10/10 would stay here again. Convenient location. Host was very kind and accommodating. Comfy rooms. The hostel has a very friendly and open atmosphere overall.

I had the great pleasure of a nine-day extended stay at Wontonmeen's "cassette tape" superior double room in mid-to-late January 2026 with my boyfriend.

Very glad to have chosen this hotel. Given Hong Kong prices, the rates are reasonable. It isn't high end luxury, but the rooms are not too small and they are very comfortable.

Rooms: Tiny and compact (as one would expect in the Yau Tsim Mong area), but have everything you need.

Perfect location to experience the excitement and culture Kowloon has to offer. Room was clean. Staff were helpful. Subway station was within walking distance making it very easy to explore the city.

Pros:
1) situated in the midst of Mongkok, Prince Edward and Yau Ma Tei. Albeit a bit of a walk from Mongkok MTR or airport bus stop (A21 bus) but with many shops around, there’s a lot to see and eat.

Last-minute booking that turned out well. Excellent location in northern Hong Kong.
The standard room is very small and not ideal for longer stays, hardly enough space for a suitcase.

Good value! Rooms are clean & spacious (big room in Hong Kong standard) and friendly staff. There’s a balcony for smoking by the 24-hr reception, good gesture.

It's near sneaker street and even outside the hostel has lots of shops around… their rates are very affordable, the rooms are clean… great value for your buck.

Very accessible in regards with the transportation convenient in many places like shopping, dining and strolling love to go back and stay.

Everything is acceptable…but an unhappy ending of waiting half an hour to leave without any reply in phone…if customers got heart attack, no staff would help.

Newer hotel in the Mongkok area. Not far from Mongkok Metro stations. Rooms are modern compared to nearby same class hotels.

Loved the rooms and view. The staff was really friendly and housekeeping was amazing for my stay during the entire week. The rooms were very clean and was enough space compared to smaller hotels.

Great hotel for the price. Delicious coffee. You can get water. Amazing view from 18th floor. The metro is about a 10-minute walk away. Polite staff.

Location; not bad in a quiet area about 5-10 minutes walk to MTR red line which takes you direct to many HK attractions.

A place to discover… very clean comfortable hotel or it's good to stop… a special mention for chef toque d auvergne and his excellent restaurant.

We booked a double room for 6days and 5nights. The room is really quite small, I think this is a average flat size in HK. Not spotless clean, few stains everywhere but for us it is just a minor issue.
