. Very minor cons though.

Based on my observation, this is probably the best international-brand hotel along the waterfront of Erhai Lake. Its location at the southern tip of the lake makes it extremely convenient for exploring both the east and west sides.
The lobby features a contemporary design, highlighted by a large display table adorned with floral arrangements. Check-in service was friendly and efficient.
The room was quite spacious, and we paid extra for a lake-facing view, which was absolutely worth it. The only downside was the air conditioning—it’s centrally controlled, so we couldn’t adjust the temperature to a cooler setting. When we called the front desk, they offered a standalone cooling fan, which felt like a rather inadequate solution. The fan was noisy.
We also had dinner at the hotel, which was enjoyable. We ordered the steamed chicken soup with mushrooms in a clay pot—a local specialty—and a few other dishes, all of which were well-prepared. There was a 10 min Bai minority group dance in the dining room. Wasn’t expecting it.
