Highly recommended. This was my favorite hotel staying in various cities through China. Gorgeous interior. Dark colors. Working air conditioning. Great water pressure. Immaculately clean (no joke). There’s staff that speaks English competently. Very helpful with planning my ventures around Xi’an. They have fruits and mango smoothie in the lobby. Great breakfast at their in-hotel restaurant. Their fitness room was adequate enough, treadmills and a cable machine. And a great location (right next to restaurants and a club, 10 minutes from the metro, the city wall and HuiminJie).

This is an excellent option in Xi'an. Very clean, spacious rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful (and even speak a little English) Price is reasonable and excellent value. Probably my best hotel experience in China. I have had a lot of Chinese hotel experiences and, admittedly, its a relatively low bar but still: stay at Eastern House. You won't regret it.

I was recently in China on a 3 week holiday visiting all the major sites. After flying in from Hong Kong we were amazed with the hotel. We had 4 rooms in total and there were large in size with great features. The hotel staff were also amazing, a special mention to RAE who works on the reception her English is impeccable and she even went the extra length to come with me to the pharmacy to assist me with being a translator so I could get medicine for my mother. The restaurant below is to die for and amazingly cheap, we ended up eating their 3 nights in a row. They have sectioned of areas so you can have your own private dining room. I will certainly be recommending this place to many and will definitely return. Thank you.
